New York state officials have sent a letter to the federal education Department letting it know that the state will not be complying with the Trump administration's demands to end diversity, equity and inclusion practice or risk losing federal education funding
New York department of Education says in the letter that there are no federal or state laws prohibiting the priciples of DEI.
The Trump administration ordered on Thursday that K2 through 12 schools nation wide certify within 10 days that they are following federal laws ending any DEI practices the administration calls discriminitory.
