; 형용사로만 만든다. (형용사는 상태를 나타낸다.)
1. 짧은 형용사 (1음절) => 짧은 형용사 + er ; 1음절 (소리나는 모음이 1개인 형용사)
; shorter / faster / taller
2. y 로 끝나는 형용사 => y 를 i 로 고치고 + er
; busier / happier
3. 긴 형용사 (2음절 이상) => more + 긴 형용사 (2음절 이상 - 소리나는 모음이 2개 이상)
; more interesting / more beautiful / more talkative
4. 불규칙 형용사 ; 무조건 암기.
1) good -> better (비교급 - 더 좋은) -> the best (최상급)
