Hundreds of school districts around the United States may have to abandon plans to acquire electric buses after
a EPA freeze on fundings.
Some districts who already bought the buses have not yet been reimbursed and wonder if they ever will be.
That's sparked panic and confusion in the districts must find other ways to cover the cost or delay or cancelled their purchases.
The freeze also hit the companies building and sellling the buses.
The push for electric buses has a long had bipartisan support, with many arguing the transition wil help the environment and benefit the health of the children while saving districts money over the long run.
