SIS Reception students learned about Thomas Edison.

Our work today is by our Reception students.

Reception has been working hard this term. In Numeracy, they have been learning to count in 2s, 5s, and 10s. Not only that, but they are also learning to recognise coins from the UK.

Their new theme this half term is Inventions. The first inventor that they have learned about is Thomas Edison. They learned about the invention of the light bulb and they also made a paper bag puppet of Thomas Edison. They enjoyed learning about inventions as this ignited their curiosity and inspired them to be an inventor when they grow up.
