He describes this kind of life as one marked by humility, gentleness, patience, and love—bearing with one another rather than causing division. He stresses the importance of actively preserving unity, a unity that comes from the Spirit and is held together by peace.<br><br>Paul then grounds this call to unity in what believers share: there is one body of believers, one Spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God who stands above all, works through all, and lives within all who belong to Him.
