데살로니가전서5:12-28 끝, 거룩함을 추구하라

살전5:11-28

삶의 마지막 순간에 모든 것을 다 챙길 수 없습니다. 핵심을 붙잡고 있으면 나머지는 따라올 것입니다. 종말의 때에 그리스도인들에게 중요한 것은 관점과 욕망입니다. 오실 예수의 관점에서 바라보고, 나 중심의삶에서 이타적인 삶으로 욕망을 전환할 때, 나를 지킬 수 있을 것입니다. 공주야! 종말의 정확한 때와 기한에 집중하여 종말론을 가르친 시절이 있었다. 성경의 종말론은 때와 기한의 문제가 아니다. 주님이 오실 때까지 그분 앞에 드러날 우리의 삶과 인격의 문제와 관계있고, 그분이 그 날에 진정으로 완성하실 구원과 심판에 집중한다.

수고하고 권하고 다스리는 지도자를 잘 알고, 사랑 안에서 가장 귀하게 여겨야 한다. 교인 간에 화목을 도모하는 것도 지도자를 위하는 길이다. 바울 일행을 향한 데살로니가 성도들의 사랑과 지지가 이들을 환란 중에도 살게 하였듯이, 지도자는 사랑과 격려를 주고받는 공동체를 통해서 만들어 진다. 연약한 지체를 향한 우리의 태도를 점검하라. 삶이 무질서한 자를 징계하고, 소심한 자를 격려하며, 믿음이 연약한 자를 붙들어주고 나와 생각이 다른 자를 참아주고 기다려주라.

이해가 충돌할 때 손해 보는 쪽을 택하고, 악에 대해서도 선으로 맞서라. 이것이 종말에 합당한 성도의 삶이다. 주님 오실 그날까지 고난과 핍박이 있겠지만, 항상 기뻐하고 쉬지 말고 기도 하고 범사에 감사하는 것이 종말에 합당한 성도의 삶이다. 그것은 선택사항이 아니라 반드시 해야 하는 하나님의 뜻이다. 삶을 이 땅이 아닌 하늘의 시간에서보고, 오늘이 아닌 영원한 시각에서 보라, 내 중심이 아닌 하나님 중심으로 볼 때만 이렇게 살 수 있다. 말씀을 깨닫게 하고 거룩한 삶을 가능케 하시는 성령임의 역사를 의지할 때만 가능하다. 평강의 하나님의 미쁘심을 의지할 때만 가능하다.

종말 신앙이란 주님이 다시 오실 때까지 이 땅에서 신실하게 살아가게 하는 힘입니다. 권 하는 자들을 알고 사랑 안에서 가장 귀하게 여기라고 하신 것을 기억하겠습니다. 규모 없는 내 삶을 멈추고 내 에너지를 힘이 없는 자들을 붙들어 주는데 사용하겠습니다. 바라기는 우리 교회가 성령과 예언을 소멸치 않도록 목회자들을 붙들어 주옵소서.

End-of life faith is the power to live faithfully on this earth until the Lord comes again. I will remember knowing those who are recommended and telling you to value them the most in love.
