천성경 (증) - 244. 우주의 질서와 공법

1 우리가 살고 있는 이 지구는 태양의 주위를 우주의 법도에 따라서 변함없이 공전하고 있습니다. 지구 자체가 그렇거니와 태양 자체도 자전하고 있습니다. 지구의 130만 배나 되는 태양이 쉴 새 없이 움직이고 있다는 것입니다. 우주에는 이런 태양계의 수천억 배나 되는 광대한 은하계가 있습니다. 이런 은하계를 소우주라고 하는데, 우주에는 은하계와 같은 성운들이 수없이 많이 있습니다. 이것을 통틀어서 대우주라고 합니다. 반경만 해도 수천억 광년이나 되는 어마어마한 대우주를 지으신 하나님은 그 대우주를 변함없는 법도에 따라서 수억만년 움직여 나오고 계십니다. 우리가 생각할 수도 없고 느낄 수도 없을 정도로 위대한 힘을 가지고 모든 천체를 움직이신다는 것입니다. 이러한 우주를 지으신 하나님을 생각하면 생각할수록 우리는 그 웅장함과 위대함에 자연히 머리 숙이지 않을 수 없습니다. 이런 대우주를 창조하신 그분이 우리를 지켜 주시는 아버지요, 우리를 보호해 주시는 하나님이요, 실존하시는 위대한 주인공이라는 것입니다.

2 대우주를 볼 때 우주가 무질서하게 되어 있지 않습니다. 단위를 구성하는 공식 위에 우주는 움직이고 있습니다. 그렇기 때문에 천년만년 움직인다 해도 착오 없이 움직입니다. 오늘날 과학의 발달도 공식상의 발달입니다. 수학을 통해서 모든 것을 풀어대는 것도 공식을 연결시켜 푸는 거와 마찬가지로, 과학문명은 공식상의 발달을 하는 것입니다. 공식은 단위적 완성입니다. 단위를 연결시켜야 됩니다. 그것은 출발과 끝이 완전히 연결되어 맞아야 됩니다. 수학 문제를 풀 때에도 많은 공식을 통한 결론은, 전부 본연에서 제시한 이상의 길과 풀어서 돌아가는 것이 맞아야 된다는 것입니다.

3 우주는 막연히 되어 있는 것이 아닙니다. 질서가 있습니다. 이런 내용을 가지고 순환운동을 하고 있다는 것입니다. 운동은 수많은 모양으로 갖춰 나가지만, 거기에도 하나의 주류가 있습니다. 그것이 큰 강을 중심삼고 볼 때, 지류와 주류가 마찬가지 입장에서 운동하고 있는 것입니다. 대우주도 하나의 축을 중심삼고, 주류와 같은 흐름을 따라 운동한다는 것입니다. 그렇기 때문에 종착점에 선 이 세계는, 이 우주는 하나의 목적을 중심삼고 움직인다는 결론을 내리지 않을 수 없습니다.

4 하나님은 절대적인 분이어야 됩니다. 유일·불변·영원하셔야 됩니다. 그분이 정한 법도는 절대적이어야 됩니다. 그렇기 때문에 이 우주는 그 법도에 따라서 천년만년, 몇 억만년 운동을 계속합니다. 미물인 동물세계라든가 식물세계도 그런 과학적인 공식 법도에 의한 터전 위에서 존속합니다. 그렇기 때문에 수학으로 다 풀 수 있습니다. 미물인 동물도 그렇고 식물도 그렇고 대우주의 운행하는 모든 것도 법도 위에 서서 영원한 궤도를 따라 존속하기를 바라는데, 만물의 영장인 인간이 주먹구구식으로 제멋대로 되었겠느냐는 말입니다. 그렇게 안 되었다는 것입니다.

5 광대무변한 대우주는 하나의 공식 원리를 통해 운동합니다. 공식은 단위를 통해서, 단위를 결속시켜서 이뤄집니다. 이 우주는 공식을 바탕으로 한 형식을 통해 창건된 세계이기 때문에 공식에 들어맞습니다. 그래서 수학으로 풀 수 있는 것입니다. 전기도 수학으로 풀잖아요? 수학은 공식을 활용해서 풀어 나갑니다. 공식은 단위가 있어야 됩니다. 하나 둘 셋이라는 단위를 통해서 나옵니다. 그러니 단위가 맞아야 되고 공식에 맞아야 됩니다. 그렇지 않으면 정당한 답이 안 나옵니다.

6 자연계라든가 이 세계의 움직임을 보더라도, 무한 광대한 대우주를 보더라도 우리는 볼 수 없지만 전부 우주의 공법에 의해 변함없는 회전운동을 하면서 궤도를 따라서 영원히 존속하고 있습니다. 여름이 지나가면 가을이 오고, 가을이 지나게 되면 겨울이 올 줄 누가 알았겠습니까? 겨울이 가게 되면 또 봄이 올 줄 누가 알았겠습니까? 우주는 자기 갈 길을 따라서, 춘하추동 궤도를 스스로 맞추어 가지고 자전하면서 자존하고 있다는 것입니다.

7 우주는 가정을 확대한 것입니다. 가정을 보게 되면 상·중·하가 있고, 좌우가 있고, 전후가 있습니다. 이것이 원칙입니다. 그래서 상하를 말할 때는 부모와 자녀를 말하고, 좌우를 말할 때는 남편과 아내를 말하고, 전후를 말할 때는 형제를 말합니다. 이러한 전체가 무엇으로 하나가 되느냐? 힘으로, 지식으로, 돈으로 할 수 없습니다. 그러면 어떤 것으로 할 수 있느냐? 사랑입니다. 사랑도 보통 사랑이 아닙니다. 참사랑입니다. 그것은 틀림없는 진리입니다. 그렇지 않고는 구형이 안 됩니다. 그러면 상·중·하는 가정에 있어서 무엇이냐? 사랑의 교재입니다. 우주 사랑을 접할 수 있는 사랑의 교재입니다. 그와 같은 것을 사회에 가서 하라는 것입니다.

8 사랑의 법을 세우기 위해 우주가 있다고 생각할 때, 얼마나 이 세계가 일정하게 달라지느냐? 봄철에 짹짹거리는 참새들도 그러는 것을 볼 때 ‘야, 우리 부처가 참새보다 나으냐?’라고 생각하고, 제비가 먹이를 물어다가 자기 새끼에게 먹이는 것을 볼 때 ‘야, 자식을 저렇게 사랑해 주는 게 원칙이구나.’라고 생각해야 됩니다. 다 같은 법입니다. 그 어미가 배가 불러 먹을 수 없어서 새끼들에게 물어다 먹이겠습니까? 자기가 배고파도 물어다 먹인다는 것입니다. 인간세계에서는 이런 사랑의 공법을 어디서 찾느냐? 선생님에게서도 찾을 수 없고, 나라님에게서도 찾을 수 없고, 남편에게서도 찾을 수 없고, 아내에게서도 찾을 수 없는데, 그래도 어머니 아버지가 자식을 사랑하는 데만은 그것이 남아 있다는 것입니다. 하나님이 인류를 사랑하는 그 사랑이 남아 있기 때문입니다. 그래서 부모가 자식을 사랑하는 그 사랑에만은 그것이 남아 있다는 것입니다.

9 사람이 아무리 잘났다고 하더라도 춘하추동 사계절에 순응해야 됩니다. 겨울인데도 ‘아이고, 나는 여름을 좋아하기 때문에 모시 적삼 치마저고리를 입어야 되겠다.’라고 하면 죽습니다. 보조를 맞춰야 됩니다. 봄이 되면 봄옷을 입어야 됩니다. 갈아입지 않으면 지장이 오고 파탄이 벌어집니다. 겨울이 되면 겨울옷으로 갈아입어야 됩니다. 마찬가지로 여러분이 천지의 법도, 천리의 법도에 그 환경과 처지에서 순응할 뿐만 아니라 맞출 줄 알아야만 천리의 보호를 받게 됩니다. 거기에서 살아남아야 생명체로서 영원한 우주 앞에 주체성을 지닐 수 있습니다.

10 우주는 운동의 법칙, 힘의 작용의 원칙에 의해 시작되었습니다. 모든 것은 우주의 박자에 맞는 천운의 법도에 맞추어 갑니다. 그 천운의 법도에 맞추어 가는 것이 무엇이냐 하면, 사위기대의 법도입니다. 그러니 우리는 이 사위기대의 법도에 자신을 부합시켜서 사위기대의 법도를 옹호해야 됩니다. 그러나 그 결과가 부실하면 불합격자가 됩니다. 다시 말하면 부부간에 아무리 잘 주고 잘 받는다 해도 결과적 존재인 자녀가 없으면 불행한 것입니다. 왜냐하면 우주의 법도와 원칙이 사위기대를 중심삼고 돌고 있는데, 삼위기대밖에 못 이루게 되면 영원히 도는 사위기대 법도 앞에 배치되기 때문입니다. 그렇게 되면 하나님과 거리가 멀어지게 되니 자연히 슬퍼지는 것입니다.

11 기쁨은 어디서 오는가? 마음의 요구에 몸이 응할 때 생깁니다. 마음과 몸이 완전한 주체와 대상이 되어 사위기대를 이루게 되면 마음이 원하는 대로 몸이 움직이게 됩니다. 그러한 입장에서 기쁨이 오는 것입니다. 우주의 원칙인 천운이 옹호해 주니 하나님과 만날 수 있는 거리가 점점 단축되어 가까워지기 때문에 기쁨이 생기는 것입니다. 그렇지만 양심에 가책되는 일을 하여 마음의 상대요소가 없게 될 때는 결국 그 주체까지도 없어집니다. 우주의 원칙은 주체만 있게 되면, 대상이 반대하지 않는다 하더라도 몰아내는 힘이 반드시 나타나게 되어 있습니다. 그것이 슬픔으로 나타나는 것입니다. 기쁨과 슬픔은 내가 원인이 되어 생깁니다.

12 가슴이 아프게 슬플 때도 있는데, 왜 슬프냐? 무슨 힘이 나에게 작용해서 슬프냐? 그것은 우주의 대운세에 생명력을 좌우할 수 있는 우주의 공법 작용 때문입니다. 그러므로 이 공법에 부합되지 못하고 반대되면 제거당합니다. 우주의 힘은 밀기도 하고 잡아당기기도 합니다. 여기서 반대 방향으로 밀어내는 힘이 크면 클수록 기쁠 수가 없습니다. 부부가 같이 살다가 한 사람이 먼저 죽으면 울게 됩니다. 그것은 우주의 공법 앞에 불합격 기준에 해당하면 우주의 공적인 힘이 그 사람을 밀어내게 되고, 또 그렇게 될 때에 슬픔의 강도가 높아지기 때문입니다. 그러면 기쁨은 어떻게 생기느냐? 우주 공법에 일치되는 자체가 되면 우주의 힘이 그를 안으려고 합니다. 그 힘이 크면 클수록 강하게 부여안게 되고, 강하게 안으면 안을수록 그는 내적인 중심에 들어가게 되기 때문에 기쁨이 온다는 것입니다. 그러므로 슬픔과 기쁨은 자기 자신에게서 벌어지는 것이 아닙니다. 이것은 힘의 원칙, 즉 우주 공법을 중심삼고 벌어집니다.

13 공존하는 우주를 바라보면, 거기에는 반드시 화합작용과 반발작용이 있습니다. 화합작용은 더 큰 데로 화하려고 합니다. 여러분의 마음도 화합하려고 하는데 더 큰 데로 화합하려고 합니다. 화합하는 데는 그냥 하지 않습니다. 돌면서 하는 것입니다. 작은 것이 둘이 합하려면, 서로가 좋아서 합하려면 어떻게 되어야 하느냐? 나 자체가 자기를 넘어서 상대를 감쌀 수 있는 힘이 있어야 하나되는 것입니다. 자기를 넘어서 큰 힘으로 품으려고 하는 것이 있어야 하나됩니다. 자기보다 작게 만들려고 하는 데서는 절대 하나 안 됩니다. 자기를 넘어서 더 큰 것을 품으려고 하는 서로의 작용을 갖게 되면 그것은 우주력이 보호합니다. 그것이 주체와 대상의 관계입니다.

14 아프다는 것은 무엇이냐? 우리의 모든 기관에 있어서 균형을 취할 수 있는 일면이 파괴되었을 때 그것을 빨리 시정하지 않으면 우주는 ‘너는 현재 공존 원칙의 기준에 불합격자다.’라고 하면서 몰아냅니다. 그 몰아내는 힘 때문에 아픔을 느낀다는 것입니다. 그러면 슬픔은 왜 오느냐? 마찬가지입니다. 나 자신이 평화스러운 경지에서 몸과 마음이 하나되어, 환경과 하나되어 우주의 더 큰 세계로 전진해 나가는 데 있어서 화하는 자리에 선다면 거기는 우주가 보호해 주는 것입니다. 우주 전체 세계에 있어서 서로가 연결되어 공존할 수 있는 연체적 작용권을 이루고 있으면 서로서로가 상응하는 입장에서 보호해 주는데, 거기에 상반될 때는 반드시 우주력이 몰아냅니다. 이것이 슬픔으로 연결되는 것입니다.

15 우주에는 상대이념을 갖추지 않은 존재는 존속할 수 없습니다. 상대이념을 갖춘 사람은 보호합니다. 반드시 보호해 주는 것입니다. 그렇기 때문에 남자 여자가 영원한 사랑을 중심삼고 하나되어 살려고 할 때는 전 우주가 보호합니다. 전후좌우에서 이것을 침범할 자가 없습니다. 병난 것은, 몸에 주고받는 길이 있는데 그중 하나가 막혀 있는 것입니다. 플러스와 마이너스의 길이 막혀 있는 것입니다. 막혀 있으면 우주에 불합격자입니다. 상대이상을 갖추고 있어야 보호하는데, 그렇지 못하면 불합격된 그 비율만큼 냅다 모는 것입니다. 냅다 모는 작용이 아픔으로 나타납니다. 누르면 아프지요? 병이 아프게 하는 것이 아닙니다. 우주력이 아프게 하는 것입니다. ‘네가 수수작용을 못해서, 주체와 대상의 화합관계를 이루지 못해서 그래. 네 몸이 반드시 이 막힌 것을 터서 화합시키지 않으면 우주의 폐물 단지로 들어가는 거야.’라고 경고하는 것입니다. 우주는 화합하는 것을 보호하게 마련입니다.

天聖経 (增) - 244. 宇宙の秩序と公法

1　私たちが住んでいるこの地球は、太陽の周囲を宇宙の法度に従って、変わることなく公転しています。地球自体もそうですが、太陽自体も自転しています。 地球の百三十万倍にもなる太陽が、休みなく動いているというのです。宇宙には、このような太陽系の数千億倍にもなる広大な銀河系があります。このような銀 河系を小宇宙と言うのですが、宇宙には銀河系のような星雲が数えきれないほど多くあるのです。これをまとめて大宇宙と言います。
 半径だけで数千億光年にもなる途方もない大宇宙を造られた神様は、その大宇宙を変わることのない法度に従い、数億万年の間、動かしていらっしゃるのです。 私たちが考えることもできず、感じることもできないほど偉大な力をもって、すべての天体を動かされるというのです。このような宇宙を造られた神様を思えば 思うほど、私たちはその雄壮さと偉大さに、自然と頭を下げざるを得ません。このような大宇宙を創造されたその方が、私たちを守ってくださる父であり、私た ちを保護してくださる神様であり、実存なさる偉大な主人公だというのです。

2　大宇宙を見れば、宇宙は無秩序になっているのではありません。単位を構成する公式の上に、宇宙は動いているのです。ですから、千年、万年動いても、間 違うことなく動くのです。今日の科学の発達も、公式上の発達です。数学を通してすべてのものを解いていくのも、公式を連結させて解くのと同じように、科学 文明は公式上において発達するのです。公式とは、単位の完成です。単位を連結しなければなりません。それは出発と終わりが完全に連結され、合わなければな りません。数学の問題を解くときも、多くの公式を通じた結論は、本然において提示した理想の道と、解いて戻っていくものがすべて合わなければならないとい うことです。

3　宇宙は、漠然とできているのではありません。秩序があります。このような内容をもって循環運動をしているというのです。運動は、数多くの形を備えて行 われますが、そこにも一つの主流があります。それが大きな川を中心として見てみるとき、支流と主流が同じ立場で運動しているのです。大宇宙も一つの軸を中 心として、主流のような流れに従って運動するというのです。ですから、終着点に立ったこの世界、この宇宙は、一つの目的を中心として動くという結論を下さ ざるを得ないのです。

4　神様は、絶対的な方でなければなりません。唯一、不変、永遠でなければなりません。その方が定めた法度は、絶対的でなければなりません。ですから、こ の宇宙はその法度に従って、千年、万年、何億万年、運動を続けるのです。微生物の世界や植物の世界も、そのような科学的公式法度による基盤の上に存続する のです。したがって、数学ですべて解けるのです。微生物もそうであり、植物もそうであり、大宇宙の運行するすべてのものも、法度の上に立って永遠の軌道に 従って存続することを願うのに、万物の霊長である人間がいい加減に、思いのままに行動するようになっているのだろうかというのです。そのようにはなってい ないのです。

5　広く限りない大宇宙は、一つの公式原理を通して運動します。公式は単位を通して、単位を結束させて成立します。この宇宙は、公式を土台とした形式を通 して創建された世界なので、公式にきちんと当てはまるのです。ですから、数学で解けるのです。電気も数学で解くでしょう。数学は、公式を活用して解いてい くのです。公式は単位がなければなりません。一、二、三という単位を通して出てくるのです。ですから、単位が合わなければならず、公式に合わなければなり ません。そうでなければ、正しい答えが出てこないのです。

6　自然界やこの世界の動きを見ても、無限で広大な大宇宙を見ても、私たちは目にできませんが、すべて宇宙の公法によって変わることのない回転運動をしな がら、軌道に従って永遠に存続しています。夏が過ぎれば秋が来て、秋が過ぎれば冬が来ることを誰が分かったでしょうか。冬になれば、また春が来ることを誰 が知っていたでしょうか。宇宙は自分の行く道に従って、春夏秋冬、軌道を自ら合わせ、自転しながら自存しているというのです。

7　宇宙は家庭を拡大したものです。家庭を見れば、上中下があり、左右があり、前後があります。これが原則です。ですから、上下と言うときは父母と子女を 意味し、左右と言うときは夫と妻を意味し、前後と言うときは兄弟を意味するのです。このような全体が、何によって一つになるのでしょうか。力や知識やお金 ではありません。それでは、どのようなものでできるのでしょうか。愛です。愛も、普通の愛ではありません。真の愛です。それは間違いのない真理です。そう でなければ球形になりません。それでは、家庭における上中下とは何でしょうか。愛の教材です。宇宙の愛に接することのできる愛の教材です。それと同じこと を、社会に出てしなさいというのです。

8　愛の法を立てるために宇宙があると考えるとき、この世界がどのくらい一定に変化するでしょうか。春の季節に「チュンチュン」と鳴くすずめを見るとき、 「いやあ、私たち夫婦がすずめより優れているだろうか」と考え、つばめが餌をくわえて自分の子供に食べさせるのを見るとき、「いやあ、子をあのように愛し てあげるのが原則なのだな」と考えなければなりません。すべて同じ法です。
その母親が、おなかいっぱいでもう食べることができないので、子たちに食べさせてあげるのでしょうか。自分がおなかをすかせていても、餌をくわえて食べさ せるというのです。人間世界において、このような愛の公法をどこで見つけることができるでしょうか。先生からも見つけられず、国王からも見つけられず、夫 からも見つけられず、妻からも見つけられないのですが、それでも父母が子女を愛するところにだけは、それが残っているというのです。神様が人類を愛するそ の愛が残っているからです。ですから、父母が子女を愛する愛にだけは、それが残っているのです。

9　人がいくら優れていると言っても、春夏秋冬、四季に順応しなければなりません。冬なのに、「ああ、私は夏が好きなので、からむしの上着とチマチョゴリ を着なければならない」と考えていては、死んでしまいます。歩調を合わせなければなりません。春になれば春の服を着なければなりません。着替えなければ支 障をきたし、破綻が起きるのです。冬になれば冬の服に着替えなければなりません。
 同じように皆さんが天地の法度、天理の法度に対して、その環境と境遇において順応するだけでなく、合わせることができてこそ、天理の保護を受けるようにな るのです。そこで生き残ってこそ、生命体として永遠の宇宙の前に主体性をもてるのです。

10　宇宙は、運動の法則、力の作用の原則によって始まりました。すべてのものは宇宙の拍子に合う天運の法度に合わせていきます。その天運の法度に合わせ ていくのが何かというと、四位基台の法度です。ですから、私たちは、この四位基台の法度に自分を一致させ、四位基台の法度を擁護しなければなりません。
しかし、その結果が十分でなければ、不合格者になるのです。言い換えれば、夫婦の間でいくら良く授け良く受けるとしても、結果的存在である子女がいなけれ ば不幸なのです。なぜなら、宇宙の法度と原則が四位基台を中心として回っているのに、三位基台しかできなければ、永遠に回る四位基台の法度に反することに なるからです。そのようになれば、神様と距離が遠くなるので、自然と悲しくなるのです。

11　喜びは、どこから来るのでしょうか。心の要求に体が応じるとき生じます。心と体が完全な主体と対象になって四位基台を形成すれば、心が願うとおりに 体が動くようになります。そのような立場で喜びが来るのです。宇宙の原則である天運が擁護してくれるので、神様と出会える距離が次第に短縮されて、近くな るので喜びが生じるのです。
しかし、良心の呵責を感じることをして心の相対要素がなくなるときは、結局その主体までもなくなるのです。宇宙の原則というのは、主体だけがいると、対象 が反対しなくても追い出す力が必ず現れるようになっているのです。それが悲しみとして現れるのです。喜びと悲しみは、「私」が原因となって生じるのです。

12　胸が痛むほど悲しいときもありますが、それはなぜ悲しいのでしょうか。どのような力が「私」に作用して悲しくなるのでしょうか。それは、この宇宙の 大運勢、生命力を左右できる宇宙の公法作用のためです。ですから、この公法に一致できず反対になれば、除去されるのです。宇宙の力は押したり、引いたりし ます。宇宙の力の反対方向に押し出す力が大きければ大きいほど、喜ぶことができないのです。
 夫婦が一緒に暮らしていて、一人が先に死ねば、涙を流します。それは、宇宙の公法に不合格の基準となれば、宇宙の公的な力がその人を押し出すようになり、 そのようになれば悲しみの強度が高まるからなのです。それでは、喜びはどのように生じるのでしょうか。宇宙の公法に一致する自分になれば、宇宙の力がその 人をかき抱こうとします。その力が大きければ大きいほど強く抱き締めるようになり、強く抱けば抱くほど、その人は内的な中心に入っていくので、喜びが来る というのです。ですから、悲しみと喜びは、自分自身から始まるのではありません。これは力の原則、すなわち宇宙の公法を中心として起こるのです。

13　共存する宇宙を見つめれば、そこには必ず和合作用と反発作用があります。和合作用はより大きなところに和合しようとします。皆さんの心も和合しよう とするのですが、より大きなところに和合しようとするのです。和合するのに、ただするのではありません。回りながらするのです。二つの小さなものが、互い に好きで合わさろうとすれば、どうなるべきでしょうか。「私」自体が自分を越えて、相対を包むことのできる力があってこそ、一つになるのです。自分を越え て大きな力で抱こうとするものがあってこそ、一つになるのです。自分よりも小さくしようとするところでは、絶対に一つになりません。自分を越えてより大き なものを抱こうとする互いの作用をもてば、それは宇宙力が保護します。それが主体と対象の関係です。

14　痛みとは何でしょうか。私たちのすべての器官において、バランスを取る、ある一面が破壊されたとき、それを早く是正しなければ、宇宙が「お前は現 在、共存原則の基準において不合格者だ」と言いながら追い出すのです。その追い出す力のゆえに痛みを感じるというのです。
それでは、悲しみはなぜ起きるのでしょうか。同じです。「私」自身が平和な境地で体と心が一つになり、環境と一つになって、宇宙のより大きな世界に前進し ていくのに和合する場に立てば、そこでは宇宙が保護してくれるのです。宇宙の全体世界において互いが連結され、共存できる連体的作用圏を形成していれば、 互いが相応する立場で保護してくれるのですが、そこに相反するときは、必ず宇宙力が追い出すのです。これが悲しみに連結されるのです。

15　宇宙には、相対理念を備えていない存在は、存続することができません。相対理念を備えた人は保護します。必ず保護してくれるのです。ですから、男性 と女性が永遠の愛を中心として一つになって生きようとするときは、全宇宙が保護するのです。前後、左右からこれを侵犯する者はいません。体に授け受けする 道があるのですが、病気になるのは、その一つが詰まっているからです。プラスとマイナスの道が塞がっているのです。塞がっていれば、宇宙の不合格者です。
 相対理想を備えていてこそ保護するのですが、そのようにできなければ、不合格となったその割合に応じて一気に追いやるのです。激しく追いやる作用が痛みと して表れます。押せば痛むでしょう。病気のゆえに痛むのではありません。宇宙力のゆえに痛むのです。「お前が授受作用できず、主体と対象の和合関係を構築 しないからだ。お前の体がこの詰まったものを取り除いて和合させなければ、宇宙の廃棄物処理場に入るのだ」と警告するのです。宇宙は和合するものを保護す るようになっているのです。

Cheon Seong Gyeong Ⅱ - 244. Order and Law in the Universe

1 Earth, on which we live, is orbiting constantly around the sun in accordance with the law of the universe. The sun rotates on its axis just as Earth does. The sun, with a volume 1.3 million times greater than that of Earth, is moving constantly. There are vast galaxies in the universe whose mass is hundreds of billions of times greater than that of the solar system. Such galaxies, which we call micro-universes, constitute the countless star clusters of the universe. Considering them together, we call them the macrocosm. God, who created this enormous universe, whose radius spans billions of light-years, has moved this great universe along for millions and billions of years in accordance with unchanging laws. God is moving all these celestial bodies with a power that goes far beyond our imagination and senses. The more we think about God, who created this universe, the more we naturally come to bow our heads before His grandeur and greatness. The Creator of this great universe is our Father, who looks after us, our God who protects us, and our great living Master.( 005-342,19590308)

2 We can see that the universe is not devoid of order. It is in motion based on mathematical formulas. That is why it has been in motion without error for countless eons. The development of science today involves the development of formulas. In engineering we solve problems through mathematical formulas. Likewise, scientific civilization has developed based on formulas. A formula is the perfect organization of units. Units must be connected. A formula means that the beginning and the end connect and fit together perfectly. When you are solving a mathematical problem, you have to produce the outcome using the formula you had at the outset.( 229-266,19920413)

3 The universe is not a nebulous construct. It has order. It rotates in an orderly way. There are many types of movement, but there is one main type. It is like the movement of a major river with many tributaries. In the great universe too, centered on one axis, all movement follows the flow of the mainstream. Since our world stands at the finish line, we inevitably conclude that all the movement of the universe is centered on one purpose.( 229-266,19920413)

4 God has to be an absolute being. He has to be unique, unchanging and eternal The laws He established also have to be absolute. We come to this conclusion because this universe has continued to move for myriad years, for billions of years, according to those laws. The animal world, the plant world and the world of microorganisms continue their existence based on formulas and laws scientists can discover. Mathematics can explain all this. We find that microorganisms, animals, plants and everything in the whole universe move in an eternal orbit according to law, and this sustains their existence. So do you think it is acceptable for people, as the lords of creation, to exist randomly, with no law and order, merely counting on their fingers? That is not how it should be.( 172-035,19880103)

5 The vast universe moves according to a principle expressed as a formula. The formula is based on units and combinations of units. God created the universe from an archetype based on a formula that it follows exactly. That is why it can be expressed using mathematics. Electricity can be explained by mathematics, can't it? We can solve problems by applying mathematical formulas. Formulas involve units and quantities based on one, two and three. The units should be appropriate to the problem, and correspond to the formula. Otherwise you can't find the correct answer.( 214-019,19910201)

6 When we consider the natural world, even though we cannot see the movement of our world and the vast expanse of the universe, we know it all exists eternally following universal laws of rotation and orbits. Who knew that after summer, autumn would follow, and after autumn, winter would come? Who knew that spring would follow winter? The universe adheres to its course, maintaining its self-existence by keeping everything in orbit through all seasons.( 176-289,19880513)

7 The universe is an expansion of the family. A family has a top, middle and bottom, left and right, and front and back. This is a principle. When we talk about top and bottom, we mean parents and children; when we talk about left and right, we mean husband and wife, and when we talk about front and back, we mean elder and younger siblings. Through what do they become one? It doesn't happen through power, knowledge or money. Then what can bring it about? It is love. It is not ordinary love; it is true love. This is an absolute truth. Otherwise they cannot form a sphere. Then what do the top, middle and bottom in a family serve as? They serve as a textbook of love, a textbook through which we can encounter universal love. Having a textbook means we can go out into society and put it into practice.( 128-023,19830529)

8 If we think that the universe exists to establish the law of love, we will look at this world in a different way. What would be different? When we see a pair of sparrows chirping in the springtime, we will wonder, "Is our couple better than the sparrows?" When we see the sparrows feeding their babies, we will think, "Oh, loving our children like that is a basic principle" It is the same law for everything. Do you think a mother bird feeds her babies because she is too full to eat? She will feed her babies even if she is hungry. Where do you find this universal law of love in the world of humans? You cannot find it through your teacher; you cannot find it through your king; you cannot find it through your husband; you cannot find it through your wife. It survives only in the place where mother and father love their children. This is because parental love reflects the love of God for human beings. 9 No matter how great you are, you have to adapt to the four seasons— spring, summer, autumn and winter. In winter, if you say, "Oh, I like summer, so I will keep wearing my summer clothes," you will suffer. You have to march in step with the seasons. When spring comes, you have to wear spring clothes. Unless you change your clothes, some problem may arise or you may be caught out in some way. When winter comes, you have to wear winter clothes. Likewise, you have to follow heavenly law and adapt to the environment in order to receive the protection of the heavenly principles. If you can adapt and survive in every environment, you can face the universe from the position of an eternal subject partner.( 101-066,19781028)

10 The universe began with the principle of motion and the action of energy. Everything needs to conform to the law of heavenly fortune, which is in rhythm with the universe. The principle of the four-position foundation accords with the law of heavenly fortune. Therefore we have to support and protect the law of the four-position foundation and adapt ourselves to this law. If a robust result does not appear, it means we have not succeeded at that In other words, no matter how much a husband and wife give to and receive from each other, if they have no children, they are disappointed. The universe turns based on the four-position foundation. If you cannot accomplish anything beyond a three-position foundation, you are not one with this law. In this case you naturally will feel sad and distant from God.( 021-348,19690101)

11 Where does joy come from? It comes when the body responds to the desire of the mind. When the mind and body become perfect subject and object partners and form a perfect four-position foundation, the body moves according to the desire of the mind. This produces joy. Heavenly fortune, the principle of the universe, protects you so that you can come closer to a meeting point with God. This is why you feel happy. On the other hand, if you act against your conscience, the elements of your heart that are in relation to God will disappear, and in the end God will no longer be your subject partner. This is because, according to the principles of the universe, if the subject partner exists alone, even though the object partner does not oppose it, an energy of repulsion inevitably arises. This repelling force manifests in sorrow. I am the cause of my own joy and sorrow.( 021-347,19690101)

12 Sometimes we are so sorrowful that our heart breaks. Why is that? What force acts to make us sorrowful? Emotions arise because a universal law within the great fortune of the universe directs the life force. If you do not live in accord with universal law, if you oppose it, it will repel you. The universal energy sometimes pushes and sometimes pulls, but when it becomes a strong repelling energy, you cannot be happy. When one spouse in a married couple that is living together dies, the other cries. This is because the remaining partner cannot fit with the standard of the universal law, and so it repels him or her. The depth of sorrow only increases. Then what produces happiness? When you harmonize with the universal law, the power of the universe embraces you. The greater the harmony, the stronger it comes to embrace you. And the stronger it embraces you, the closer you will come to the internal center. That brings joy. So sorrow and joy do not arise from within you. They arise based on these principles of power, that is, the universal law.( 024-223,19690817)

13 In the universe we can see two forces at work: attraction and repulsion. Attraction arises from seeking to transform into a larger reality; our mind too is attracted to merge with the larger reality. Attraction does not occur randomly. It is generated by interaction. What attracts and unites two small things to each other? It is the surplus energy that enables the subject partner to go beyond itself and embrace its object partner. I have to go beyond myself to embrace my object partner with a greater energy. Thus it is possible for two to unite as one. If your motive to embrace is to make something smaller, then unity will never occur. Only when you try to go beyond yourself, embracing something greater, will universal power protect you. This is the relationship between subject and object partners.( 141-273,19860302)

14 What is illness? When one of our organs is out of balance and damaged, if we don't quickly correct it, the universe will repel us, saying, "You have not met the standard of the principle of co-existence." Because of that repelling force, we feel pain. Why do we feel sad? It is the same. If I am in a peaceful state, with mind and body united, harmonized with the environment and moving forward toward something greater, the universe will protect me. If I stand in a position of loving and being loved by everything around me, in this environment in which everything is connected and coexists in a correlated realm of interaction, the universe will protect me. However, if I go against this, universal energy will repel me, and I will feel sad. (141-274,19860302)

15 We cannot explain existence in this universe apart from the idea of partnership. The universe protects those who realize this idea. It protects them without fail. Thus, when a man and woman strive to unite and live together as one, based on eternal love, the whole universe will protect them. No one can invade from any direction. Within our body there are paths of giving and receiving. Being ill means one of these paths is blocked. If the plus or minus path is blocked, we do not meet the universes standard. The universe protects us when we realize the ideal of partnership, but the universal force will repel us to whatever degree we fail to match that ideal. Repelling force appears as pain. If I poke you, it hurts, doesn't it? Pain is not caused by illness but by universal energy. It is a warning: "You feel this way because you did not succeed in giving and receiving, or in creating a harmonious relationship between subject and object partners. Unless you release that which is blocked and create harmony, you will have no place in the universe." The universe protects that which is in harmony.( 197-030,19900107)
