Call the shots : to be in charge
(감독하다. 관리하다, 지배하다)
A : I'm supposed to take a business trip to the U.S.A for 2 weeks next month.
(다음달 사업차 미국에 일주일 출장가기로 되었습니다)
B : Who's going to call the shots while you are gone?
(안계신 동안 누가 결정권을 갖습니까?)
* During the meeting the vice-president was calling the shots.
(회의를 부사장이 주관하였다)
Have a nice day!
첫댓글 While my boss has a business trip to abroad.. I have a right make decision for every business concerned. My staffs follow my call the shots..
I guess you are playing a vice president role in your comapny. Great!
Long time , no see, the severe chilly cold air is relieving . yesterday , I went to mountain puk-han with my old friend early in the morning. my friend called me up at 7 . I have no other way but to follow this suggestion when we go to the mountain, he always calls the shots.
I know the mountain climbing is good for our health, but I like loafing around the house all day on Sunday. Ha ha. Thank you for join us.
