All you have to do is ask.  (부탁만 하면 다 들어줄게.)


'All you have to do is ~'는 '~하기만 하면'이라는 뜻이다.

문법적으로는 ask 앞에 to를 넣어야 하지만 회화체에서는 생략하기도 한다.

아주 공손한 부탁을 할 때는 if it's all right를 덧붙인다.  

A: I have a small favor to ask you, if it's all right.
B: Well, certainly it's all right. What is it?
A: Well, I don't want to be a *nuisance, but could I borrow your car for an hour or so?
B: Of course! All you have to do is ask.


A: 괜찮다면 부탁할 게 있어요.
B: 네, 어서 말씀해 보세요. 뭔데요?
A: 귀찮게 해드리고 싶지 않지만, 한 시간 정도 차를 좀 빌려주시겠어요?
B: 그럼요. 말씀만 하시면 다 들어드리죠.  

ex) All you have to do is listen. 그냥 듣기만 하면 돼.

      All you have to do is practice. 그냥 연습만 하면 돼.

      All you have to do is plug it in. 플러그만 꼭기만 하면 돼.

      All you have to do is follow my lead. 내가 하라는 대로만 따라오면 돼.

      All you have to do is wait and see. 굿이나 보고 떡이나 먹으면 돼.
