I have several habits that I want to change in order to improve my daily life. Some of these habits make my life less productive and more stressful. Among them, two of the most serious habits are the habit of procrastination and the habit of using my phone too much. However, I also have a good habit, which is the habit of thinking positively even in difficult situations. I believe that understanding both my good and bad habits is important for self-improvement.
First, I often delay my work even when I know that I should start early. The habit of procrastination makes me feel stressed because I usually finish my tasks at the last minute. As a result, the quality of my work is sometimes lower than it could be. If I start my work earlier, I will have more time to check my mistakes and improve my work. In addition, I will feel more relaxed because I will not have to rush. To solve this problem, I plan to make a daily schedule and follow it step by step. For example, I will divide my tasks into smaller parts so that they feel easier to complete. If I follow this plan consistently, I will be able to reduce my procrastination habit over time.
Second, I spend too much time on my phone every day. The habit of excessive phone use reduces my concentration and wastes a lot of my valuable time. Sometimes I use my phone without even realizing how much time has passed. This habit also affects my study time because I get easily distracted. If I limit my screen time, I will be able to focus better on my studies and use my time more effectively. To change this habit, I will turn off unnecessary notifications and set a time limit for using my phone. I will also try to keep my phone away while studying. If I control my phone use, I will develop better concentration and improve my academic performance.
On the other hand, I have a positive habit that helps me in my daily life. The habit of thinking positively even in difficult situations allows me to stay calm and reduces stress. When I face problems, I try to think that I can overcome them instead of giving up. If I keep this habit, I will be able to handle challenges more confidently and maintain a stable mindset. This habit also helps me build better relationships with others because I can react more calmly in stressful situations.
However, this positive habit also has a weakness. If I rely too much on positive thinking, I might ignore my problems or delay solving them. For example, I may think that everything will be fine without taking action, which can lead to more serious problems later. In this way, my positive thinking can sometimes support the habit of procrastination. Therefore, it is important to use this habit in a balanced way. I should think positively, but at the same time, I must take responsibility and act quickly when necessary. If I find a balance between positive thinking and action, I will be able to improve myself more effectively.
In conclusion, changing habits is not easy, but it is very important for self-improvement. My habits have a strong influence on my daily life, so I need to manage them carefully. If I keep trying and do not give up, I believe I can change my bad habits and strengthen my good ones. In the future, I want to become a more productive, responsible, and balanced person through continuous effort.
