With the Faith of Resurrection (2)

Summary:

Paul argues that if Christ is preached as having been raised from the dead, it makes no sense for some to say there is no resurrection of the dead.
If there is no resurrection, then Christ has not been raised; and if Christ has not been raised, Paul’s preaching is useless and the Corinthians’ faith is useless.
Paul and the other apostles would also be false witnesses about God because they testified that He raised Christ.
If Christ has not been raised, their faith is worthless, they are still in their sins, and those who have died in Christ have perished.
If believers have hoped in Christ only in this life, they are of all people most to be pitied.

Teaching:

Jesus’ death was for His resurrection, His resurrection is for the Lord’s Supper, and the Lord’s Supper is for His return. The Jesus who comes again is the Jesus who rose from the dead. If Jesus had died but there were no resurrection, our faith would amount to nothing.

If we believe that Jesus rose from the dead, then our faith is truly great and truly a blessing.

Resurrection is the great event of rising after death, and our lives also rise after death. We come to know the resurrection of Jesus by faith, and once we know it, we believe it even more. Let us confirm‎ that our faith is not in vain.

If we believe Jesus’ resurrection is real, we must understand what message that resurrection gives. Since we died with Christ and were raised with Christ, while we live in this world we may lose other things, but we must never lose Jesus.

안녕하세요. 제가 올리는 새벽예배 영문 요약을 꾸준히 읽어주시는 분들께 감사드립니다.

보통 주중에 점심이나 오후에 잠깐 쉴 때 올렸는데, 회사에서 다움카페 사이트 접속을 차단하는 관계로 집에 와서 제 개인 기기로 당일 늦게, 혹은 다음 날 올리게 되었습니다.

스마트 폰으로 올리는 것도 시도하여 보았으나, 폰트와 줄이 다 틀어지고 결국에는 컴퓨터로 접속을 해서 수정이 불가피했습니다.

과거보다는 조금 늦게 올라오는 점 양해부탁드립니다.
