Gais and Dryard, leaving the fallen spider colony behind, slowly passed through the collapsed dwelling.
The sticky cobwebs had burned away in the flames, turning to ash and scattering, while the charred totems and broken spears lay scattered everywhere.
"It seems like it's over."
Gais looked around and spoke softly.
Dryard shook his head.
"No… The forest isn’t quiet yet."
At that moment.
The ground began to shake again.
Dust rose from afar, and a new flock appeared at the edge of the forest.
The giant earth trolls charged forward, carrying rocks, and soon after the Satirops warriors and the remaining goblin spiders reappeared.
"I'm not a remnant!"
"It's reinforcements!"
The remaining forces of the Spider Lord had launched their final general assault.
Gais adjusted his grip on the spear.
"If you come, I'll stop you until the end."
Dozens of spider-walking goblins charged, spinning webs.
Gais twisted his body and swung the tip of the spear widely.
Ice spear.
Dozens of ice spears flew in a straight line and pierced the leading spiders right through.
Then he struck his hand down to the ground.
Earth rolling.
A massive wave of rock swept across the battlefield, overturning both the goblins and the Satirops.
But the trolls did not stop.
An earth troll grabbed a huge rock and threw it.
Dryard raised both hands.
A massive tree root surged up, crashed down onto the rock, and then pushed it up the other side just as it was.
Kwaaang!
The rock fell right into the middle of the enemy, causing a massive explosion.
Meanwhile, Gais spun and charged into enemy lines.
Swinging slash.
Every time the spear tip passed in a circle, the spider legs were severed and the black carapace split open.
The magic that follows immediately.
Ice drill.
The giant ice awl spun and advanced, piercing through the troll’s chest.
As the troll screamed and collapsed, the goblins that had been following it began to shake.
Without even a moment to catch his breath, Gais raised his hand.
Fluctuating sky.
Dozens of flame beams poured down from the sky, piercing through the enemy formation one after another.
Then the ascending flame surged forth as if it had exploded.
Pillars of fire shot through the forest, and the black spiderweb instantly turned to ashes.
But from behind, another group surged forward.
The Satirops berserkers raised massive axes and shouted.
Dryard reached out his hand toward the forest.
Thick vines and roots sprouted from all directions, binding the light warriors’ legs together.
The moment the movement stops.
Gais jumped forward.
I thrust the spear out like a flash.
First.
Second.
Third.
Every time the spear tip flashed, the enemies fell one after another.
The remaining trolls charged in a final desperate struggle, but Gais slammed the ground hard.
Dozens of rocky pillars surged forward, blocking the trolls’ advance, and then the rocks split open with a massive explosion.
Dryard said quietly.
"It really feels like it's finally over."
In the forest, only the sound of the wind remained again.
The flames gradually died down, and the spider web was collapsing completely.
Gais brushed the black blood off his spear and gazed into the depths of the forest.
“There’s still a long way to go.”
Dryard also came close to his side.
After catching their breath for a moment, the two set off again toward the deeper forest.
