[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 역대상18장

1. 이제 이 일 후에 다윗이 블레셋 사람들을 쳐서 정복하고 블레셋 사람들의 손에서 가드와 그것의 고을들을 빼앗았으며

Now after this it came to pass, that David smote the Philistines, and subdued them, and took Gath and her towns out of the hand of the Philistines.

2. 또 모압을 치매 모압 족속이 다윗의 종이 되어 예물을 가져오니라.

And he smote Moab; and the Moabites became Davids servants, [and] brought gifts.

3. 소바 왕 하달에셀이 유프라테스 강가에서 자기의 통치권을 굳게 세우러 갈 때에 다윗이 그를 쳐서 하맛에까지 이르렀으며

And David smote Hadarezer king of Zobah unto Hamath, as he went to stablish his dominion by the river Euphrates. 

4. 그에게서 병거 천 대와 기병 칠천 명과 보병 이만 명을 빼앗고 또 모든 병거의 말은 다리의 힘줄을 끊되 다만 그것들 중에서 백 대만 남겼더라.

And David took from him a thousand chariots, and seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen: David also houghed all the chariot [horses], but reserved of them an hundred chariots. 

5. 다마스커스의 시리아 사람들이 소바 왕 하달에셀을 도우러 왔을 때에 다윗이 시리아 사람들 중에서 이만 이천 명을 죽이고

And when the Syrians of Damascus came to help Hadarezer king of Zobah, David slew of the Syrians two and twenty thousand men. 

6. 그 뒤에 시리아다마스커스에 수비대를 두매 시리아 사람들이 다윗의 종이 되어 예물을 가져오니라. 다윗이 어디를 가든지 {주}께서 이같이 그를 보존하시니라.

Then David put [garrisons] in Syriadamascus; and the Syrians became Davids servants, [and] brought gifts. Thus the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.

7. 다윗이 하달에셀의 신하들에게 있던 금 방패들을 빼앗아 예루살렘으로 가져오고

And David took the shields of gold that were on the servants of Hadarezer, and brought them to Jerusalem.

8. 또 이와 같이 하달에셀의 도시 디브핫과 군에서 심히 많은 놋을 가져왔더니 솔로몬이 그 놋으로 놋 바다와 기둥들과 놋그릇들을 만들었더라.

Likewise from Tibhath, and from Chun, cities of Hadarezer, brought David very much brass, wherewith Solomon made the brasen sea, and the pillars, and the vessels of brass. 

9. 이제 하맛 왕 도우가 다윗이 소바 왕 하달에셀의 온 군대를 쳤다는 것을 듣고는

Now when Tou king of Hamath heard how David had smitten all the host of Hadarezer king of Zobah; 

10. 자기 아들 하도람을 다윗 왕에게 보내어 그의 안부를 묻고 축하하게 하였으니 (이는 하달에셀이 도우와 전쟁을 하던 때에) 다윗이 하달에셀과 싸워 그를 쳤기 때문이더라. 하도람이 금과 은과 놋으로 된 온갖 그릇을 가져오니라.

He sent Hadoram his son to king David, to enquire of his welfare, and to congratulate him, because he had fought against Hadarezer, and smitten him; had war with Tou; and [with him] all manner of vessels of gold and silver and brass. 

11. 다윗 왕이 그것들도 {주}께 봉헌하되 에돔과 모압과 암몬 자손과 블레셋 사람들과 아말렉 등 이 모든 민족에게서 자기가 가져온 은과 금과 함께 봉헌하니라.

Them also king David dedicated unto the LORD, with the silver and the gold that he brought from all [these] nations; from Edom, and from Moab, and from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines, and from Amalek.

12. 또 스루야의 아들 아비새가 소금 골짜기에서 에돔 족속 만 팔천 명을 죽이니라.

Moreover Abishai the son of Zeruiah slew of the Edomites in the valley of salt eighteen thousand. 

13. 다윗이 에돔에 수비대를 두매 온 에돔 족속이 다윗의 종이 되니라. 다윗이 어디를 가든지 {주}께서 이같이 그를 보존하시니라.

And he put garrisons in Edom; and all the Edomites became Davids servants. Thus the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.

14. 다윗이 이같이 온 이스라엘을 통치하며 자기의 온 백성 가운데서 공의와 정의를 집행하였더라.

So David reigned over all Israel, and executed judgment and justice among all his people.

15. 스루야의 아들 요압은 군대를 다스리는 자가 되고 아힐룻의 아들 여호사밧은 기록관이 되며

And Joab the son of Zeruiah [was] over the host; and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, recorder. 

16. 아히둡의 아들 사독과 아비아달의 아들 아비멜렉은 제사장이 되고 사브사는 서기관이 되며

And Zadok the son of Ahitub, and Abimelech the son of Abiathar, [were] the priests; and Shavsha was scribe; 

17. 여호야다의 아들 브나야는 그렛 족속과 블렛 족속을 다스리는 자가 되고 다윗의 아들들은 왕을 모시는 우두머리가 되니라.

And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada [was] over the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and the sons of David [were] chief about the king.
