Bible Reading - 2 Thessalonians 1:1~7

1:1 Paul, Silas and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:

바울과 실라와 디모데는 하나님 우리 아버지와 주 예수 그리스도 안에 있는 데살로니가인들의 교회에게 

1:2 Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

은혜와 평강이 하나님 아버지와 주 예수 그리스도로부터 너희에게 있을지어다.

1:3 We ought always to thank God for you, brothers, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love every one of you has for each other is increasing.

형제들아, 우리는 너희의 믿음이 점점 더 자라고, 너희 각자가 서로 사랑하는 마음이 더욱 커지고 있기 때문에 너희를 위하여 항상 하나님께 마땅히 감사해야 한다.

1:4 Therefore, among God's churches we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring.

그러므로 하나님의 교회들 중에 우리는 너희가 견디는 모든 박해와 시련 속에서 너희의 인내와 믿음에 대해 자랑한다.

1:5 All this is evidence that God's judgment is right, 이 모든 것은 하나님의 심판이 옳다는 증거이다. 

and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God,

그리고 결과적으로 너희가 하나님의 나라에 합당한 자로 여겨질 것이다

for which you are suffering.너희가 고난을 받는 것에 대하여 

1:6 God is just: 하나님은 공정하(의로우)시다.

He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you 그는 너희를 괴롭히는 자에게 곤란으로 갚으실 것이며

1:7 and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well.

그리고 고통받는 너희에게도, 그리고 우리에게도 위로를 주실 것이다.

This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. 이것이 주 예수께서 그의 능력의 천사들과 함께 타오르는 불 가운데서 하늘로부터 나타내실 때에 일어날 것이다.
