We play a key role in the Canadian securities market through participation in company initial public offerings, financings, mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate actions. We are hiring a talented and diligent senior accountant. EndeavorTrust.com to find out what we do and who we are. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:<ul style="list-style-type: disc;" data-ke-list-type="disc"><li>Providing support to the Controller / C.F.O.;</li><li>Preparing monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements;</li><li>Assisting with annual financial audit;</li><li>Preparing ad hoc reports and analyses as required;</li><li>Recording accounts payable entries;</li><li>Reconciling and recording accounts receivable, and preparing invoices;</li><li>Reconciling bank accounts;</li><li>Preparing and processing payroll entries;</li><li>Filing GST returns;</li><li>Filing of accounting records</li></ul>Requirements:<ul style="list-style-type: disc;" data-ke-list-type="disc"><li>CPA designation (non-negotiable requirement)</li><li>A minimum of 5 years’ of progressive accounting experience in Canada (non-negotiable requirement)</li><li>A minimum of 3 years’ public practice experience in Canada is preferred;</li><li>Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding the company and its employees and clients;</li><li>Attention to detail and organized;</li><li>Someone who is able to take initiative and ensures tasks are completed fully;</li><li>Intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel;</li><li>Ability to communicate clearly and effectively over the telephone, in person and via email;</li><li>Excellent time management; and</li><li>Ability to multitask.</li></ul>Start date is as soon as possible.
