A: Got any plans for Parents' Day?/ B: I was thinking of taking my parents out for dinner. How about you?
A: I'm planning to surprise my mom with a homemade meal. Maybe something simple like spaghetti.
B: That sounds lovely! Although I'm not too sure about the taste. /A: Come on, it wasn't that bad!
B: Haha, just kidding. I'm sure she'll appreciate the effort.
A: Remember when we used to make those paper carnations for Parents' Day?
B: Oh, definitely! It took me forever to make just one./ A: Yeah, and our parents used to wear them all day with pride!
B: You're right. Actually, I felt a bit embarrassed when they didn't want to take them off.
A: Same here. My flowers were so ugly, but I'm sure it meant the world to them.
A: Mom, happy Parents' Day! Hope you enjoy my cooking./ B: Oh, Sam, thank you. This looks amazing!
A: Thanks, Mom. I know it hasn't been easy for you, raising me all by yourself since dad passed away.
B: It's been challenging, but seeing you grow into such a wonderful person makes it all worth it./ A: You're my hero, Mom.
A: Did you do anything special for Parents' Day this year?/B: Yeah, I took my mom out for a nice dinner at her favorite restaurant.
A: That sounds lovely. I bet she appreciated that./ B: What about you, Dan? What did you do for your mom?
A: I gave her some of her favorite chocolate and she was over the moon! It's always the little things that make her happy.
A: How was your Parents' Day?/ B: It was actually really nice. I spent the day with my grandma.
A: Wow, it's great that you have such a close bond with your grandma.
B: Yeah, she's been like a second parent to me since my parents got divorced. I'm grateful for every moment I get to spend with her.
A: Oh, I didn't realize that./ B: It's alright. I just really hope she'll be around for a long time.

B: 물론이지! 딱 한 개 만드는 데 하루 종일 걸렸다니까.A: 응, 그리고 부모님은 하루 종일 그걸 자랑스럽게 달고 다니셨지.
B: 맞아. 사실 난 그걸 떼고 싶어 하지 않으셔서 좀 민망했어.
A: 나도. 내가 만든 꽃들은 정말 못생겼었거든. 하지만 그래도 그분들에겐 의미가 아주 컸을 거야.
A: 엄마, 어버이날을 축하드려요! 제가 한 요리가 맛있으면 좋겠어요.B: 오, 샘, 고맙다. 정말 근사하네!
A: 고마워요, 엄마. 아버지 돌아가신 이후로 혼자 절 키우시느라고 쉽지 않으셨다는 거 알아요.
B: 힘들었지. 하지만 네가 이렇게 훌륭한 사람으로 잘 자라는 걸 보면 보람 있고 말고.A: 엄마는 저의 영웅이세요
A: 올해 어버이날에 뭐 특별한 거 했니?B: 응, 엄마가 가장 좋아하시는 식당에 모시고 가서 근사한 저녁을 대접해 드렸지.
A: 와, 그랬구나. 어머니께서 좋아하셨겠다.B: 넌 어때, 댄? 어머니께 뭐 해 드렸어?
A: 난 제일 좋아하시는 초콜릿을 드렸어, 그랬더니 너무 좋아하시는 거야! 항상 그렇게 작은 것들이 엄마를 기쁘게 해 드리는 것 같아.
A: 넌 어버이날 어땠어?B: 사실 아주 좋았어. 할머니랑 하루를 보냈거든.A: 와, 할머니와 그렇게 가까운 사이라니 정말 좋다.
B: 응, 부모님이 이혼하신 이후로 할머니는 나에게 제2의 부모나 다름없으셨어. 할머니와 함께하는 모든 순간들이 난 참 감사하지.
A: 오, 난 그런 줄 몰랐어.B: 괜찮아. 앞으로 오래오래 사시길 바랄 뿐이지
 
Easy english(movie) 
 
A: Hey, Mina, wanna catch a movie this weekend?/ B: Sure, but I'm thinking of just chilling at home, you know?
A: So, you want to have a movie night at home. But nothing beats the vibe of the big screen, right?
B: True, but at home, we can pause for snacks./ A: Fair point. Then how about we mix it up? One movie at the theater, one at home?
A: What's your go-to summer movie?/ B: Definitely Jurassic Park! Those dinosaurs are just amazing!
A: Totally! The T-Rex scene gets me every time! Well, for me, it has to be Jaws. That movie is so suspensefel and thrilling.
B: It sure is a summer blockbuster! The beach scenes always make me a little nervous.
A: What did you think of Jurassic World: Dominion? I saw it last summer.
B: I haven't seen that one yet, but I loved the original Jurassic Park movie./ A: The new dinosaurs look so lifelike!
B: I can imagine! Those movies are always pushing the boundaries of CGI.
A: For sure. And the storyline is action-packed and keeps you on the edge of your seat./ B: Sounds like my kind of movie!
A: It's so quiet here at the National Cemetery./ B: Yeah, it's serene. Hard to believe it's in the middle of the city.
A: And look at all those graves. It's humbling./ B: Definitely. Each one tells a story.
A: My friend Phillip's grandfather rests here as well. I might as well pay him a visit./ B: Let me join you.
A: Let's grab our tickets. Oh... could you lend me a hand?/ B: Sure thing. Just print them out on the machine.
A: Should I use the reservation number or my ID?/ B: Let's stick with the reservation number. It's usually quicker.
A: Gotcha. Alright, good thing we managed to snag seats in the middle./ B: Yup, the middle row always gives the best view.

A: 완전 공감! 티라노사우루스가 나오는 그 장면은 볼 때마다 놀라! 근데 나는 하나를 고르라면 <죠스>야. 그 영화는 아주 긴장감 넘치고 스릴 있어.
B: 그 영화는 정말 여름 블록버스터지! 해변 장면은 늘 약간 긴장하게 만들더라.
A: <쥬라기 월드: 도미니언>은 어땠어? 나 그거 작년 여름에 봤거든.
B: 아직 그건 못 봤어. 근데 나는 오리지널 <쥬라기 공원> 영화가 정말 좋았어.A: 새로 나오는 공룡들이 정말 진짜 같아!
B: 상상이 간다. 그 영화들은 항상 CGI의 한계를 계속 넓히고 있지.
A: 그건 확실히 그래. 그리고 그 스토리라인이 액션이 많아서 보는 내내 마음 졸이게 해.B: 딱 내가 좋아할 만한 영화 같네!
A: 여기 현충원은 정말 조용하다.B: 응, 고요하지. 도시의 한가운데에 이런 곳이 있다는 것이 잘 믿어지지 않을 정도야.
A: 그리고 저 묘들을 좀 봐. 참 숙연해지네.B: 정말 그래. 하나하나 다 사연을 품고 있지.
A: 내 친구 필립의 할아버지도 여기 잠들어 계시는데, 온 김에 찾아뵈야겠어.B: 나도 같이 갈게.
A: 우리 가서 표 찾자. 어, 이거 좀 도와줄래?B: 물론이지. 그냥 이 기계에서 출력하면 돼.
A: 예약 번호를 써야 하나, 아니면 내 주민 번호로 해야 하나?B: 그냥 예약 번호로 하자. 보통 그게 더 빨라.
A: 알았어. 좋아, 중간 위치에 자리를 잡을 수 있어서 잘됐네.B: 응, 중간 줄에서 제일 잘 보여.

How do Americans celebrate the 4th of July?/  We usually have picnics, barbecues, and watch fireworks.

We sure do. It's a big deal for us. Since it's one of the biggest holidays, we try to make it as memorable as possible.
