참사랑은 하나되게 하는 것
26 사랑의 감각은 일방적이 아니라 종합적입니다. 세포까지도 그와 같은 작용을 합니다. 사랑에 취한다는 말이 있습니다. 그러니 한번 취해 보라는 것입니다. 취하게 되면 천하에 존재하는 모든 것을 부르면 대답하지 않는 것이 없습니다. 흘러가는 물만 보고도 천년 동안 노래를 부를 수 있습니다. 거기에 있어서 속삭임의 감미는 무궁무진합니다. 이러한 것을 볼 때 인간의 가치는 사랑을 통해서 우주와 화친할 수 있는 주인격입니다. 이것을 이루는 것이 인간의 갈 길입니다. 여러분의 마음 역량이 하나님의 사랑을 점령하고 나오는 날에는 천년만년 노래를 부르고 춤을 출 수 있습니다. 그때는 다 이루었기 때문에 다른 무엇이 필요하지 않습니다. 세상에서 그보다 귀한 것이 없습니다. 하나님의 사랑을 점령하는 날에는 금은보화도 다 필요 없습니다.

27 참사랑은 모든 것을 꽉 차게 만듭니다. 하나님의 눈에 사랑이 들어가면 하나님이 사랑에 취합니다. 가정에서 아버지가 사랑에 취해 있으면 어머니도 좋아하고, 아들딸도 좋아하고, 전체가 다 좋아합니다. 그런데 아버지가 찌푸리고 있으면 어머니도 할 수 없이 찌푸리게 되고, 아들딸도 찌푸리게 됩니다. 또 어머니가 참사랑에 취해 있으면 아버지도 그 참사랑에 녹아납니다. 아들딸도 그 참사랑에 녹아납니다. 아들딸이 참사랑에 취해 있으면 어머니도 녹아나고 아버지도 녹아납니다.

28 참사랑은 만능입니다. 능치 못할 것이 없습니다. 자기가 이상을 그리면 이상을 그린 상대가 나타납니다. 남편이 못생겼다 하더라도 사랑하게 되면 못생긴 것이 아니라 잘생겨 보입니다. 사랑 가운데는 못생긴 것도 다 숨겨집니다. 우리는 자기 얼굴에 대해서 알지 못합니다. 매일같이 거울을 통해 자기 얼굴을 보고 있지만 자기 얼굴을 알지 못합니다. 사진을 보면서 ‘아, 내가 이렇게 생겼구나.’라고 하지, 거울을 통해 얼굴을 볼 때는 그런 생각을 못합니다. 어떻게 생각하면 못생긴 사람 중에 제일 못생긴 사람 같고 잘생긴 사람 중에 제일 잘생긴 사람 같습니다. 또 길쭉하다고 생각했는데 둥글게도 보입니다. 사랑의 눈으로 보게 될 때는 자기처럼 잘생긴 사람이 없습니다. 눈 가까이에 무엇을 갖다 대면 보입니까? 적당히 떼어 놓고 초점을 맞춰서 봐야 확실하게 보입니다. 너무 가까우면 감지할 수 없습니다.

29 사랑은 위대한 힘을 갖고 있습니다. 아무리 머슴살이하는 머슴이라 하더라도 주인의 딸과 사랑관계를 맺게 될 때는 머슴한테 전부 내줘야 됩니다. 사랑은 지극히 낮은 자리에서 지극히 높은 자리로 비약할 수 있습니다. 아무리 강한 담벼락이라도 격파할 수 있습니다. 아무리 혼란한 세상에서도 하나님의 사랑을 체험하고 느끼는 사람은 비약할 수 있습니다. 미국의 대통령이 시골에 있는 순박하고, 무식하며, 갖추지 못해 부족한 것이 많은 처녀와 사랑관계를 맺게 되면, 그 처녀는 그날부터 대통령과 같은 자리에 동참할 수 있는 권위를 부여받게 됩니다. 이렇듯 아무리 낮은 자리에 있었더라도 높은 자리로 순식간에 도약할 수 있습니다. 오늘날 인간이 아무리 비참하더라도 하나님을 중심삼고 그대가 아버지이고 내가 아들임에 틀림없다고 하는 사랑관계를 맺으면 안방 출입을 자유롭게 할 수 있는 특권이 부여되는 것입니다. 그것을 사랑만이 가능하게 합니다.

30 사랑하는 사람을 만나면 영원히 꽃을 피우고 싶어합니다. 폭발하고 싶은 것입니다. 사랑의 상대끼리 화합하게 되면 폭발을 일으킵니다. 또 사랑은 광명한 힘으로 모든 것을 점령합니다. 그 힘을 능가할 수 있는 것이 없습니다. 사랑에는 그런 폭발작용이 있습니다. 존재라는 존재는 모두 사랑 얘기만 하면 입을 벌립니다. 모든 세포가 문을 엽니다.

31 사랑하는 사람을 붙들 것이냐, 박사학위자를 붙들 것이냐? 왜 참사랑을 좋아합니까? 아무리 돈이 많더라도 우리 몸과 마음을 하나로 만드는 힘이 없습니다. 지식이 아무리 있더라도 몸과 마음, 오관 전체를 한 초점에 모을 수 없습니다. 눈과 코와 귀와 모든 것을 한 초점에 모을 수 없습니다. 권력도 그렇게 할 수 없습니다. 그렇지만 사랑은 그렇게 할 수 있습니다. 그렇기 때문에 사랑에서 최고의 기쁨을 느낄 수 있습니다. 사랑에 의해서 영육 오관의 초점이 맞습니다. 우리에게는 영적 오관과 육적 오관이 있는데, 이 둘의 초점을 하나 만들어서 폭발적인 기쁨을 누릴 수 있습니다. 강력한 자극을 느낄 수 있습니다. 이 모든 것을 부정하고 세포들이 전부 하나될 수 있습니다. 참사랑의 힘이 영적 육적인 세포를 하나로 만들 수 있습니다. 다른 것은 그렇게 못합니다. 참사랑이 최고봉입니다.

32 사랑이란 남자와 여자를 하나되게 하는 힘입니다. 서로가 완전히 사랑한다는 것은 그가 내 안에 있고 내가 그 안에 있는 것입니다. 마치 바울이 영적인 체험을 한 후에 자신이 몸 안에 있는지 몸 밖에 있는지 몰랐다고 한 거와 마찬가지입니다. 주체와 대상을 무엇으로 묶을 것이냐? 한 남자와 한 여자가 그저 아무렇게나 만나 사는 것은 사랑이 아닙니다. 사랑은 방향이 맞는 것이고 체질과 바탕이 맞는 것입니다. 하나는 플러스요 하나는 마이너스로서 완전한 상대적 관계가 되어서, 나는 네가 죽도록 필요하고 너는 내가 죽도록 필요하다고 할 수 있는 것이 사랑입니다. 이렇게 완전히 묶어져서 하나가 될 때에는, 두 인격이 합해져서 하나의 인격을 갖추기 때문에 두 사람 이상의 가치를 드러낼 수 있게 됩니다. 그러면 보다 높은 차원의 세계를 건설할 수 있는 주인이 됩니다.

33 몸과 마음이 하나되는 것은 돈을 가지고도 안 되고, 지식을 가지고도 안 됩니다. ‘세 살 버릇이 여든까지 간다.’라는 말이 있는데 맞는 말입니다. 습관성, 고질화된 타락성을 벗기가 얼마나 어려운지 모릅니다. 역사성을 지니고 세계성을 지니고 있습니다. 역사를 밟아 치울 수 있고, 세계를 뛰어넘을 수 있는 자각된 사람이 아니고서는 그것을 정복하지 못합니다. 남자 여자가 생리적으로 다르고 구성의 요소와 본질이 다르지만 사랑으로는 하나됩니다.

34 참사랑으로 화한 몸과 마음의 세포는 공명될 수 있게끔 돼 있습니다. 참사랑이 아니면 공명이 안 됩니다. 공명체는, 음차는 한쪽을 치면 같은 진동수라 다른 한쪽도 울립니다. 같이 울리려면 주파수가 같아야 합니다. 마찬가지로 우리 본성의 마음과 본성의 몸이 성숙한 자리에서 하나님의 참된 사랑의 마음과 완전히 화하고 몸과 화할 수 있는 환경적 여건이 맞으면 자동적으로 움직이는 것입니다. 힘이 작용한다는 것입니다.

35 참사랑의 공명권에 들어가면 하늘땅이 훤히 보입니다. 석가모니가 ‘천상천하 유아독존(天上天下唯我獨尊)’이라고 말한 것은 뭐냐? 그 공명권의 핵심에 들어가 보면 천하가 다 내 손 안에 들어와 있고, 하나님이 내 속에 계시고, 천리가 나와 더불어 연결되어 있기 때문에 그런 말을 할 수 있었던 것입니다. 참사랑의 공명권에 들어가면 신앙이 필요 없습니다. 구세주가 필요 없습니다. 해방입니다.

36 몸과 마음이 언제 하나되느냐? 종횡이 하나되어 있으면, 이것이 천지의 대법에 의해서 영원히 몸 마음이 하나되어 있었을 것입니다. 내가 나를 찾는 가치의 정착점은 사랑을 할 때 생깁니다. 남자가 남자로 태어난 그 가치의 결정적 정착을 할 수 있는 자리에 간다는 것은 결혼함으로써 가능합니다. 그러니까 결혼하지 않으면 사람 축에도 못 들어갑니다. 사랑을 알게 될 때에 남자로서의 완성물이 되고, 여자로서의 완성물이 되는 것입니다. 사랑을 중심삼고 완성이 벌어지는 것입니다.

37 사람이 찾는 것 중 제일 귀한 것은 사랑입니다. 인간은 귀한 물건, 귀한 사람, 귀한 사랑을 찾아 살아갑니다. 하나님은 시작도 끝도 없는 사랑의 중심이며, 천지 주관은 하루가 아니고 영원히 하는 것입니다. 귀한 만물의 중심은 인간이요, 귀한 사랑의 중심은 하나님입니다. 하나님은 사람을 찾기 위해서 물질을, 사랑을 찾기 위해서 인간을 희생시켜 나왔습니다. 사랑은 둘이 하나되는 것! 그런 사랑을 하나님이 인간에게 주려는 것입니다. 사랑으로 맺은 인연이 없는 자리에서는 흩어지지만 사랑을 중심으로 하면 모여듭니다.

38 모든 것을 화합시킬 수 있는 것은 사랑입니다. 시집을 가보니 층층시하에 시할아버지 시할머니로부터 시어머니 시아버지가 있다고 합시다. 옛날 사대부 집을 보게 되면 양반의 세도가 얼마나 굉장합니까? 또 권위의식이 얼마나 큽니까? 그 전통적인, 도의적인 생활법도가 얼마나 복잡합니까? 그 환경에서는 다리도 마음대로 펼 수 없다는 것입니다. 여자가 시집가게 되면 신랑이 뭔지 자기 어머니 아버지를 놔두고 자기 형제를 다 버리고 신랑에게 가려고 합니다. 조화의 능력을 발휘할 수 있는 원동력이 사랑의 힘입니다. 

39 사랑이란 말 자체는 혼자서는 성립되지 않습니다. 이것은 반드시 상대적 관계를 결성하기 위해서 필요한 것입니다. 이 모양은 둘의 자리로 보이지만, 이 둘이 하나됩니다. 하나가 위가 되면 하나는 아래가 되고, 하나가 동이 되면 하나는 서가 되고, 하나가 남이 되면 하나는 북이 되고, 하나가 앞이 되면 하나는 뒤가 됩니다. 어느 곳, 어느 환경에서나 자연스럽게 맞출 수 있는 능동성을 지닌 것이 사랑입니다.

真の愛は一つにするもの
26 愛の感覚は、一方的ではなく総合的です。 細胞までも、そのような作用をします。「愛に酔う」という言葉があります。ですから、一度酔ってみなさいというのです。酔うようになると、天下に存在する すべてのものを呼べば、返事のないものがありません。流れていく水だけ見ても、千年の間、歌を歌うことができます。そこにおける、甘美なささやきは無窮無 尽です。 このようなことを見るとき、人間の価値は、愛を通して宇宙と和親できる主人格です。これを成し遂げることが人間の行く道です。皆さんの心が神様の愛を占領 する日には、千年、万年歌を歌い、踊りを踊ることができます。その時は、すべてを成し遂げた時なので、ほかに何も必要ではありません。世の中で、それより も貴いものはありません。神様の愛を占領する日には、金銀財宝もすべて必要ないのです。

27 真の愛は、すべてのものをいっぱいに満たします。神様の目に愛が入っていくと、神様が愛に酔うのです。家庭で父親が愛に酔っていると、母親も喜び、息 子、娘も喜び、全体がすべて喜びます。ところが、父親がしかめっ面をしていると、母親も仕方なくしかめっ面になり、息子、娘もしかめっ面になります。ま た、母親が真の愛に酔っていると、父親もその真の愛に溶けてしまいます。息子、娘もその真の愛に溶けてしまいます。息子、娘が真の愛に酔っていると、母親 も溶けて、父親も溶け出します。

28 真の愛は万能です。うまくできないことがありません。自分が理想を描くと、理想を描いた相対が現れます。夫の器量が悪くても、愛するようになれば、不 器量ではなく、ハンサムに見えるのです。愛の中では、不器量なものも、すべて隠れてしまいます。 私たちは、自分の顔を覚えていません。毎日のように鏡を通して自分の顔を見てはいますが、自分の顔を覚えていないのです。写真を見ながら、「あ、私はこん なふうに見えるのだなあ」と思うのであって、鏡を通して顔を見る時には、そのようなことは考えられません。 考え方によれば、不器量な人の中で最も不器量な人のようでもあり、ハンサムな人の中で最もハンサムな人のようでもあります。また、長細いと思っていたの に、丸くも見えます。愛の目で見るようになるときは、自分のようにハンサムな人はいません。目のすぐ近くに何かを持ってきたとき、それが見えますか。適当 に離れていて焦点を合わせて見てこそ、はっきりと見えるのです。ですから、あまりに近いと、感知することができないのです。

29 愛は偉大な力をもっています。作男暮らしをする作男だとしても、主人の娘と愛の関係を結ぶようになるときは、作男にすべてあげなければなりません。愛 は、極めて低い立場から、極めて高い立場に飛躍できるのです。どれほど強い塀や壁でも撃破することができます。どれほど混乱した世の中でも、袖様の愛を体 験して感じる人は、飛躍することができます。 アメリカの大統領が、田舎に住む素朴で、無学で、もっているものもなく、不足なことの多い結婚前の女性と愛の関係を結ぶようになれば、その女性は、その日 から大統領と同じ立場に同参できる権威を賦与されます。 このように、どれほど低い立場にいたとしても、高い立場に瞬間的に跳躍できるのです。今日、人間がどれほど悲惨であったとしても、神様を中心として、「あ なたが父で、私が息子であることに間違いない」という愛の関係を結べば、家の居間を自由に出入りできる特権が賦与されるのです。愛だけがそれを可能にしま す。

30 愛する人に会えば、永遠に花を咲かせたいと思います。爆発したいのです。愛の相対同士が和合するようになれば、爆発を起こします。また、愛は、光明な 力ですべてのものを占領します。その力を凌駕できるものはありません。愛には、そのような爆発作用があるのです。存在という存在は、すべて愛の話さえすれ ば口を開けるのです。すべての細胞が門を開きます。

31 愛する人を捕まえますか、博士の学位のある人を捕まえますか。なぜ真の愛を好むのですか。どれほどお金が多くても、私たちの体と心を一つにする力はあ りません。知識がどれほどあっても、体と心、五官全体を一つの焦点に集めることはできません。目と鼻と耳、すべてのものを一つの焦点に集めることはできま せん。権力も、そのようにすることはできません。 しかし、愛は、そのようにすることができます。ですから、愛から最高の喜びを感じることができるのです。愛によって霊肉の五感の焦点が合います。私たちに は、霊的五感と肉的五感がありますが、この二つの焦点を一つにして爆発的な喜びを享受できるのです。強力な刺激を感じることができます。このすべてのこと を否定して、細胞がすべて一つになることができます。真の愛の力は、霊肉の細胞を一つにできるのです。他のものは、そのようなことができません。真の愛が 最高峰なのです。

32 愛とは、男性と女性を一つにする力です。お互いが完全に愛するということは、彼が私の中にいて、私が彼の中にいることです。あたかも、パウロが霊的な 体験をしたあとに、自分が体の中にいるのか、体の外にいるのか分からないと言つたのと同じです。主体と対象を何で結びますか。一人の男性と一人の女性が、 ただ適当に会って生活するのは、愛ではありません。 愛によって方向が合い、体質と素質が合うのです。一つはブラスであり、一つはマイナスとして完全な相対的関係になり、「私はあなたが死ぬほど必要であっ て、あなたは私が死ぬほど必要だ」と言うことができるのが愛です。このように、完全に結ばれて一つになるときには、二つの人格が合わさって一つの人格をも つので、二人以上の価値を現すことができるようになります。そうすれば、より高い次元の世界を建設できる主人になるのです。

33 体と心が一つになるのは、お金でもできず、知識でもできません。「三つ子の魂百まで」という言葉がありますが、正しい言葉です。習慣性、凝り固まった 堕落性を脱ぐことはどれほど難しいか分かりません。歴史性をもち、世界性をもっています。歴史を踏み越えてしまうことができ、世界を飛び越えることができ る自覚のある人でなければ、それを征服することはできません。 男性と女性は、生理的に異なり、構成の要素と本質が違いますが、愛では一つになるのです。

34 真の愛で和合した体と心の細胞は、共鳴できるようになっています。真の愛でなければ共鳴することができません。共鳴体の音叉は、一方を打てば、同じ振 動数でもう一方も響きます。一緒に響こうとすれば、振動数が同じでなければなりません。同じように、私たちの本性の心と、本性の体が、成熟した立場で神様 の真の愛の心と完全に和合できる環境的条件が合えば、自動的に動くのです。力が作用するというのです。

35 真の愛の共鳴圏に入っていけば、天地がはっきり見えます。お釈迦様が「天上天下唯我独尊」と言ったのはどういうことでしょうか。その共鳴圏の核心に 入っていってみれば、天下がすべて私の手の中に入っていて、神様が私の中にいらっしゃり、天理が私と連結されているので、そのような言葉を言うことができ たのです。真の愛の共鳴圏に入っていけば、信仰は必要ありません。救世主は必要ありません。解放なのです。

36 体と心は、いつ一つになるのでしょうか。縦横が一つになっていれば、天地の大法(法度)によって永遠に体と心が一つになっていたでしょう。私が求める 価値の定着点は、愛するときに生じます。男性が男性として生まれた、その価値を決定し、定着できる立場に立つのは、結婚することによって可能です。ですか ら、結婚しなければ、人に属することもできないのです。愛を知るようになるとき、男性としての完成品となり、女性としての完成品になるのです。愛を中心と して完成するのです。

37 人が求めるものの中で、最も貴いものが愛です。人間は、貴いもの、貴い人、貴い愛を求めて生きていきます。神様は、始まりも終わりもない愛の中心であ り、天地の主管は、一日ではなく、永遠にするのです。貴い万物の中心は人間であり、貴い愛の中心は神様です。神様は、人を求めるために物質を犠牲にし、愛 を求めるために人間を犠牲にしてきました。愛は二人が一つになることです！神様は、そのような愛を人間に与えようとされるのです。愛で結んだ縁のない場所 ではばらばらになりますが、愛を中心とすれば集まってくるのです。

38 すべてのものを和合させることができるものは愛です。昔の士大夫(家柄の高い官吏)の家は、両班(特権的な身分階層)の権勢がどれほど強く、権威意識 がどれほど強かったでしょうか。その伝統的、道義的な生活法度は、どれほど複雑ですか。その環境では、足も思いのままに伸ばすことができないのです。しか し、たとえそのような家に女性がお嫁に行くようになっても、自分の母親、父親を放っておいて、自分の兄弟をすべて捨てて、新郎のところに行こうとするので す。調和の能力を発揮できる原動力が愛の力だというのです。

39 愛という言葉自体は、一人では成立しません。これは、必ず相対的関係を結成することが必要です。二人が一つになるのです。一人が上になればもう一人は 下になり、一人が東になればもう一人は西になり、一人が南になればもう一人は北になり、一人が前になればもう一人は後ろになります。どんな場所、どんな環 境でも、自然に合わせることができる能動性をもっているのが愛なのです。

True love brings unity 
26 A sense of love is not one-sided; it is all-inclusive. Even cells function in that way. We sometimes say that people are intoxicated by love and that everyone should have this experience at least once. If you are intoxicated by love, when you call out to anything in the universe, it will respond without hesitation. You can sing for a thousand years while watching water flow. The whispering sound of the flowing water is infinitely sweet. Think of it! Through love, people attain the value of owners who harmonize with the entire universe. You want to go the way of completing this purpose. Once your heart has the capacity to capture God’s love, you can sing and dance for thousands of years. At that time you will have completed everything; you will need nothing more. There is nothing on earth more precious than this. Once you capture God’s love, you have no need for gold, silver or treasure, absolutely no need. (39-211, 1971.01.10)

27 True love fills everything completely. When God’s eye perceives love, He becomes intoxicated. In a family, when the father is intoxicated by love, the mother likes it, the sons and daughters like it, and the whole family likes it. But if the father is frowning, the mother can’t help but frown, and the sons and daughters frown too. If the mother is intoxicated by true love, that true love will melt the father. It will melt the sons and daughters too. If the sons and daughters are intoxicated by true love, their mother and father will melt in turn. (106-099, 1979.12.16)

28 True love is almighty. There is nothing it cannot do. If someone imagines the ideal, the ideal object that they imagine appears. Even if a husband is not handsome, when his wife comes to love him, he appears handsome to her. Love transforms unattractiveness. We don’t know our own faces well. Even though we see them in the mirror every day, we don’t know them. When we see ourselves in a photo, we say, “Oh, so I look like this?” but when we look in the mirror, we don’t think that way. According to our mood, we sometimes look like the most repulsive person, sometimes like the most attractive. Sometimes our faces look round, sometimes long. If we look with the eyes of love, no one is better looking than we are. When your eye is very close to something, can you see it well? You need a certain distance in order to focus. If you are too close, you cannot perceive it. (106-102, 1979.12.16)

29 Love has great power. Even if someone is a farmhand working in the fields, when he forms a love relationship with the owner’s daughter, the owner has to give him all he has. Love can leap from the lowest place to the highest place. It can break down any barrier, no matter how strong. No matter how confused the world is, once you experience God’s love, you can leap beyond it. If the American president falls in love with a country girl who is naive, ignorant, unqualified and lacking in many ways, from that day forward she is invested with the right to participate with him in his position. Likewise, if you have true love, no matter how low you are, you can leap to the highest place in a flash. Today, no matter how miserable our circumstances, once we have a love relationship with God at the center and can say, “There is no doubt that You are my Father and I am your child,” we can freely go in and out of God’s master bedroom; we receive that privilege. Only love can make this possible. (142-037, 1986.03.03)

30 When you meet your beloved, you want your love to be a flower that blooms forever. You want to explode. When two lovers come together there is such an explosion. Love conquers everything with its brilliant power. There is nothing that can suppress that power. Love has that explosive quality. All beings are in awe when thinking of love, and all cells open their gates. (179-115, 1988.08.01)

31 Would you prefer to hold on to someone because of love, or because the person had earned a doctorate? Why do you prefer true love? No amount of money has the power to make your mind and body one. No amount of knowledge can make your mind and body and five senses focus on one thing. These cannot make your eyes, nose and ears focus on one thing. Power cannot do that either. But love can. That is why love brings the greatest joy. Our five spiritual and five physical senses can unite their focus through love. In love we enjoy explosive happiness by having the five spiritual and five physical senses unite in one focus. We feel tremendous stimulation in love. We ignore everything else and all our cells unite into one. The power of true love unites the spiritual and physical cells as one. Nothing else can do this. True love is the highest peak. 32 Love is the power that unites man and woman. When two people love each other completely, they think, “I am in you, and you are in me.” It is like St. Paul; when he had his spiritual experience, he could not say whether he had been in his body or out of his body. What binds subject and object partners together? If one man and one woman just casually meet and live together, that is not love. In love the direction should be right, the physical constitutions should match, and there should be a common base. One is minus and one is plus, which makes for a perfect mutual relationship. Love is when I say I would die without you and you say you would die without me. When two people are bound together completely as one, their two personalities combine and become as one personality, and they have greater value than they do as two individuals. They then become owners who can build a world of higher dimension. (33-047, 1970.08.02)

33 Neither money nor knowledge can give rise to unity between mind and body. A Korean maxim says that a habit you adopt when you are three years old will last until you are eighty. It is very hard to change your habits and your deep-rooted fallen nature. These have a historical and global character. Only enlightened people who can crush such things underfoot, clear them away, and transcend the world, are able to overcome this problem. Man and woman are physiologically different, and the components of their original natures are different, but they can unite in love. (211-264, 1990.12.30)

34 The very cells of a mind and body are made to resonate with each other when united in true love. If there is no true love, this is not possible. When you hit one side of a tuning fork, the other side resonates automatically with the same vibration. When they resonate, the frequency is the same. Likewise, when our original mind and original body reach maturity and blend with God’s heart of true love, and the environmental conditions are right to allow that, they move automatically and harmonize perfectly. 35 When you enter the realm of resonance with true love, you have a wide view of heaven and earth. The Buddha said, “Throughout heaven and earth, I alone am the honored one.” Why did he say this? If you reach the center of the realm of resonance, the whole world is in your hands; God is inside you, and you are one with heavenly law. This is why he could say such a thing. If you enter the realm of resonance of true love, you don’t need a religious faith. You don’t need a Messiah. This is liberation. (201-361, 1990.04.30)

36 When can the mind and body unite? If the vertical and horizontal had been united, then the great law of heaven and earth would have united the mind and body forever. Only when I love do I attain my true value and find myself. For a man, it is possible to realize his full value as a man only through marriage. That means that the fullness of human potential is realized through marriage. Only by knowing love can a man become complete as a man and a woman become complete as a woman. Completion occurs with love at the center. (211-263, 1990.12.30)

37 Among the things people seek, the most precious is love. We are driven to seek precious things, precious people and precious love. God, the center of love, has no beginning and no end. To God, governing heaven and earth is not a one-day operation. He will do this for eternity. The center of all precious things is human beings. The center of precious love is God. God sacrificed the things He created to find humankind, and God sacrificed human beings to find love. Love makes two into one. God wants to give humankind that kind of love. In a place without relationships of love, everything scatters, but if you make love the center, everything is drawn together. (14-080, 1964.05.24)

38 That which can harmonize everything is love. For example, when a girl marries and goes to her husband’s home, she discovers that his grandfather and grandmother, as well as his father and mother, are all living there. In the past, in a nobleman’s house, do you know how great their influence was and how great their authority? Do you know how complicated their traditions, their moral principles, were? In that environment, a wife could not even stretch out her legs as she wished. So when a bride goes to her husband’s home, what is her husband to her, such that she willingly leaves behind her mother, father and brothers? The power of love is a moving force with the ability to harmonize. (181-025, 1988.08.28)

39 The word love cannot stand on its own. It absolutely requires a mutual relationship. Subject and object partners appear as two, but the two become one. If one becomes the top, the other becomes the bottom; if one becomes east, the other becomes west; if one becomes south, the other becomes north; if one becomes the front, the other becomes the back. Love has the active nature that brings two into natural balance in any environment, in any place. (193-135, 1989.10.13)
