Parts of the South and the Midwest are bracing for another round of heavy rains and flash flooding this Saturday.
Meteorologist Frank Pereira with the National Weather Service said heavy rain fall would continue affecting parts of Alkansas and westeern Tennessee and move into Mississippi.
These areas will experience some relief during the overnight hours of Saturday as storms move towards the southeastern parts of the U.S.
Pereira says these areas would not experiience the same magnitude of heavy rainfall.
He wants to remind residentd to remain alert, especially since, he says, it could take days or weeks for many rivers to recede.
