Bible Reading - Philippians 4:1~9

4:1 Therefore, my brothers, you whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, that is how you should stand firm in the Lord, dear friends!

그러므로 나의 사랑하고 사모하는 형제들아, 나의 기쁨이요 면류관인 너희는 이와 같이 주님 안에서 굳건히 서라, 사랑하는 친구들이여!

4:2 I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to agree with each other in the Lord.

나는 유오디아에게 간청하고, 순두게에게도 간청하노니 주님 안에서 서로 뜻을 합하라.

4:3 Yes, and I ask you, loyal yokefellow, 그렇다. 충성스러운 동료 여러분, 나는 요청한다.

help these women who have contended(다투다) at my side in the cause of the gospel(복음의 대의),

복음의 대의를 위해 나와 함께 싸운 이 여성들을 도우라.

along with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life.

클레멘트와 나의 다른 동역자들도 마찬가지인데, 그들의 이름은 생명책에 기록되어 있다.

4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. 주안에서 기뻐하라.

I will say it again: Rejoice! 내가 다시 말하노니 기뻐하라.

4:5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. 너의 온유함이 모두에게 증거되게 하라.

The Lord is near. 주께서 가까우시다.

4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, 어떤 것에 대해서도 근심하지 말라.

but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

그러나 모든 것에서 기도와 간구로 감사함으로 너의 요청사항들을 하나님께 아뢰어라.

4:7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

모든 명철(총명)을 뛰어넘은 하나님의 평강이 너희 마음과 생각을 그리스도 예수 안에서 지키실 것이다. 

4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-- 최종적으로 형제들아, 무엇이든지 참되며, 무엇이든지 고귀하며, 무엇에든지 옳으며 무엇에든지 순수하며, 무엇에든지 사랑스러우며, 무엇이든지 존경할만하며

if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.

만일 무엇인가 훌륭하거나 칭찬할 만한 것이 있다면, 그런 것들을 생각해 보라.

4:9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me--put it into practice.

네가 배웠거나 받았거나 나로 부터 들었거나 혹은 내 안에서 보았던 무엇이든지 그것을 실천해 보라.

And the God of peace will be with you. 그러면 평강의 하나님께서 너희와 함께 하실 것이다.
