독일 여름 수양회 준비물 - 수양회 준비 일꾼, Vorbereitung auf die Konferenz

Dear brothers and sisters
Only ten days left until we will see each other and worship God together with more than 250 fellow warriors for the Lord.

We have summarised some further useful information for your preparation.
As these are all important information, please read them carefully, especially the packing list.

1) PACKING LIST

The following is a packing list for you to check before you leave for Germany/Hohegrete.

* BIBLE and STATIONARY, iPad or another note-taking e-device for the seminars and bible studies
* 1 or 2 extra sets of TOWELS (everyone will receive one large and one small towel for the whole duration of the conference)
* one WATER FLASK to refill with clean and healthy Rhineland-Palatinate mountain water through the tap in your rooms during the conference ;) (we have a strictly limited amount of water bottles during the conference, but you have facilities to buy water on-site, you will need cash Euros, though)
* TRAVEL MULTI-PLUG EXTENSION LEAD EU standard (same as Korean!) as the plug sockets in the rooms might be limited
* PERSONAL ITEMS, such as convenient clothes, tooth paste, tooth brush, sanitary products
* SUN CREAM and INSECT REPELLENTS, as we are in rural Germany.
* Euro in cash
* optional SPORTS EQUIPMENT, such as trainers, table tennis or badminton rackets, frisbees
* optional HEADPHONES or EARPHONES, if you need translation, please bring them with you. Read below for details
* for parents: don't forget some toys and books for the children

2) TRANSLATION SERVICES
Important note for those needing translation into Korean, English or German:
Please bring your own headphones that are compatible with your phones or laptops.
The translation services into English, Korean or German will be offered via Zoom.
We will send details closer to the conference date. Until then, please remember to bring your headphones.
At the same team we ask only those to use the translation services, who otherwise would not understand any of the sermon, mission reports or testimonies, as we have a limited wifi service.

4) INTERNET
Unfortunately, the wifi at the conference is not the best and might be limited especially in the rooms.
If possible, we would like to ask you to enable roaming and check with your mobile provider to purchase an appropriate roaming package.

5) PFAND
Now, there is one word that you will need to learn, when you come to Germany. It's the word "Pfand" (pronounced as [Funnt]). It's a deposit of 25c that you must pay for any metal or plastic package, mostly containing beverages. This is not always obvious on the price tag, so if you see the sign below you will have to pay 25c extra to your purchase. (For Americans, VAT, though, is included in the price, so you won't need to have a maths degree to add on 19% to each products price tag ;) ) The purpose of the Pfand is to bring these packages back to the shops so that they can be recycled and you'll receive the 25c back.
SO THIS ALSO MEANS, please bring back any water empty bottles that are being provided by us, so that we can bring them back to the shops!

6) SUNDAY SHOP OPENING TIMES
Germany used to be a very religious country and as most of you know the Reformation and many Christian movements have started here. One legacy of this Christian tradition is that most shops in Germany will be closed on Sundays (especially in rural areas) and the concept of 24-hour-shops such as in the US or in Korea is not widely known. So, please be aware if you intend to buy anyting during the weekend, you will have to finish your shopping on Saturday. Even on Saturdays the shops may close earlier.

이제 10일만 지나면 하나님을 위해 헌신하시는 250명 이상의 동역자들과 함께 하나님을 경배하는 시간이 시작됩니다!
아래는 이를 위해 준비 할 수 있는 추가 정보입니다. 중요한 정보이니 특히 물품 체크리스를 자세하게 읽어주시기 바랍니다.

1) 물품 체크리스트

독일/호헤그러테 여행 준비하실 때 꼭 갖고 가실 물품을 기억하도록 체크리스트를 작성했습니다.

* 성경책과 필기용, iPad나 세미나와 성경공부 중 쓰실 기타 노트 필기용 전자기기
* 추가 수건 1,2 셋트 (수양회 기간 동안 큰수건 하나와 작은 수건 하나만 받으실 것입니다.)
* 물병 한병 (수양회 기간동안에 준비하는 물병은 한계가 되어 있습니다. 그래서 꼭 물병 한병을 갖고 오셔서 건강한 독일 산물이 나온 수돗물로 체우시기 바랍니다. ;) 숙소에서 물을 판매하나 여기도 한계되어 있을 수 있습니다. 구입하시려먼 꼭 유로 현금이 필요합니다.
* 여행용 EU 표준 (한국과 동일) 멀티 플러그 멀티탭 , 객실 내 콘센트가 부족할 수 있으므로 준비하세요
* 개인 물품: 편한 옷, 치약, 칫솔, 위생 용품 등
* 썬크림과 방충제 (숙소는 독일 시골이라서입니다)
* 원하시면 운동장비: 운동화, 탁구채, 배드민턴채 등
* 통역이 필요하시면 개인 이어폰이나 헤드폰을 꼭 갖고 오시기 바랍니다. 아래 정보를 읽어주세요.
* 현금 유로
* 아동이나 유치원 나이 아이들 있는 부모들은 아이들 위한 장난감이나 책을 잊지 마시기 바랍니다

2) 통역
한국어, 영어, 독일어 통역이 필요하시는 분들은 꼭 개인 휴대폰이나 노트북과 사용할 수 있는 이어폰 또는 헤드폰을 갖고 오시기 바랍니다. 통역은 줌 (Zoom)으로 진행될 예정인데 다음주에 더 자세한 정보를 보내드리겠습니다.
숙소에 와이파이가 한정되어 있어서 통역 없이는 설교나 간증이나 선교보고를 전혀 이해 못하시는 분들께서만 사용해주시기 바랍니다.

4) 무선 인터넷
유감스럽게도 숙소에 제공되는 와이파이는 특히 객실에서 연결이 잘 안될 수도 있습니다.
가능하면 휴대폰 통신사에 미리 문의하셔서 적절한 로밍 요금제를 구입해 주시길 바랍니다.

6) PFAND
독일에 오시면 독일어도 조금 배워두시는 것이 많은 도움이 되실 것입니다. 구텐탁, 당케쉔, 이히 리베 디히보다 더 중요한 단어는 "Pfand" [판드] 입니다. Pfand는 주로 음료를 싼 메탈류, 종이류나 플라스틱 포장에 달려 있는 25 cent 보증금입니다. 독일에서 이러한 물품을 사실때 가격표에 안나올 수도 있습니다. 아래와 같은 표시가 있으면 Pfand가 추가되니 잘 확인해주세요.
(미주에 거주하신 분들께: 세금은 가격에 포함되어 있으니 가격표에 나오는 금액은 나중에 결제하시는 금액과 일치합니다.)
Pfand의 의미는 고객들이 메탈류, 종이류, 프라스틱류 포장을 다시 매장에 반납해서 제활용 쓰래기로 가게 하고 25 cent를 다시 돌려 받기 위합입니다.
그래서 (!) 수양회 때 제공되고 남는 물병들은 버리지 마시고 다시 다 돌려주시기 바랍니다!

8) 일요일 매장 영업시간
독일은 과거에 기독교과 널리 퍼진 나라였었고 모두들 아시다시피 기독교 종교 개혁도 여기서 시작이 되었습니다. 이러한 기독교 문화에서 남는 풍섭중 하나는 가게들이 일요일에 다 닫는 것입니다. 특히 시골지역에는 일요일에 연 가게들이 거의 없고 독일은 24시간 영업하는 가게 조차도 아주 드뭅니다.
그래서 주말에 쇼핑을 하시던가 꼭 필요하신 것이 있으시면 토요일까지 마쳐주세요.
그리고 토요일에도 가게들이 일찍 닫는 곳들이 많으니 주의해주세요.
