미라클 모닝에 대해서 이야기해 주세요.

최근 유튜브를 통해 '미라클 모닝'이라는 개념을 

우연히 접하게 되었다. 

미라클 모닝이란 아침 일찍 일어나 하루를 

시작하는 것을 말한다. 

-I recently ran across the concept of the

 "Miracle Morning"on YouTube. 

 The Miracle Morning refers to waking up 

 at the crack of dawn to start your day.

+ run across : 우연히 접하게 되다(=come 

  across / 입트영 본문에서는 stumble upon사용)

+ at the crack of dawn : 꼭두 새벽에, 이른 새벽에

cf) in the small hours of the morning :                                                   

                               이른 아침에, 새벽 1~3시경​

자기 개발은 거의 모든 사람이 추구하는 공통적인 

목표이지만, 긴 하루 일과 후에 지친 상태로 

무언가를 하기는 힘들다. 

그래서 미라클 모닝이 유행하게 된 것 같다.

- Self-improvement is a common goal 

  that almost everyone pursues. 

  But it's hard to do anything when you're 

  dog-tired after a long day at work. 

  I think that's the reason the Miracle Morning 

  has caught on. 

+ dog-tired : 매우 피곤한, 지쳐 죽을 지경인

+ catch on : 유행하다, 인기를 얻다

              (=grow popular, become popular)

+ pursue : 추구하다

+ common : 공동의, 공통의​

미라클 모닝은 아침에 시간을 현명하게 보내는 

걸 도와준다. 

나는 몇 개월 전에 미라클 모닝을 직접 시도하기 

시작했다.

- It helps you spend morning hours wisely. 

  I myself decided to give it a go a few months ago. 

+ give it a go : 한번 해보다(=give it a shot)​

일찍 일어나서 제일 먼저 하루 계획을 세우고, 

EBS 라디오로 영어 공부를 시작한다. 

지금까지는 그럭저럭 잘해 오고 있지만, 

때로는 체력적으로 힘든 건은 당연하다.

- I get up early and plan out my day first thing 

  in the morning. 

  Then start studying English with EBS Radio. 

  I have kept at it pretty well until now, 

  but being physically demanding sometimes 

  is only to be expected.

+ first thing in the morning : 아침 젤 먼저, 

                          일어나자마자 제일 먼저

+ physically demanding :체력적으로 힘든

+ be only to be expected : 예상되는 부분이다. 

                지극히 당연하다, 아주 정상이다

cf) it goes without saying that 주어 동사 :

                             ~은 말할 것도 없다

+ keep at it : ~을 계속 하다​

하지만 내가 좋아하는 일로 하루를 맞이하는 것은 

정말 삶이 풍요롭게 한다. 

하루를 마치며 잠자리에 들 때 성취감이 느껴진다.

- Still, starting the day with something (that)

  I enjoy is really enriches my life. 

  I feel a sense of accomplishment when I call 

  it a day.

+ still : 그럼에도 불구하고

+ enrich : 풍요롭게 하다

+ a sense of accomplishment : 성취감

+ call it a day  ; 하루를 끝내다

*talk:'v.말하다 n.아야기'의 뜻

∴talk the talk→직역'그 이야기를 말하다'인데,

여기서 그 이야기기란 상대방이 듣기 좋은 

그 이야기를 의미⇒'말을 번지르르하게 하다,

말을 그럴듯하게 잘하다'정도로 의역.

A: When it comes to saving,he always talks 

     the talk  but doesn't walk the walk. 

저축에 대해서라면 걔는 항상 말을 번지르르하게

하지만 실제로는 하지는 않아.

B: I know. He asked me to lend him 

    some money.

알아. 걔가 나한테 돈 좀 빌려 달라고 하더라고.

*walk:'v.걷다 n.걸음'의 뜻

∴walk the walk→직역'그 걸음을 걷다' 이므로

⇒'실제 행동으로 보여 주다'라는 뜻.
