Lovely Makgeolli
In these day I fall in love with Makgeolli.
It is an unexpected thing that I became a fan of makgeolli before I found the particular brand.
I had thought that makgeolli was not suit my taste. Because the sourish flavor and smell were not good. Especially burp with bad smell after drinking makgeolli was embarrassing for me.
So I avoided drinking makgeolli even at home. But a few months ago, I heard the interesting news that makgeolli was popular among Korean young generation and Japanese as well.
I didn't understand why they were attracted to makgeolli. The image and taste of makgeolli was not matching with them for me. But it stimulated my curiosity, and so I bought a some makgeolli to know what flavor made them love to makgeolli. The taste of makgeolli that I picked up accidently was different from what I had imagined. Actually it was so good. I could not believe what happened to me. Was my taste changed? After that, I could know there were many kind of makgeolli by different company. The quality was not same according to a production method and main ingredients content. Generally, they were distinguished from raw and sterilized one.
In my experience, raw and high rice content makgeolli was more tasty and flavored. It also has a plenty of zymogen which is good for health.
Fortunately, it contains a low percentage of alcohol and low calories.
So I think makgeolli is good alcoholic beverage to take a sip .
