自然(자연)은 억지나 거짓없이 착함을 행하는 것이다. Naturalness means practicing goodness without force or falsehood.
글을 배워 받들어 보존하고 사람이 있어야 할 장소에 얽어 매면 비록 착하지 않음을 행하려 하여도 할 수 없음이다. If one learns the teachings, upholds and preserves them, and anchors oneself in the proper place where a person ought to be, one will be unable to do wrong even if one tries to.
德(덕)을 닦아 착함을 행하고 티도 없고 흠도 없으면 가히 그 福(복)을 받게 된다. If one cultivates virtue, practices goodness, and remains completely flawless and stainless, one will surely receive blessings.

自然者는 自然爲善也라 (자연자는 자연위선야라) Nature(Naturalness) means practicing goodness naturally(without force or pretense).
抱持文學하고 縻絆位處하여 (포지문학하고 미반위처하여) By holding fast to learning and literature, and binding oneself to the proper position where one ought to reside,
雖欲爲가 不善不得하고 (수욕위가 불선부득하고) Even if one wishes to commit wrongdoing, one will be unable to do so,
修德行善하여 無瑕無疵하니 (수덕행선하여 무하무자하니) And by cultivating virtue and practicing goodness so that there is neither flaw nor blemish,
可領其福이니라. (가령기복이니라.) One will surely be worthy to receive its blessings.
