종교를 세운 이유

54 하나님은 타락한 인간과 복귀의 인연을 맺어 잃어버렸던 이상의 동산을 찾아 나오고 계십니다. 하나님이 타락한 인간을 복귀하여 옛날에 타락하지 아니한 아담 해와를 대하던 그 기쁨의 동산을 건설하고 하늘의 기쁨을 기점으로 하여 세계적인 이념을 창건하기 위해 섭리하시는 역사가 구원섭리역사요, 우리가 걸어 나가야 할 복귀역사입니다. 따라서 복귀의 노정을 걷고 있는 여러분이 자기 한 자체를 천륜의 노정 앞에 냉정히 세워 놓고 비판해 보아야 됩니다. 여러분 자신이 어떠한 위치에 놓여 있는가, 어떠한 입장에서 허덕이고 있는가를 반성해 보지 않으면 안 됩니다. 그 위치와 방향을 인간에게 가르쳐 주시려는 하나님의 사랑이 있었기 때문에 오늘날 인륜을 대표하는 종교가 세워졌다는 것입니다. 그래서 하나님은 신앙이란 명사를 세워 역사과정에 종교를 중심삼고 인간을 찾아 나오고 계십니다.

55 따먹지 않고 타락하지 않았으면 어떻게 되었겠습니까? 하나님권 내에서 결혼해서 하나님의 사랑을 이어받고 하나님의 생명과 혈통을 이어받아 직계가 됩니다. 이런 사람들은 구세주가 필요 없습니다. 수양이 필요 없습니다. 직계는 마음이 하나되어 있기 때문에 하나님과 같이 다 통하게 되어 있습니다. 일체가 되어서 다 통합니다. 몸 마음이 싸움하는 것이 문제입니다. 하나 안 되면 여러분이 천상세계에 가서도 억만년을 두고 하나 만들어야 됩니다. 참사랑을 중심삼고 하나 만드는 것입니다. 참사랑이 아니면 안 되기 때문에 참사랑의 도리를 가르치는 그 대표자가 참부모님입니다. 모든 역사적인 죄를 뽑아 버릴 수 있는 내용이 되어야 비로소 해방이 벌어집니다.

56 종교는 인간의 뜻을 이루기 위해 있는 것이 아니라 하나님의 뜻을 이루기 위해 있습니다. 하나님의 뜻이 이루어져야 인간의 뜻이 이루어집니다. 이것이 창조원칙이요, 하나님이 인류를 창조하신 목적입니다. 타락한 인류세계는 아직까지 하나님 뜻의 완성시대를 못 봤고, 오늘날 인간의 뜻의 완성시대를 못 봤습니다. 그렇기 때문에 지금까지 인류역사는 이상세계를 향하여, 보다 차원 높은 본연의 땅을 향하여 추구해 나온 것입니다. 그 추구하는 목적은 결국 인간의 뜻으로 하나의 목적을 달성하려는 것이 아닙니다. 하나님의 뜻을 완성하는 데에서부터 인간 뜻의 출발이 시작된다고 보는 것이 하나님 편에서 보는 섭리사적 역사관입니다. 하나님이 뜻하는 것은 일차적으로 아담 완성과 해와 완성입니다. 더 나아가서는 영계 완성입니다. 천사세계의 완성입니다. 지금까지 구원섭리는 하나님의 뜻을 이루기 위해 하나님이 중심이 되어 해 나왔습니다.

57 하나님의 뜻의 완성은 어디까지나 세상이 바라보는 것이 아닙니다. 물질적 조건이 아닙니다. 세상에서 말하는 지식 조건도 아닙니다. 권력 조건도 아닙니다. 그러면 무슨 조건이냐? 사랑을 중심삼은 완성을 표준으로 하고 있습니다. 수많은 종교들은 역사의 배경이 다르고 시대적 차이가 있으니만큼 그 차이에 따라서 이러한 목적을 표준으로 하고 나오기 때문에, 어떤 종교든지 자비라든가 사랑의 내용을 갖지 않고는 안 되게 되어 있습니다. 그 사랑은 어떤 사랑이냐? 아담에 대한 사랑이 아담에게만 미쳐지는 것이 아니요, 해와의 사랑이 해와에게만 미쳐지는 것이 아닙니다. 그 사랑은 아담과 해와의 사랑으로, 앞으로 가정·종족·민족·국가, 아담의 후손 전체에게 미치는 것입니다. 그래야만 그 사랑의 이상부부로부터 사랑의 이상종족·민족·국가·세계 형성이 가능하게 됩니다.

58 하나님이 세워 나온 종교 가운데는 반드시 주류 종교가 있고, 그다음엔 주류 민족이 있습니다. 주류 민족과 주류 종교를 연결시키고 주류 사상에까지 결부시켜서 하나님의 이상 실현을 경륜하는 것이 하나님의 뜻입니다. 그렇기 때문에 하나님의 뜻은 이상 실현을 위한 터전이 되어야 합니다. 하나님의 뜻을 이루려는 그 터전 위에는 하나님의 뜻을 성사시킬 수 있는 민족이 있어야 되고 국가가 있어야 됩니다. 이것이 형성되지 않고는 하나님의 창조이상을 이어받을 수 없습니다. 그래서 역사 이래 하나님의 이상을 이어받는 데 있어서 반드시 하나님 앞에 가까웠던 종교를 통해서 민족이 편성됩니다. 종교를 중심삼고 하나님의 이상을 이어받을 수 있는 개인·가정·종족·민족·국가·세계로 연결됩니다. 하나님의 이상을 이어받을 수 있는 길을 가는 것이 뜻의 길입니다.

59 하나님의 뜻을 중심삼고 살기 시작한 것이 종교의 길이기 때문에 종교는 하나님의 뜻의 길을 가는 것입니다. 하나님의 뜻은 절대적이기 때문에 영원히 하나가 되는 것입니다. 둘이 있을 수 없습니다. 그러므로 절대적인 뜻, 절대적인 하나님의 뜻을 중심삼고 사는 사람은 개인천국의 생활을 하는 것입니다. 가정으로 그렇게 사는 사람은 가정천국의 생활을 하나님과 더불어 하는 것입니다. 민족·국가·세계를 넘어 세계적인 뜻을 중심삼고 세계가 하나되어 살게 되면 그것이 지상천국입니다.

宗教を立てた理由

54　神様は、堕 落した人間と復帰の縁を結んで、失った理想の園を探してこられました。神様が堕落した人間を復帰して、昔、堕落していないアダムとエバと向き合っていたそ の喜びの園を建設し、天の喜びを基点にして、世界的な理念を創建するために摂理される歴史が救援摂理歴史であり、私たちが歩んでいくべき復帰歴史です。したがって、復帰の路程を歩んでいる皆さんが、自分の一個体を天倫の路程の前に立てて、冷静に批判してみなければなりません。皆さん自身がどのような位置に 置かれているのか、どのような立場であえいでいるのかを反省してみなければなりません。その位置と方向を人間に教えてくださろうとする神様の愛があったの で、今日、人倫を代表する宗教が立てられたというのです。ですから、神様は信仰という言葉を立てて、歴史過程に宗教を中心として人間を復帰してこられたの です。

55  アダムとエバが善悪の実を取って食べずに堕落しなければ、どのようになっていたでしょうか。神様の圏内 で結婚して神様の愛を受け継ぎ、神様の生命と血統を受け継いで直系の子女になっていたのです。このような人々には救世主が必要ありません。修養が必要あり ません。直系の子女は心が一つになっているので、神様のようにすべて通じるようになっています。一体になってすべて通じます。心と体が闘う ことが問題です。一つにならなければ、皆さんが天上世界に行っても、億万年にわたって一つにしなければなりません。真の愛を中心として一つにするのです。 真の愛でなければできないのですが、真の愛の道理を教えるその代表者が真の父母様です。あらゆる歴史的な罪を取り除いてしまうことのできる内容になって、 初めて解放が始まります。

56  宗教は、人間の志を成し遂げるためにあるのではなく、神様のみ旨を成し遂げるために あります。神様のみ旨が成し遂げられてこそ、人間の志が成し遂げられます。これが創造の原則であり、神様が人類を創造された目的です。堕落した人類世界 は、まだ神様のみ旨の完成時代を経験したことがなく、今日、人間の志の完成時代を経験したことがありません。ですから、今まで人類歴史は、 理想世界に向かって、より次元の高い本然の地に向かって、それを追求してきたのです。その追求する目的は、結局、人間の意志で一つの目的を達成しようとす るのではありません。神様のみ旨を完成するところから人間の志が出発すると見るのが、神側から見る摂理史的歴史観です。神様が目指されるのは、第一次とし てアダム完成とエバ完成です。さらには霊界の完成です。天使世界の完成です。今まで救援摂理は、神様のみ旨を成し遂げるために神様が中心となってやってき ました。

57  神様のみ旨の完成は、あくまでも世の中の観点とは異なります。物質的条件ではありません。世の中で言う知識の条件でもありません。権力の条件でもあり ません。それでは、何の条件でしょうか。愛を中心とした完成を標準としています。数 多くの宗教は、歴史の背景が異なり、時代的な差があり、その差に従ってこのような目的を標準としてきたので、どのような宗教でも慈悲や愛の内容をもたなけ ればならなくなっています。その愛は、どのような愛でしょうか。アダムに対する愛はアダムにだけ及ぼされるものではなく、エバの愛はエバにだけ及ぼされる ものではありません。その愛はアダムとエバの愛として、今後、家庭、氏族、民族、国家、アダムの子孫全体に及ぶのです。そうしてこそ、その愛の理想の夫婦 から愛の理想の氏族、民族、国家、世界の形成が可能になります。

58  神様が立ててきた宗教の中には必ず主流宗教があり、その次には主流民族がいます。主流民族と主流宗教を連結させ、主流思想にまで結びつけて、神様の理 想実現を経綸することが神様のみ旨です。ですから、神様のみ旨は、現想実現のための土台にならなければなりません。神 様のみ旨を成そうとするその土台の上には、神様のみ旨を成就させる民族がいなければならず、国家がなければなりません。これが形成されなければ、神様の創 造理想を受け継ぐことができません。それで歴史が始まって以降、神様の理想を受け継ぐに当たって、必ず神様のみ前に近かった宗教を通して民族が編成されま す。宗教を中心として神様の理想を受け継ぐ個人、家庭、氏族、民族、国家、世界に連結されます。神様の理想を受け継ぐ道を行くのが、み旨の道です。

59  神様のみ旨を中心として生きようとし始めたのが宗教の道なので、宗教は神様のみ旨の道を行くのです。神様のみ旨は絶対なので、永遠に一つです。二つはあり 得ません。ですから、絶対的なみ旨、絶対的な神様のみ旨を中心として生きる人は、個人の天国生活をするのです。家庭でそのように生きる人は、家庭の天国生 活を神様と共にするのです。民族、国家、世界を越えて、世界的なみ旨を中心として世界が一つになって生きるようになれば、それが地上天国です。

Why God established religions 

54 God has been seeking to recover His relationship with fallen human beings and the lost ideal garden. Through the course of restoration, He is striving to rebuild the garden where once, prior to the Fall, He joyfully related to Adam and Eve. From that state of joy, He wants to create and build a world through which He can realize His ideal. This is the history of the providence of salvation that God has been leading, and this is the history of restoration we must pass through. Therefore, as you go through the course of restoration, surrender yourself to the ways of Heaven. Examine yourself objectively from that standpoint and then reflect seriously about where you stand and the situations in which you struggle. God established religions out of His love. It is through religions that God has been trying to teach human beings their proper position and give them direction. Throughout history God has been looking for us, seeking, through the path of religion and based on our faith, to bring us back to Him. (4-069, 1958.03.09)

55 If Adam and Eve had not eaten the fruit of good and evil and had not fallen, they would have married within God's realm, inherited His love, life and lineage, and become His children. Such people would have had no need for the Savior. They would have had no need for spiritual nurturing. As God's children in the original world of creation, they would naturally have connected to God, totally one with Him in mind and body. The problem arises from the struggle between mind and body. If your mind and body are not united on earth, you will have to make them one in the spirit world even if it takes millions of years. They need to be united based on true love. Without true love it is impossible to make oneness. True Parents are the representatives of true love, who teach the way of true love. The teaching that they bring can uproot all the sins of history. When we practice it, we can finally achieve liberation. (232-089, 1992.07.03)

56 Religion does not exist to fulfill people's desires; it exists to fulfill the Will of God. Once we have fulfilled God's Will, then it becomes possible to fulfill our human desires. This is the Principle of Creation, the purpose for which God created human beings. The fallen world has not seen an age when God's Will was fulfilled; hence it has not seen an age when human desires were fulfilled. Therefore, to this day human history has been focused toward the ideal world, the original world of a higher dimension of life. The goal of this pursuit is not to fulfill any one purpose based on human desire; it is to fulfill God's Will. From that point, pursuits for the fulfillment of human desire can begin. This is God's providential view of history. God's Will is, first of all, the perfection of Adam and Eve. Then it is the perfection of the spirit world, the perfection of the angelic world. God is the center, and it is He who has been leading the providence of salvation toward the fulfillment of His Will. (115-237, 1981.11.22)

57 The fulfillment of God's Will is not what the people of this world are pursuing. God's Will has nothing to do with material conditions. It has nothing to do with worldly knowledge or power. What is the condition that God is seeking? It is the standard of perfection based on love. The world's various religions, although from different historical backgrounds and different ages, have been pursuing this purpose. That is why every religion teaches a concept of benevolence or love. What kind of love meets the standard for perfection? The love of God for Adam is not only for Adam, and the love of God for Eve is not only for Eve. The love of God for Adam and Eve is to flow through the family, tribe, people and nation, and through all their future descendants. From one ideal husband and wife centered on this love, the ideal family of love, the ideal tribe, people, nation and world of love can arise. (115-238, 1981.11.22)

58 Religions were established by God; among them are the mainstream religions of His mainstream people. To advance the providence to realize God's ideal, God wants to connect a mainstream religion with a central people and a mainstream thought. God's plan is to set up a mainstream religion as the foundation for the realization of His ideal, and then on that foundation to establish a people and a nation through which to bring His ideal into reality. Without these two, a mainstream religion and a central people, there is no way for the human race to inherit God's ideal of creation. Therefore, in history, God sets up a people who can inherit His ideal, based on the religion that is closest to Him. That religion connects individuals, families, tribes, peoples and nations to the world that can inherit God's ideal. This is the way of God's Will and the path by which humankind is to inherit God's ideal. (172-263, 1988.01.24)

59 The path of religion is to enable people to start living centered on God's Will. Therefore, religions exist for people to follow the way of God's Will. Because God's Will is absolute, it is eternally one. It cannot be two. Therefore, the person who lives centered on God's absolute Will is living the life of the kingdom of heaven on the individual level. A family that lives that way is living the life of the kingdom of heaven on the family level, together with God. If all people throughout the world live in unity, focusing on God's Will for the world—beyond the levels of one people or one nation—the world will become the kingdom of heaven on earth.
