Summary:
Paul tells the Corinthians to receive Timothy well when he comes, because Timothy is doing the Lord’s work just as Paul is. They must ensure that no one intimidates him and should help him continue his journey in peace so he can return to Paul, who is expecting him with the brothers.
Paul also explains that he strongly urged Apollos to visit the Corinthians, but Apollos was not willing to come at that time. However, Apollos will visit when he has the opportunity.
Teaching:
Treat pastors with a good and respectful heart. When a young pastor comes, do not look down on him. Regardless of age, a pastor is someone appointed by God, and when God appoints someone, He works through that person.
Therefore, treat such servants well and be willing to learn from them.
All of us must be united in the Lord, and there must never be relationships where anyone is ignored or despised.
