열왕기하21장 말씀입니다.

1. 므낫세가 통치하기 시작할 때에 나이가 십이 세더라. 그가 예루살렘에서 오십오 년 동안 통치하니라.

    그의 어머니의 이름은 헵시바더라.

Manasseh [was] twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mothers name [was] Hephzibah.

2. 므낫세가 {주}께서 이스라엘 자손 앞에서 쫓아내신 이교도들의 가증한 일들을 본받아 {주}의 눈앞에서 악한 것을

    행하였으니

And he did [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.

3. 그가 자기 아버지 히스기야가 멸한 산당들을 다시 건축하고 또 이스라엘 왕 아합이 행한 것 같이 바알을 위해

    제단들을 세우며 작은 숲을 만들고 하늘의 모든 군대에게 경배하며 그것들을 섬겼더라.

For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.

4. 또 그가 {주}의 집에 제단들을 쌓았는데 이 집에 관하여는 전에 {주}께서 말씀하시기를, 예루살렘에 내가 내 이름을

    두리라, 하셨더라.

And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.

5. 또 그가 {주}의 집의 두 뜰에 하늘의 모든 군대를 위하여 제단들을 쌓고

And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.

6. 또 자기 아들을 불 가운데로 지나가게 하며 때를 살피고 마술을 행하며 부리는 영들과 마술사들과 관계를 맺고

    {주}의 눈앞에서 악을 많이 행하여 그분의 분노를 일으켰으며

And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke [him] to anger.

7. 또 자기가 만든 작은 숲의 새긴 형상을 그 집에 세웠는데 이 집에 관하여는 전에 {주}께서 다윗과 그의 아들

    솔로몬에게 이르시기를, 내가 이스라엘의 모든 지파 중에서 택한 이 집과 예루살렘에 내 이름을 영원히 두리라.

And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:

8. 내가 다시는 이스라엘의 발이 내가 그들의 조상들에게 준 땅에서 떠나 옮겨 다니지 아니하게 하리라. 오직 그들이

   내가 그들에게 명령한 모든 것과 내 종 모세가 그들에게 명령한 모든 율법에 따라 지켜 행하면 그리하리라, 하셨더라.

Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.

9. 그러나 그들이 귀를 기울이지 아니하였고 또 므낫세가 그들을 꾀어 {주}께서 이스라엘 자손 앞에서 멸하신

    민족들보다 악을 더 많이 행하게 하였더라.

But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.

10. {주}께서 자신의 종 대언자들을 통해 말씀하여 이르시되,

And the LORD spake by his servants the prophets, saying,

11. 유다 왕 므낫세가 이 가증한 일들을 행하고 또 므낫세 이전에 있었던 아모리 족속이 행한 모든 것보다 더 악하게

      행하며 자기의 우상들로 유다 또한 죄를 짓게 하였도다.

Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, [and] hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which [were] before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:

12. 그러므로 {주} 이스라엘의 [하나님]이 이같이 말하노라. 보라, 내가 예루살렘과 유다에 이 같은 재앙을 가져올

      터인즉 그것을 듣는 자가 누구든지 그의 두 귀가 울리리라.

Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I [am] bringing [such] evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.

13. 내가 사마리아의 줄과 아합의 집의 추를 예루살렘 위에 팽팽히 잡아당기고 또 사람이 그릇을 씻어서

      뒤집어엎음같이 내가 예루살렘을 씻어 엎으리라.

And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as [a man] wipeth a dish, wiping [it], and turning [it] upside down. 

14. 또 내가 내 상속 백성 중의 남은 자들을 버려 그들의 원수들의 손에 넘겨줄 터인즉 그들이 자기들의 모든 원수에게

      먹이가 되고 탈취물이 되리니

And I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;

15.이는 그들의 조상들이 이집트에서 나온 때부터 이 날까지 그들이 내 눈앞에서 악한 것을 행하여 내 분노를 일으켰기

      때문이니라, 하셨더라.

Because they have done [that which was] evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even unto this day.

16. 므낫세가 {주}의 눈앞에서 악한 것을 행하여 유다로 하여금 죄를 짓게 할 때 이용한 자기의 죄 외에도 또 무죄한

      피를 심히 많이 흘려 예루살렘을 이 끝에서 저 끝까지 피로 가득하게 하였더라.

Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD. 

17. 이제 므낫세의 남은 행적과 그가 행한 모든 일과 그가 지은 그의 죄들은 유다 왕들의 연대기 책에 기록되어 있지

      아니하냐?

Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

18. 므낫세가 자기 조상들과 함께 잠들어 자기 집의 동산 곧 웃사의 동산에 묻히니 그의 아들 아몬이 그를 대신하여

      통치하니라.

And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.

19. 아몬이 통치하기 시작할 때에 나이가 이십이 세더라. 그가 예루살렘에서 이 년 동안 통치하니라. 그의 어머니의

      이름은 욧바의 하루스의 딸 므술레멧이더라.

Amon [was] twenty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem. And his mothers name [was] Meshullemeth, the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.

20. 아몬이 자기 아버지 므낫세가 행한 것 같이 {주}의 눈앞에서 악한 것을 행하며

And he did [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD, as his father Manasseh did.

21. 자기 아버지가 걸은 모든 길로 걸어 자기 아버지가 섬기던 우상들을 섬기고 그것들에게 경배하며

And he walked in all the way that his father walked in, and served the idols that his father served, and worshipped them:

22. {주} 곧 자기 조상들의 [하나님]을 버리고 {주}의 길로 걷지 아니하니라.

And he forsook the LORD God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the LORD.

23. 아몬의 신하들이 그를 대적하여 음모를 꾸미고 왕을 그의 집에서 죽이매

And the servants of Amon conspired against him, and slew the king in his own house.

24. 그 땅의 백성이 아몬 왕을 대적하여 음모를 꾸민 자들을 다 죽이고 그를 대신하여 그의 아들 요시야를 왕으로

      삼았더라.

And the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.

25. 이제 아몬이 행한 행적의 남은 부분은 유다 왕들의 연대기 책에 기록되어 있지 아니하냐?

Now the rest of the acts of Amon which he did, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

26. 아몬이 웃사의 동산에 있는 자기의 돌무덤에 묻히니 그의 아들 요시야가 그를 대신하여 통치하니라.

And he was buried in his sepulchre in the garden of Uzza: and Josiah his son reigned in his stead.
