Revelation 2:12~17 - To the Church in Pergamum, Faith/Martyrdom, but the Church in Crisis of Idolatry

Revelation 2:17 - (2) I will give some of the hidden manna

☞ <Revelation> 2:17 - He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it. (NIV); He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it. (KJV); "Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. To everyone who is victorious I will give some of the manna that has been hidden away in heaven. And I will give to each one a white stone, and on the stone will be engraved a new name that no one understands except the one who receives it. (New Living Translation)

○ As I already mentioned in <Bible Matrix ⑥_15>, the hidden manna in heaven by Jesus Christ is the real food, which is the bread of life or the living bread of the body and flesh of Jesus Christ who died for our sins, and the real drink, which is the blood of the covenant as the blood of Jesus Christ who shed for our sins (Matthew 26:26~28, John 6:26~63). To eat His flesh and drink His blood is to know and believe in the fact that Jesus Christ was crucified, died, and shed his blood to forgive our sins, and is to follow and love Jesus Christ. In such way, we can be saved and will live forever.

Please read <John> 6:48~58 as follows:

<John> 6:48 –I am the bread of life (NIV)

49 - Your ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, yet they died.

50 - But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which anyone may eat and not die.

54 - Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.

55 - For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink.

58 - his is the bread that came down from heaven. Your ancestors ate manna and died, but whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.”

○ “I will raise them up at the last day” (John 6:54) means to give manna to raise them up at the last day. How to raise?

☞ As I already mentioned in <Bible Matrix ⑥_33~37>, the answer is described in detail in <Jesus Teaches Nicodemus> in <John> 3:3~5. Jesus will bring us (our soul) back to life with water and the spirit.

☞ Therefore, although the symbolic meaning of manna is the body, flesh, and blood of Jesus, we can see that it is water and the spirit in terms of science and technology.

☞ Therefore, it is clear that water and the spirit are the manna that Jesus has hidden in heaven. It is to be reborn of water and the spirit into a new spiritual (or heavenly) body (1 Corinthians 15). In other words, only when you participate in the first resurrection (Revelation 20:5) as the resurrection of eternal life (John 5:29), you can see and enter the kingdom of God.

☞ At this time, the Spirit is God's life-giving Spirit that gives new life to the resurrected through the knowledge of God's life science (John 6:63), and more details for water and the spirit will be discussed in <Revelation> 20:12 and 13

☞ And as I mentioned many times, the kingdom of God will be <The Thousand Years> (Revelation 20:4~6) and <The New Jerusalem and Its Nations> (Revelation 21 and 22).
