[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 잠언 18장 1. 어떤 사람은 소원으로 말미암아 자신을 분리하고 모든 지혜와 상관하느니라.Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh [and] intermeddleth with all wisdom. 2. 어리석은 자는 명철을 기뻐하지 아니하며 자기 마음을 드러내기를 기뻐하느니라.A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.3. 사악한 자가 이를 때에는 멸시도 오며 부끄러운 것과 함께 치욕도 오느니라.When the wicked cometh, [then] cometh also contempt, and with ignominy reproach.4. 사람의 입의 말들은 깊은 물과 같고 지혜의 원천은 흐르는 시내와 같으니라.The words of a mans mouth [are as] deep waters, [and] the wellspring of wisdom [as] a flowing brook.5. 재판에서 사악한 자의 외모를 취하고 의로운 자를 거꾸러뜨리는 것은 선하지     아니하니라.[It is] not good to accept the person of the wicked, to overthrow the righteous in judgment.6. 어리석은 자의 입술은 다툼 속으로 들어가고 그의 입은 매를 불러들이느니라.A fools lips enter into contention, and his mouth calleth for strokes.7. 어리석은 자의 입은 그의 멸망이 되며 그의 입술은 그의 혼의 올무가 되느니라.A fools mouth [is] his destruction, and his lips [are] the snare of his soul.8. 소문을 퍼뜨리는 자의 말들은 상처들과 같아서 배 속의 가장 깊은 데로 내려가느니라.The words of a talebearer [are] as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly. 9. 자기 일을 게을리 하는 자는 또한 크게 탕진하는 자와 형제니라.He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster.10. {주}의 이름은 견고한 망대니 의로운 자는 거기로 달려가 안전을 얻느니라.The name of the LORD [is] a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. 11. 부자의 재물은 그의 견고한 도시니 그의 생각에 높은 성벽 같으니라.The rich mans wealth [is] his strong city, and as an high wall in his own conceit.12. 멸망에 앞서 사람의 마음의 거만이 있고 명예에 앞서 겸손이 있느니라.Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour [is] humility.13. 문제를 듣기도 전에 대답하는 자에게는 그것이 어리석음이요, 수치니라.He that answereth a matter before he heareth [it], it [is] folly and shame unto him. 14. 사람의 영이 그의 병약함을 지탱하려니와 상처 입은 영은 누가 감당하리요?The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?15. 분별 있는 자의 마음은 지식을 얻고 지혜로운 자의 귀는 지식을 구하느니라.The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge.16. 사람의 선물은 그를 위해 길을 내며 또 위대한 자들 앞으로 그를 인도하느니라.A mans gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.17. 자기 사정을 먼저 말하는 자가 옳은 것 같으나 그의 이웃이 와서 그를 자세히       살피느니라.[He that is] first in his own cause [seemeth] just; but his neighbour cometh and searcheth him.18. 제비뽑는 것은 다툼을 그치게 하며 힘센 자들 사이에서 나누느니라.The lot causeth contentions to cease, and parteth between the mighty.19. 실족한 형제는 견고한 도시보다 얻기 어려운즉 그들의 다툼은 성채의 빗장과 같으니라.A brother offended [is harder to be won] than a strong city: and [their] contentions [are] like the bars of a castle.20. 사람의 배는 그의 입의 열매로 만족되며 그는 자기 입술의 소산으로 충족되리라.A mans belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; [and] with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.21. 사망과 생명이 혀의 권능 안에 있나니 혀를 사랑하는 자는 그것의 열매를 먹으리라.Death and life [are] in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.22. 누구든지 아내를 얻는 자는 좋은 것을 얻고 {주}의 은총을 얻느니라.[Whoso] findeth a wife findeth a good [thing], and obtaineth favour of the LORD.23. 가난한 자는 간청하는 말을 사용하나 부자는 거칠게 대답하느니라.The poor useth intreaties; but the rich answereth roughly.24. 여러 친구를 두는 자는 반드시 자신을 다정한 자로 보여야 하나니 형제보다 더 친밀한      친구도 있느니라.A man [that hath] friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend [that] sticketh closer than a brother.
