<P>• Sorry to cut it short but: 이 구문은 정중하게 누군가의 말을 자를 때 쓸 수 있는 표현입니다. 앞에I’m sorry 를 넣어서 I’m so sorry to cut it short 하면 좀 더 정중한 표현 이고요, but 뒤에는 말을 중간에 끊을 수 밖에 없는 이유를 말하시면 됩니다. 본문에서는 but I have to go, 즉 가봐야 한다고 설명 했죠.</P>
