Summary:
Paul describes how, through Christ’s sacrificial work, believers receive forgiveness and are brought into God’s overflowing grace. God has revealed a long‑hidden plan: to bring everything in heaven and on earth into unity under Christ. As part of this plan, believers find their purpose and inheritance in Him. Nothing about their place in God’s family is accidental - God had designed it beforehand, working all things according to His will. Those who have placed their hope in Christ are meant to live in a way that reflects God’s glory.
Teaching:
In Christ we have received the forgiveness of sins. In Him there is redemption, forgiveness, and an abundance of grace and truth. The dividing line between being in Christ or outside of Him is the blood of Jesus.
By accepting the grace and truth of His blood and believing that Jesus died for us, we enter into Christ. And in Christ, God’s overflowing grace provides us with forgiveness, wisdom, and understanding. He pours out the richness of His grace upon us.
The time of life God has given us becomes truly joyful only when we live according to God’s appointed plan and His perfect timing. In such a life, our time is not wasted. For this very reason, everything in heaven and on earth finds its meaning in Christ.
As we receive and embrace the grace and truth of the Christ who saved us—responding with gratitude, praise, and a life aligned with God’s purpose and His plan—we participate in the fulfillment of His will. And through this, our lives become a testimony to the glory of God.
