사도행전 묵상의 마지막 부분을 대하면서...

(행28:17-31)
17 Three days later he called together the leaders of the Jews. When they had assembled, Paul said to them: "My brothers, although I have done nothing against our people or against the customs of our ancestors, I was arrested in Jerusalem and handed over to the Romans.  18 They examined me and wanted to release me, because I was not guilty of any crime deserving death.  19 But when the Jews objected, I was compelled to appeal to Caesar--not that I had any charge to bring against my own people.  20 For this reason I have asked to see you and talk with you. It is because of the hope of Israel that I am bound with this chain."  21 They replied, "We have not received any letters from Judea concerning you, and none of the brothers who have come from there has reported or said anything bad about you.  22 But we want to hear what your views are, for we know that people everywhere are talking against this sect."  23 They arranged to meet Paul on a certain day, and came in even larger numbers to the place where he was staying. From morning till evening he explained and declared to them the kingdom of God and tried to convince them about Jesus from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets.  24 Some were convinced by what he said, but others would not believe.  25 They disagreed among themselves and began to leave after Paul had made this final statement: "The Holy Spirit spoke the truth to your forefathers when he said through Isaiah the prophet:  26 "'Go to this people and say, "You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving."  27 For this people's heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.'  28 "Therefore I want you to know that God's salvation has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will listen!"  29 Therefore I want you to know that God's salvation has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will listen!"  30 For two whole years Paul stayed there in his own rented house and welcomed all who came to see him.  31 Boldly and without hindrance he preached the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ.  

오늘은 사도행전의 마지막 부분
디아스포라 유대인들을 만나 
하나님의 나라와 하나님의 구약예언의 성취이신 메시야로서의 구원자 예수 그리스도를 전해 주지만
믿음에 이른 사람도 있고 그렇지 못한 사람들도 있고...

유대인들에게 그런 반응이 있을 것과
그래서 그 복음이 이방을 향할 것
이방인들은 의외로 복음을 받아들이게 될 것임을 통해
하나님의 의도는 기독교가 세계적인 교(敎)가 될 것임을 벌써 이사야 선지자를 통해서 예언했던 것이라는 바울의 설명

이후로 그가 2년동안 로마에 있으면서
죄없는 죄수의 신분으로서 
비교적 자유를 허용받으면서
수 많은 사람들을 만났고 ...복음을 전했다는 언급으로 사도행전은 마침표를 찍고 있음을 본다

최근들어 
기독교는 복음서에 머물러 있는 것 같다는 생각을 했다
그정도 된 것만으로도 감사한 일이겠거니와
거기에서 머무르기만 하면 기독교는 관념주의 지식주의를 기독교인 것처럼 착각하게 만든다는 깨달음을 얻었는데...

거기까지면 나는 ‘유아신앙(乳兒信仰)’이라고 칭(稱)하고 싶다
이제 예수님으로 말미암은 복음으로 태어나고 성장했으면
주님의 지상명령 곧 4복음서의 결론을 생활에 적용
사도들의 사도행전의 족적을 가졌듯 우리 기독인들은 이제는 전하는 일이 하루 일과 중의 당연한 일부가 되어야 한다는 결론을 내렸다

이는 교인들의 숫자를 늘려야 하겠다는 목적이 되어서는 안된다
주님을 위해서 하는 일이라고 해서도 안되겠다
이는 전하는 나 자신을 위한 일이며
주께서 주신 사명(使命)을 순종준행(順從遵行)한다는데...큰 방점(傍點)이 있음이라 말하고 싶다

이렇게 오늘도 
사도행전 말씀묵상을 마칠 수 있게 해 주신 하나님께
감사와 영광을 돌린다
