Responsibilities
Product Development:
• Collaborate with the design team to refine concepts and create technical specifications for
new products.
• Oversee the sampling process, ensuring prototypes meet design and quality expectations.
• Coordinate the development of materials and trims with suppliers.
Trend Research:
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and innovations to incorporate them into
product lines.
• Analyze competitor products and identify opportunities for improvement or
differentiation.
Vendor and Manufacturing Management:
• Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely and accurate production.
• Negotiate costs, timelines, and quality standards with vendors.
• Conduct factory visits and oversee production runs to ensure compliance with
specifications.
Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain detailed records of product specifications, testing results, and manufacturing
processes.
• Prepare reports on product development progress for internal teams and stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Liaise with marketing, sales, and design teams to ensure products align with the brand’s
vision and market strategy.
• Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the design and functionality of products.
Qualifications
Required:
• Proven experience in product development, preferably in the fashion or sportswear
industry.
• Strong understanding of materials, construction, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
