천성경 (증) - 264. 3시대의 삶


1 나는 3대 부모를 통해 태어났습니다. 첫째는 물질세계가 부모입니다. 물질의 세계에서 모든 요소를 빼서 물질의 중심으로서, 물질의 복합적인 존재로서 나를 만들었습니다. 이런 관점에서 그 물질원소 자체가 나를 낳아 준 조상이기도 하고, 나의 연장이 물질세계이기도 합니다. 이 물질은 사랑이상의 자리에서만 안착하게끔 우주가 되어 있습니다. 사랑이상의 자리에서 모든 세포들이 편안하게 살게 되어 있습니다. 만일 성내게 되면 전부 뒤틀어져 돌아가 버립니다. 둘째는 내 몸을 낳아 준 부모가 부모입니다. 나를 낳아 준 부모가 나로 하여금 하나의 형태를 갖추어 태어날 수 있게끔 만들었습니다. 그러나 이 부모는 아무리 해도 사랑의 주인이 될 수 없습니다. 내 생명의 주인은 될 수 있지만 사랑의 주인은 될 수 없습니다. 사랑의 주인은 하나님입니다. 사랑을 우주화시키고 사랑을 영원화시키기 위해 하나님이 계시는 것입니다. 하나님은 사랑의 주체이기 때문에 사랑을 중심삼고 부모가 되어 있습니다. 그러므로 셋째는 하나님이 부모입니다. 이렇게 우리는 3대 부모를 갖고 있는 것입니다.

복중·지상·천상의 3시대 인생길
2 인간의 일생은 복중시대 10개월, 육신시대 100년, 그리고 영혼시대 천년만년 영원히 살아갑니다. 우리 얼굴을 보면 입, 코, 눈의 3단계로 되어 있는데, 이것은 인간이 살아가는 3시대의 모습을 보여 줍니다. 입은 물질세계인 복중시대를 상징하고, 코는 사람세계인 지상시대를, 눈은 영계의 천상시대를 상징합니다. 어머니 복중의 물속은 아기에게는 바로 자유천지입니다. 어머니 복중에서는 항상 등을 구부리고 있어야 되고, 또 마음대로 발길질도 못하고 코도 입도 다 막혀 있지만 이곳이 아기에게는 자유천지입니다. 아기에게 필요한 모든 것을 공급하는 파이프가 배꼽에 달려 있어서 배꼽 줄로만 숨을 쉬어야 하지만 그런 세계가 아기에게는 자유천지라는 것입니다.

3 여러분이 복중에서 ‘나는 육지 세상에 나가 입으로 꿀도 먹고 떡도 먹고 밥도 먹고 쇠고기도 먹고 다 먹는다.’라고 생각해 봤습니까? ‘여기를 벗어나면 죽는다.’라고 하면서 탯줄로 숨 쉬며 살고 있는 것입니다. 지금 그것을 생각하면 질식할 정도입니다. 그런데도 뱃속에서 밖으로 나갈까 봐 ‘안 나가면 좋겠다!’라고 한다는 것입니다. 그렇지만 때가 되면 다 터져 나갑니다. 물이 확 터져 나오면 그 물을 따라 밖으로 나와 순산이 됩니다. 잘 태어나는 것입니다.

4 지상생활은 공기 중에서 태 안에서처럼 헤엄치고 다니며 사는 것과 마찬가지입니다. 공기 보자기 안에서 살고 있는 것입니다. 죽음은 제3의 인생으로 출생하는 것입니다. 그 순간이 죽는 시간입니다. 잠자리도 처음에는 유충이 되어서 물속에서 헤엄치고 다니다가 땅 위에 올라와서 한동안 기어 다닙니다. 그다음에는 훌훌 날아다니며 땅에서는 먹으리라고 생각지도 못하던 벌레를 잡아먹습니다. 천하를 자기 무대로 삼고 날아다니는 것입니다. 곤충류 가운데는 3단계 세계를 거치는 것이 많습니다. 곤충은 대개 날개가 있습니다. 곤충도 이와 같이 물에서, 육지에서, 공중에서 사는데, 만물의 영장이라는 인간이 지상에서만 살면 되겠습니까? 차원 높은 날개가 있는 것입니다.

5 복중시대는 수중시대입니다. 아기가 어머니의 태 안에 있을 때는 물 가운데 둥둥 떠 있습니다. 얼른 생각하면 어머니의 뱃속시대에는 숨이 막혀서 살기 힘들 것처럼 느껴집니다. 물속에 살고 있으니 당연히 물을 들이마시고 내보내는 일을 해야 되지 않겠습니까? 그것을 위해서 복중의 아기는 호스를 배에다 연결하고 사는 것입니다. 복중의 아기는 영양분을 어디를 통해서 공급받습니까? 배꼽에 달린 탯줄을 통해서 받습니다. 배꼽은 복중의 아기에게는 입입니다.

6 어머니의 복중에서 아기는 호흡을 하는데, 무엇으로 합니까? 배꼽 줄로 호흡합니다. 이것이 어머니의 몸과 연결된 호스입니다. 그렇지만 제2 세계, 공기세계에 연결된 것을 알고 있습니다. 복중에서 살다가 차 버리고 나오면 파괴입니다. 그때는 울음과 동시에 숨을 쉬게 되어 있는 숨구멍, 콧구멍이 공기세계에 연결됩니다. 콧구멍이 절대 보급로입니다. 복중에서 공기세계를 위해서 살았는데, 그것을 연결시켜 나올 때는 복중세계에서 살던 탯줄과 물주머니 등을 다 파괴하고 나와야 됩니다. 복중의 탯줄은 파괴되는 것입니다. 그와 동시에 우주, 지구성 어머니한테 나타납니다. 입으로 원소를 보급받아서 사는 것입니다. 이 몸은 복중에서 탯줄로 숨 쉬는 것과 마찬가지로 공기 파이프인 콧구멍을 통해 숨 쉬기 위해 그것을 준비해서 공기세계로 나올 때에 바꿔서 숨을 쉬는 것입니다.

7 이 세계에 태어나서 해야 할 것은 사랑을 체휼하는 일입니다. 사랑이라는 공기를 들이마셔야 됩니다. 어머니 아버지로부터 사랑의 공기를 들이마셔야 됩니다. 사랑의 공기를 공급받아 거쳐 가야 됩니다. 한 가정에 아기로 태어났다가 사인(Sine) 곡선과 마찬가지로 올라갔으면 내려와야 합니다. 아기로 태어났다가 그다음에 분해됩니다. 아기로 태어났다가 아기로 돌아가는 것입니다. 그렇게 될 때는 어떻게 되느냐? 제2 복중세계를 차 버리고 제3 사랑세계의 호흡기관에 연결되어야 합니다. 부모의 사랑, 형제의 사랑을 차 버리고 대우주의 하나님 본체에 화한 사랑의 세계로 들어갑니다. 영계는 사랑의 공기로 꽉 차 있습니다. 그렇기 때문에 여러분은 지금 이 지상세계에서 사랑의 숨을 쉴 수 있는 파이프 장치를 해야 됩니다. 그래서 영계의 체험이 필요하고, 영적 사랑을 느껴 호흡할 수 있는 사람이 되어야 합니다.

8 어머니의 뱃속과 같은 이 지구성을 차 버리고 나설 때 여러분은 사랑의 호흡기관으로, 사랑의 숨구멍으로 숨을 쉽니다. 제3의 사랑이 이어져야만 영생을 얻습니다. 그렇게 사랑을 연결시켜 하나님에게로 돌아가는 것입니다. 사랑의 호흡기관에 연결되어 영계로 돌아가지만 하나님 본체로 돌아갈 길이 남아 있는 것입니다. 씨가 본체에서 나왔으니까 결과를 맺어서 본체로 돌아가야 됩니다.

9 인간을 보면 복중시대는 물의 세계입니다. 인간의 약 4분의 3은 물입니다. 지상세계는 공기세계입니다. 그렇기 때문에 물 가운데 있을 때는 눈·귀·코 등 오관이 필요 없습니다. 복중에서 10개월 자랄 때 코로 숨 쉬어 봤습니까? 코로 숨 쉬었다가는 죽어 버립니다. 즉살입니다. 코가 왜 필요합니까? 차기 세계를 준비하는 것입니다. 그다음 지상세계에서는 물 보자기가 아니라 공기 보자기입니다. 공기 보자기에서는 뭘 해야 됩니까? 물 보자기에서는 오관을 준비했던 것처럼 공기 보자기에서는 영적 오관을 준비해야 됩니다. 하늘나라에 가서 사랑을 흡수할 수 있는 귀와 눈과 코, 영적 오관을 준비해서 죽음의 고개를 넘게 될 때 그것이 열린다는 것입니다. 무한한 세계에서 필요한 것이 영적 오관입니다.

10 물은 복중시대를 상징합니다. 그다음에 지상은 공기시대입니다. 어머니 뱃속에서 태어나 공기시대에서 사는 것입니다. 그다음에 영계는 눈 시대입니다. 태양시대, 햇빛시대입니다. 사랑은 빛이라고도 말합니다. 밝아진다고 했습니다. 그래서 빛의 세계입니다. 이렇게 인간은 3시대를 거쳐 삽니다. 잠자리도 물에서 살다가 땅에 가서 살고, 그러다가 껍데기를 벗고 날아다니면서 벌레를 잡아먹습니다. 3시대를 거칩니다. 만물의 영장도 마찬가지입니다. 복중시대에서, 어머니 뱃속에서 나올 때 자기가 살던 살림살이를 부둥켜안고 나옵니까, 다 파괴하고 잘라 버리고 나옵니까? 하나라도 달고 나오면 큰일 납니다. 탯줄로 먹고 숨을 쉬었는데, 그것을 잘라 버리면 죽게 됩니다. 그렇지만 어머니 뱃속에서 나오게 되면 그것을 잘라 버려야 됩니다. 무자비하게 잘라 버려야 됩니다. 다 파괴하고 나오는 것입니다.

11 인간은 때가 되면 누구나 어머니의 복중생활을 청산하고 지상계의 생을 시작하게 되어 있습니다. 본인이 원하든 원치 않든 우주의 법칙이 그렇게 운행하고 있습니다. 상상도 못하고 꿈도 못 꾸었던 광대무변의 새로운 세계가 펼쳐지는 것입니다. 수중생활 한평생이 끝나고 지상생활 한평생이 전개됩니다. 복중생활 10개월이 지상생활 100년으로 변화하고 발전하는 것입니다. 그리하여 인간은 각양각색의 변화무쌍한 삶을 살아가면서 마지막 단계인 영계, 즉 사후의 세계를 준비하는 삶을 살게 됩니다. 그러니 죽는 것을 걱정하지 말라는 것입니다. 더 좋은 곳으로 이사 가는 것입니다.

12 복중생활 기간에는 지상계의 삶을 상상도 할 수 없었던 것처럼, 육신을 쓰고 사는 인간으로서는 상상도 할 수 없는 영원무궁한 또 다른 세계가 기다리고 있습니다. 절망의 세계가 아닙니다. 한정된 지상계에서의 100년간의 삶이 시간과 공간을 초월한 영원한 세계로 탈바꿈하는 것입니다. 복중에서는 탯줄을 통해 모체로부터 영양을 공급받고 살다가 지상생활 기간에는 우주의 물과 공기 그리고 빛, 3대 기본요소와 영양소를 중심삼고 삶을 영위하지만, 일단 영계에 들어가면 물질적 영양소는 더 이상 필요로 하지 않고 사랑을 호흡하면서 영생하는 것입니다. 저나라에 가게 되면 먹고 싶으면 먹고 안 먹고 싶으면 안 먹습니다. 이처럼 인간은 누구를 막론하고 수중생활 10개월, 지상생활 100년, 그리고 영계에서의 영생, 이렇게 3단계의 생을 살게 되어 있습니다.

13 수중시대, 그다음에는 육지시대, 빛시대입니다. 이것을 보면 사람은 3시대를 사는데, 하나의 범주에 들어가 있습니다. 태양을 중심삼고 보면 태양계는 낮입니다. 지구성은 밤낮이 있습니다. 그러나 영계는 언제나 밝습니다. 이렇게 물시대와 공기시대, 그다음에는 사랑시대입니다. 사랑은 언제나 꺼져서는 안 됩니다. 태양 빛과 같이 밤이나 낮이나 사랑이 있어야 됩니다. 아침이나 점심이나 저녁이나, 북극이나 열대지방이나 남극이나 어디나 사랑은 변하지 않습니다. 그래서 사랑시대의 영계에 가는 것입니다. 영계는 춘하추동의 모든 열매맺은 것을 거두는 창고와 같은 곳인데, 그곳이 태양 빛과 같이 빛난다는 것입니다.

14 우리는 처음에 어머니 태 속에 있었습니다. 그 태는 우리를 기르던 보자기입니다. 그 보자기 속에서 나올 때 전부 차서 끊어 버리고 태어나는 것과 마찬가지로, 우리 영인체에 대해 육신은 보자기와 같기 때문에 이것을 끊어 버리고 날아가는 것입니다. 그러므로 인간은 결국 물의 세계, 육지의 세계를 거쳐 공중 빛의 세계인 영원한 참사랑의 세계에서 살게 되는 것입니다. 영계에서는 생명요소가 사랑이므로 사랑을 통한 명령에는 모든 것이 불가능 없이 즉각적으로 이루어집니다. 거기에서는 억만인이 한꺼번에 저녁을 먹는다 해도 거기에 맞는 음식을 준비해서 순식간에 잔치를 할 수 있습니다.

15 영계에 비추는 그 빛이 참사랑의 빛입니다. 참사랑은 영계 육계의 햇빛과 같은 것입니다. 그렇기 때문에 코의 생활을 떠나서 눈의 생활과 같이하고 사는 것입니다. 눈의 생활은 모든 것을 확실하게 모르는 것이 없습니다. 코 세계를 지나면 빛 세계입니다. 눈 세계로 들어가는 것입니다. 눈 세계는 무엇이냐 하면, 이 눈은 세상도 보지만 영계도 봅니다. 하늘부모도 볼 수 있고, 지상 부모도 볼 수 있고, 하늘나라가 얼마나 방대하고 지상나라와 비교해 어떻다는 것을 다 보고 살게 되어 있습니다. 그렇기 때문에 여러분은 영계와 지상이 둘이 아니라 하나라는 것을 알아야 됩니다. 이 눈은 둘을 보게 돼 있습니다.

天聖経 (增) - 265. 三時代の人生

1　「私」は、「三大父母」を通して生まれました。最初は物質世界の父母です。自分は、物質の世界からすべての要素を受け継いで、物質の中心とし て、物質の複含的な存在として造られました。このような観点から、その物質の元素自体が「私」を生んでくれた先祖でもあり、また自分の延長が物質世界でも あります。宇宙は、この物質が愛の理想の立場においてのみ安着するようにできています。愛の理想の立場で、すべての細胞が平穏に生きられるようになってい ます。もし腹を立てたりすれば、みなぶつかり合うようになってしまいます。
 二番目は、自分の体を生んでくれた父母です。自分を生んでくれた父母が、自分をして一つの形態を備えて生まれてこれるようにしました。しかし、この父母 は、どんなに頑張っても愛の主人になることはできません。自分の生命の主人にはなれますが、愛の主人にはなれません。愛の主人は神様です。愛を宇宙化さ せ、愛を永遠化させるために神様はいらっしゃるのです。神様は愛の主体であられるので、愛を中心として父母になっています。ですから、三番目は、神様が父 母です。このように、私たちは三大父母をもっているのです。

腹中、地上、天上の三時代の人生の道
2　人間は、腹中時代の十カ月、肉身時代の百年、そして霊魂時代を千年、万年、永遠に生きていきます。私たちの顔を見れば、目、鼻、口の三段階になってい ますが、これは人間が生きていく三時代の姿を見せてくれているのです。口は物質世界の腹中時代を象徴し、鼻は人間世界の地上時代を、目は霊界の天上時代を 象徴しています。母のおなかの羊水の中は、赤ん坊にとって正に自由天地です。母のおなかの中ではいつも背中を曲げていなければならず、また勝手に足蹴りも できず、鼻も口もみな塞がっているのですが、胎児にはここが自由天地だというのです。胎児に必要なものをすべて供給するパイプがへそについていて、へそだ けで生きていかなければなりませんが、そのような世界が赤ん坊には自由天地なのです。


3　皆さんが腹中で、「私は陸地の世の中に出て、口で蜜も食べ、餅も食べ、御飯も食べ、牛肉も食べ、すべて食べる」と考えてみましたか。「ここを抜け出た ら死ぬ」と思いながら、へその緒を通じて生きているのです。今それを思えば、息が詰まります。それにもかかわらず、腹の中から外に出るのが心配で、「出な ければよい！」と思うのです。しかし、時になれば、すべて出ていきます。破水すれば、その水によって外に出て、出産になります。無事に生まれるのです。


4　地上生活は、胎内にいた時のように、空気中で動き回って暮らすのと同じです。空気のふろしきの中で生きています。死は、第三の人生に向かって出生する ことです。その瞬間が死ぬ時です。とんぼも、初めは幼虫になって水中で泳ぎ回っていますが、地上に上がってきて、一時は這い回ります。その次には、パタパ タと飛び回り、地上では食べようとは思わなかった虫を取って食べます。天下を自分の舞台にして飛び回るのです。昆虫の中には、三段階の世界を経るものが多 いのです。昆虫には、ほとんど羽があります。昆虫もこのように水の中で生き、陸地で生き、空中で生きるのですが、万物の霊長である私たち人間が、地上で生 きるだけでよいでしょうか。次元の高い羽があるというのです。


5　腹中時代は水中時代です。赤ん坊が母親の胎内にいるときは、水の中でぷかぷか浮いています。母親のおなかの中の時代は、息が詰まって生活しづらいよう に感じられます。水の中で暮らしているので、当然、水を飲み込み、送り出すことをしなければならないのではないですか。そのために腹中の胎児は、ホースを おなかに連結して暮らすのです。腹中の胎児は、どこを通して栄養分が供給されますか。へそについたへその緒を通して受けます。へそは、腹中の胎児にとって は口なのです。


6　母の腹中にいる胎児は、何で生きていくのですか。へその緒です。これが母の体とつながったホースです。しかし、第二の世界、空気の世界につながってい ることを知っています。腹中で暮らしたのちに、それを壊して出てくれば、その時は、泣くと同時に息ができるようになっている呼吸の穴、鼻の穴が空気の世界 につながるのです。鼻の穴が絶対補給路です。
 腹中で、空気の世界のために準備したのですが、それを連結させて出てくる時は、腹中の世界で暮らしたへその緒と羊膜を、すべて破壊して出てこなければなり ません。腹中のへその緒は破壊されるのです。それと同時に、宇宙にある地球星という母の懐に現れます。口から栄養を補給されて生きるのです。腹中でへその 緒を通して栄養補給するのと同じように、この体は、空気のパイプである鼻の穴を通して息をするのです。腹中でその準備をして、空気世界に出てくる時に、そ れに切り替えて息をするのです。


7　地上世界に生まれてからすべきことは、愛を体恤することです。愛という空気を吸わなければなりません。父母から、愛の空気を吸わなければなりません。 愛の空気を供給されていかなければなりません。ある家庭の赤ん坊として生まれ、サインカーブのように、上がれば下がらなければなりません。赤ん坊として生 まれて、その次には分解されます。赤ん坊として生まれて、赤ん坊に帰るのです。
その時は、どのようになるのでしょうか。第二の地上世界を振り払って、第三の愛の世界の呼吸器宮につながらなければなりません。父母の愛、兄弟の愛を振り 払い、大宇宙の神様の本体と和合した愛の世界に入ります。霊界は、愛の空気でいっぱいに満ちています。ですから、皆さんは、今この地上世界で愛の息ができ るパイプ装置を準備しなければなりません。それで、霊界の体験が必要なのであり、霊的愛を感じて呼吸できる人にならなければなりません。


8　母のおなかの中のような地球星を振り払って出てくるとき、皆さんは愛の呼吸器官で、愛の息の穴で呼吸をします。第三の愛を受け継いでこそ、永生を得る のです。そのように愛を連結させて神様に帰るのです。愛の呼吸器官に連結されて霊界に帰りますが、神様の本体に帰る道が残っているのです。種が本体から出 てきたので、実を結んで本体に帰っていかなければなりません。


9　人間を見れば、腹中時代は水の世界です。人間の約三分の二は水です。地上世界は空気の世界です。ですから、水の中にいる時は、目、鼻、口など五官が必 要ありません。腹中の十ヵ月間で成長するとき、鼻で呼吸してみましたか。鼻で呼吸しては死んでしまいます。即死です。どうして鼻が必要なのですか。次の世 界のために準備するのです。その次の地上世界では、水のふろしきではなく、空気のふろしきです。空気のふろしきでは何をしなければなりませんか。水のふろ しきでは肉身の五官を準備したように、空気のふろしきでは霊的五官を準備しなければなりません。天国に行って愛を吸収できる耳と目と鼻、霊的五官を準備し て、死の峠を越える時にそれが開かれるのです。無限の世界で必要なのが霊的五官です。


10　人間の顔は、三時代を象徴します。母親の腹中は口の時代です。次に、地上は鼻の時代です。母親の腹中から生まれて空気の時代を生きるのです。それか ら、霊界は目の時代です。太陽時代、日の光の時代です。愛は光とも言います。明るくなると言いました。それで、光の世界です。このように、人間は三時代を 経て生きるのです。とんぼも、水の中で暮らして、地上に上がって生き、殻を脱いで飛び回りながら、虫を捕まえて食べます。三時代を経ます。


 万物の霊長も同様です。腹中時代から、母親のおなかの中から出てくるとき、自分が暮らしていた所帯道具を抱えて出てきますか。すべて破壊し、捨てて出てき ますか。一つでもぶら下げて出てくれば大変なことになります。へその緒で食べ、生きていたのですが、それを切ってしまえば死ぬようになります。
しかし、母親のおなかの中から出てくれば、それを切ってしまわなければなりません。無慈悲に切ってしまわなければならないのです。すべて破壊して出てくる のです。


11　人間は、時になれば誰でも母親の腹中での生活を清算して、地上界での生涯を始めるようになっています。本人が願おうと願うまいと、宇宙の法則がその ように運行しています。想像もできず、夢にも見ることができなかった広大無辺の新しい世界が広がるのです。水中生活の一生涯が終わり、地上生活の一生涯が 展開します。腹中生活の十ヵ月が地上生活の百年に変わり、発展するのです。
そして人間は、色とりどりの変化無双な生涯を生きていきながら、最終段階である霊界、すなわち死後の世界のために準備する生活を送るようになります。です から、死ぬことを心配してはいけないというのです。もっと良い所に引っ越しするのです。


12　腹中生活の期間には、地上界の生活が想像もできなかったように、肉身をもって暮らす人間としては想像もできない永遠無窮な、また別の世界が待ってい ます。絶望の世界ではありません。限定された地上界での百年の生涯が、時間と空間を超越した永遠の世界へと変貌するのです。
 腹中では、へその緒を通して母体から栄養を供給されて生き、地上生活の期間は、宇宙の水と空気、そして光の三大基本要素と栄養素を中心として生を営むので すが、一旦霊界に入っていけば、物質的な栄養素はそれ以上必要なく、愛を呼吸しながら永生するのです。あの国に行けば、食べたければ食べ、食べたくなけれ ば食べません。このように人間は、誰彼を問わず、水中生活十カ月、地上生活百年、そして霊界においての永生、このように三段階の生涯を生きるようになって います。


13　人間は、水中時代、その次には陸地時代、さらに太陽の時代の三時代を生きるようになっています。これが一つの範疇になっています。太陽の時代は、昼 のようにいつも明るいのです。地球星には昼と夜がありますが、霊界は常に明るいのです。このように水の時代と空気の時代、その次には愛の時代です。愛は、 常に消えてはいけません。太陽の光のように、夜も昼も愛がなければなりません。朝も昼も夜も、北極も熱帯地方も南極も、どこでも愛は変わりません。それ で、愛の時代の霊界に行くのです。霊界は、春夏秋冬のすべてが結実したものを収める倉庫のような所であり、そこが太陽の光のように輝いているのです。


14　私たちは初め、母の胎内にいました。その胎が私たちを育てたふろしきです。そのふろしきの中から出てくるとき、すべて振り払って生まれるのと同じよ うに、私たちの霊人体にとって肉身はふろしきのようなものなので、これを切ってしまって飛んでいくのです。したがって、人間は、水の世界、陸地の世界を経 て、空中の光の世界である永遠の真の愛の世界で暮らすようになるのです。
 霊界では生命の要素が愛なので、愛を通じた命令には、すべてに不可能がなく、即座に成し遂げられます。そこでは、億万人が一度に夕食を食べるとしても、そ こに合う食べ物をあっという間に準備して、宴会をすることができます。


15　霊界で照らすその光が、真の愛の光です。真の愛は、霊界と肉界の日の光のようなものです。ですから、鼻の生活を離れて、目の生活をして生きるので す。目の生活は、すべてのものがはっきりしていて、分からないものがありません。鼻の世界を過ぎれば、光の世界です。目の世界に入っていくのです。目の世 界とは何かというと、この目は、世の中も見ますが、霊界も見ます。天の父母も見ることができ、地上の父母も見ることができ、天国がどれほど膨大で、地上の 国と比べてどうだということをすべて見て生きるようになっています。
ですから、皆さんは、霊界と地上が二つではなく、一体だということを知らなければなりません。この目は、二つを見るようになっているのです。

Cheon Seong Gyeong Ⅱ - 265. The Three Stages of Life 


1 We were born through three great parents. The first parent is the material world. We were created as the center of the material realm, as composite material beings made from every essential element extracted from the material world. From this viewpoint, these material elements are our ancestors that gave us birth and the material world is an expansion of each of us. The universe is such that material entities can reach fruition only when aligned with the ideal of love. All cells are meant to live comfortably, regulated by the ideal of love. If they were to get upset at each other, everything would go awry. The second parent is the term for our natural parents who gave us birth in the flesh. They enabled us to be born with a definite form. However, no matter how hard they try, those parents cannot become the owners of love. They can be the owners of our life but not the owners of love. The owner of love is God. God exists in the universality and eternality of love, because He is the subject partner of love, the Parent centered on love. Thus, our third Parent is God. In this way, we have three great parents. (298-304, 1999.01.17)

Life goes through three periods 
2 Human beings live for ten months in the womb, a hundred years in this physical world and for eternity in the spirit world. Our face has three levels: the mouth, the nose and the eyes. These represent the three ages of human life. Our mouth symbolizes the age in the womb, the material world. Our nose represents the age on the earth, the earthly, human world, and our eyes represent the age of heaven, the spirit world. The water in the womb of the mother is a universe of freedom for the baby. Even though the baby has to stay hunched up at all times and cannot kick wherever it pleases, and its nose and mouth are blocked, that place is still a universe of freedom for the baby. The vessel that supplies the baby with all that it needs joins at the navel, and the baby can breathe only through that umbilical cord. Yet that world is still a universe of freedom for the baby. 3 When you were in the womb, did you have thoughts such as, “I will go out into the world and eat honey, rice cakes, rice, beef and everything else with this mouth”? No, in fact, you were breathing through the umbilical cord and thinking, “If I leave this place, I will die!” To us it seems that a fetus should feel stifled and yet the baby in the womb is anxious about going out, and says, “I wish I didn’t have to leave.” Nevertheless, when the time comes and the water breaks, everything comes rushing out. Naturally, along with the gush of the amniotic fluid, the baby is safely delivered and everything is fine. (49-287, 1971.10.17)

4 Life on earth is analogous to life in the womb, for here we are surrounded by air, just as we lived bathing in the waters of the womb. We are living in an air pocket. The very moment we think of as the hour of death is actually our birth into our third life. Dragonflies start out as larva, and as such they swim in the water; then they come out onto the land and crawl for a time. Then they fly freely to and fro, feeding on insects they had never even thought of eating while they were living on land. They fly around with the entire world as their stage. Many insects develop through three stages of life. Most insects have wings. Considering the fact that even insects live in the water, on land and in the air, would it do if we human beings, who are the lords of creation, lived only on land? We have wings of a higher dimension. (49-288, 1971.10.17)

5 The period in the womb is the age of water. A baby inside the mother’s womb is floating in water. Simply considered, we may feel that the baby would find it difficult to live in the mother’s womb because it is constricted. Isn’t it obvious that the baby would have to take in and pass water, since it is living in water? For that reason, babies in the womb live by virtue of the conduit connected to their stomach. By what means is the baby in the womb supplied with nutrients? It is through the umbilical cord connected to the navel. For the baby in the womb, its navel is its mouth. (299-069, 1999.02.04)

6 A baby in its mother’s womb breathes, but through what? It is through the umbilical cord, which is connected to the mother’s body. However, we know that the baby is also connected to the second world, the world of air. After its time in the womb the baby pushes out, and everything behind it is destroyed. At the moment the baby cries for the first time its windpipe and nostrils, designed for breathing air, embrace that world of air. The nostrils are the wonderful supply route. While in the womb the baby prepared for the world of air, but in the process of coming out and connecting to that world, the umbilical cord and the amniotic sac—in short, everything that enabled it to live in the womb—are destroyed. The umbilical cord used in the womb is destroyed. At the same time, the baby appears in this universe and meets its Mother Earth. Then it begins to live on elements supplied through its mouth. The body breathed through the umbilical cord while in the womb. To be able to breathe through the nostrils, the air pipes, the body prepares them in advance so that when the baby comes out into the world of air it can change its mode of respiration. 7 You are born on earth in order to experience love. You need to breathe in the air we call love. You need to breathe the air of love from your mother and father. You should go through everything in life while being supplied with the air of love. Once you are born as a baby in a family, you need to follow a path similar to a sine curve, going up along the curve and coming down. You are born as a baby and eventually, over time, your body breaks down. You are born as a baby, and you go back to being a baby again. When this takes place, what is about to happen? You will detach yourself from the world of the second womb and connect yourself to the respiratory organs of the third world of love. You leave behind your loving parents and siblings and enter the world of love that is in total harmony with the Original Being of the great cosmos, God. The spirit world is filled with air of love. Therefore, while you live in the earthly world, you should equip yourself with a supply line that will enable you to breathe that love. Hence, you need to have experiences with the spirit world. You need to develop into someone who can feel love spiritually and breathe the air of love. (139-213, 1986.01.31)

8 When we leave this planet Earth, which is like our mother’s womb, and pass on, we will breathe with the respiratory organs of love, that is, with our windpipe of love. We can gain eternal life only when we connect to the third age of love. By connecting to that love, we can return to God. We return to the spirit world by binding to the respiratory organs of love. Yet we still have some distance to traverse to return to God, the Original Being. Because the Original Being is the origin of the seed, it must return to Him after bearing fruit. 9 The womb, in which we all spend time, is a world of water. The human body is three-quarters water. This earthly world is the world of air. Yet your eyes, ears, nose and other sensory organs designed for life in this world of air are not needed while you are surrounded by water. Did you breathe even once through your nose during the months you spent growing in the womb? Had you tried to do so, you would have died instantly. Why then does a fetus need a nose? It is there because you are preparing for the next world. In the next world, the earthly world, you live in an air pocket, not a water pocket. What should you do in an air pocket? Just as you prepared your five physical sense organs while living in the water pocket, when you are living in the air pocket you need to prepare your five spiritual sense organs. You prepare the five spiritual sense organs, corresponding to the ears, eyes, nose, and so on, through which you can absorb love when you are in the heavenly world. When you cross the hill of death, those sense organs open up. You will need those five spiritual sense organs in the infinite world. (302-167, 1999.06.13)

10 Water symbolizes the age in the womb. Next, the earth is the age of air. We are born from our mother’s womb and then we live in the age of air. Next, the spirit world is the age of the eyes. It is the age of the sun, the age of sunlight. Love can be said to be light, because it illuminates, and so it is the realm of light. Human life has three stages. A dragonfly first lives in water, emerges and lives on land and then sheds its skin and flies around feeding on other insects. It passes through three distinct periods. This is also true for us as the lords of creation. When our time in our mother’s womb concludes, do we come out embracing everything we used there, or do we separate from it, our connection to it destroyed? If we were to remain tied in any way when we came out, we would be in serious trouble. Conversely, if the umbilical cord were severed while we still needed to eat and breathe through it, we would die. But when we come out of the womb, we need to sever that umbilical cord. It must be cut off without hesitation. We come out destroying everything of the past. (299-038, 1999.02.01)

11 When the time comes, we must all end our life in our mother’s womb and begin our life on earth. Regardless of whether we desire it or not, the law of the universe operates this way. Then a new, vast and boundless world unfolds before us, one which we had never dreamed of or imagined. Our life in water ends and our life on earth begins. A span of ten months in the womb transitions into a span of one hundred years of life on earth. People lead diverse lives and go through changes as they prepare for the spirit world, the world we go to after we die. That is why I tell you not to worry about dying. You are simply moving to a better place. (447-158, 2004.05.01)

12 Just as we never imagined life in the world during our time in the womb, while we are living in the flesh we cannot imagine the very different, eternal and infinite world that is waiting for us. It is not a world of despair. Our life of one hundred years in this limited earthly realm transitions into life in the eternal realm transcendent of time and space. While living in the womb, we are supplied with nutrients from our mother through the umbilical cord, and our earthly life depends on the three basic elements of the universe—water, air and light—as well as nutritive elements. Once we enter the spirit world, however, we no longer need material nutrients; we live breathing love for all eternity. In the eternal world, we eat if we want to and we do not eat if we would rather not. No matter who we are, we live our life in three stages: ten months in water, one hundred years on earth, and eternity in the spirit world. (447-158, 2004.05.01)

13 After the age of water come the age of land and the age of light. In this regard, a person lives through three successive ages. The solar system, with the sun at its center, is always in daylight. On the other hand, night follows day on planet Earth. The spirit world is always in light. There are the ages of water and of air leading to the age of love. Love must never be extinguished. Like the light of the sun, love must be there at all times, night and day; whether morning, afternoon or evening, whether at the North Pole, the tropics, the South Pole or anywhere else, love doesn’t change. We will go to the spirit world to enter the age of love. The spirit world is like a storehouse for fruit grown and harvested during the four seasons. It is bathed in a light like that from the sun. 14 At first, we were nurtured through our mother’s placenta. The womb is the vessel in which we grew. We kicked away everything completely as we broke away, emerged from that container, and were born. Similarly, our physical body is the container for our spirit self and we will break away from it too, and fly away. Accordingly, human beings pass through the world of water and of land and finally come to live in the eternal world of true love, which is a world of light in the sky. In the spirit world, because love is the life element, we carry out all instructions given through love immediately. Nothing is impossible. In that world, even if a billion people were to have dinner at the same time and place, the amount of food necessary for such a feast could be instantly prepared. (298-313, 1999.01.17)

15 The light that illuminates the spirit world is that of true love. True love is like sunlight both in the earthly world and in the spirit world. That is why we leave behind the regime of living through our nose and come to live through our eyes. When you live through your eyes, you know everything with crystal clarity and nothing escapes you. After the world of the nose we enter the world of the eyes, the world of light. The fact that it is the world of the eyes tells us that our eyes that see this world will also see the spirit world. Through them, we can see whatever we like. We can see the Heavenly Parent; we can see the earthly Parents; we can see the vastness of the heavenly kingdom and how it compares to the earthly kingdom. We come to know that the spirit world and the earth are one reality, not two separate realities. Our eyes are made to see both. (391-161, 2002.08.21)
