연중 제6주일 복음 말씀(한*영)

행복합니다, 당신께서 뽑아 가까이 오도록 하신 이! 그는 당신의 뜰 안에 머물리이다.

Blessed the one whom you will choose and bring to dwell in your courts

[Psalms 65,5]

예수님께서 그들과 함께 산에서 내려가 평지에 서시니, 그분의 제자들이 많은 군중을 이루고, 온 유다와 예루살렘, 그리고 티로와 시돈의 해안 지방에서 온 백성이 큰 무리를 이루고 있었다.

And he came down with them and stood on a stretch of level ground. A great crowd of his disciples and a large number of the people from all Judea and Jerusalem and the coastal region of Tyre and Sidon

예수님께서 눈을 들어 제자들을 보시며 말씀하셨다. “행복하여라, 가난한 사람들! 하느님의 나라가 너희 것이다.

And raising his eyes toward his disciples he said: “Blessed are you who are poor, for the kingdom of God is yours.

행복하여라, 지금 굶주리는 사람들! 너희는 배부르게 될 것이다. 행복하여라, 지금 우는 사람들! 너희는 웃게 될 것이다.

Blessed are you who are now hungry, for you will be satisfied. Blessed are you who are now weeping, for you will laugh.

사람들이 너희를 미워하면, 그리고 사람의 아들 때문에 너희를 쫓아내고 모욕하고 중상하면, 너희는 행복하다!

Blessed are you when people hate you, and when they exclude and insult you, and denounce your name as evil on account of the Son of Man.

그날에 기뻐하고 뛰놀아라. 보라, 너희가 하늘에서 받을 상이 크다. 사실 그들의 조상들도 예언자들을 그렇게 대하였다.”

Rejoice and leap for joy on that day! Behold, your reward will be great in heaven. For their ancestors treated the prophets in the same way.

“그러나 불행하여라, 너희 부유한 사람들! 너희는 이미 위로를 받았다.

But woe to you who are rich, for you have received your consolation.

불행하여라, 너희 지금 배부른 사람들! 너희는 굶주리게 될 것이다. 불행하여라, 지금 웃는 사람들! 너희는 슬퍼하며 울게 될 것이다.

But woe to you who are filled now, for you will be hungry. Woe to you who laugh now, for you will grieve and weep.

모든 사람이 너희를 좋게 말하면, 너희는 불행하다! 사실 그들의 조상들도 거짓 예언자들을 그렇게 대하였다.”

Woe to you when all speak well of you, for their ancestors treated the false prophets in this way.
