You can't judge a book by its cover : You use this proverb to say that you can't tell what something/someone is really like just by looking at it. It might be different from what it looks.
(표지만 보고 책을 판단할 수 없다 즉 겉만보고 사람이나 사물을 평가하지 말라는 뜻)

If someone says, "You can't judge a book by its cover," he/she advises you not to judge someone or something only by its appearance.

A : I want to buy this car. It looks great.
