honestly today was the first time i got the opportunity to watch him play for utd as we didn't get the preseason games shown here. i thought he was quite poor. he did hardly anything, missed a golden opportunity and didn't make crucial passes as the one van nistelrooy was waiting for. time will tell but today he couldn't cope one bit with the physical requirements of the premiership.

I have to disagree. I thought he started slow and he is a little guy but he is quick and he got better as the game went on. He is a solid passer and he gets crucial fouls in dangerous areas of the field. I thought he did great with his runs. It is obvious he knows how to get into position. For an English Premier League debut he did great. He will be a go to player in the future with his energy.

I was quite impressed with Park's display, ok his finishing leaves a lot to be desired but I think that will improve, I think he'll prove to be a very useful player for us. BIG DAVE JONES!

Park is very modest by Manchester United 's standards, and I wouldn 't expect anything special from him. He 'll get his starts by Sir Alex as a new signing, but I see him warming the bench from October on...

It seems like when the ball went to him, he seemed to have trouble controling it. He had some good first touch moves but besides that nothing special... also there was too many back passes. Missed some chances to score and assist... Anyways considering that it was his first debut, he did alright... I'll give him a 6.5

It was his first game in England, give him a break. He needs time to adapt and muscle up. That's all. He ran a lot and I thought he played very well.

at last someone speaks the truth, for all u lot who base him not being united player on one pl performance are obviously glory hunters who want instant results, give the lad a chance, i thought he had a decent first game, he just needs time. remember how quiet rooney went after his debut but we gave him time didn't we.
park will suprise u all.

Park is the same as ronaldo was, he needs time to adapt. at the moment he is going to be an understudy to ronaldo but given time like ronaldo had he mature and become a united player. he is energentic and always creates an option. he is a bit lightweight at the moment but when he gets more experienced i think he will shine. i have not agreed with all feries purchases in recent years (kleberson, bellion djemba to name a few) but i think it was a smart bit of business this time and considering his age he will adapt and i think he will become a good acquisition ( if thats how you spell it!!!).

I don't know what on earth you are talking about. I don't even think you know either.

Park was great today, showing good ability, skill and flair, and is a very exciting prospect...Just give him some more time and he will prove me right. Didn't you even listen to the commentary? The commentators were impressed  by him and said he made a very good first impression, and if you even had a tiny fraction of their footballing knowledge, you'd agree with what everone is saying.

I have to agree, I have seen park play a few times and he a little spitfire.  I think he is a great for Man United and has a big heart for pumping oxegen for those lung busting runs up the wings and never give up style of play.  With Ron out, who would be running the wings today, I say welcome to Manchester United.

I disagree, if you watched any PSV Games last 2 years or the champions league games last season if it was not for park PSV would not have even made it that far. Becasue of Park they almost knocked off AC milan.  Park has speed, quickness and can run forever.  He has always been a player full of energy and a work horse, even before coming here to UTD.  You can teach players the game, but you can't teach speed, look at rooney and ronaldo.  Especially Ronaldo when he first came to United, I saw the same postings, that he doesnt fit and it was a bad choice.  Give it some time adn he will be a dominate force, best value buy for UTD.  What we need to worry about is Keane, his ageing is catching up to him.  Also the back four looked shakey, 5 foot 6 Tim Cahill almost scored 2 headers, how is that possible!!! Anyways,  also look at the man of the match for this game, on this UTDsite which is Park.
