A historic antitrust trail is under the way for Meta, Mark Zuckerberg's company that owns on Facebook instagram and Whats app.
The case began on Monday in Washingt and could force the tech gaint to sell some of those startups it bought more than a decade ago that have gone on to become social media tech giants.
Zuckerberg will be testfying in the trail in federal court.
It's the first big test of President Trump's FTC and its ability challenge big tech.
The government claims the company bought Instagram and Whats app to squash competition and established an illegal monopoly in the social media market.
