Bible Reading - Colossians 3:18~25

3:18 Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord(주 안에서 합당한 대로).

아내들아, 주 안에서 합당한 대로 너희의 남편들에게 복종하라. 

3:19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.

남편들아, 너희의 아내들을 사랑하고 그들에게 엄하게 하지 말라.

3:20 Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.

자녀들아, 모든 것에서 너희의 부모에게 순종하라. 이것이 주님을 기쁘시게 한다.

3:21 Fathers, do not embitter(비참하게 하다) your children,

아버지들아, 너희들의 자녀들을 비참하게 하지말라.

or they will become discouraged. 그렇지 않으면 그들이 낙심하게 될 것이다. 

3:22 Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; 

노예들아, 모든 것에서 땅에 있는 너희의 주인들에게 복종하라.

and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to win their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord.

그리고 그렇게 하되, 그들의 눈이 너희에게 있고 그들의 호의를 얻기 위해서만 하는 것이 아니라, 진실한 마음과 주님에 대한 경외심을 가지고 해야 한다.

3:23 Whatever you do, 네가 하는 무엇이든지 

work at it with all your heart, 너희들의 전심으로 그것을 하라.

as working for the Lord, not for men, 주님을 위해서 일하는 것처럼, 사람을 위하는 것이 아닌 

3:24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward.

너희가 상급으로서 주님으로부터 유산을 받을 것을 너희가 알기 때문에 

It is the Lord Christ you are serving.너희들이 섬기는 분은 주 그리스도이시다.

3:25 Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for his wrong, and there is no favoritism.

누구든지 잘못을 저지르면 그 잘못에 대한 대가를 치르게 되며, 차별(편애)은 없다.
