(시66:1-20)
1 For the director of music. A song. A psalm. Shout with joy to God, all the earth!  2 Sing the glory of his name; make his praise glorious!  3 Say to God, "How awesome are your deeds! So great is your power that your enemies cringe before you.  4 All the earth bows down to you; they sing praise to you, they sing praise to your name." Selah  5 Come and see what God has done, how awesome his works in man's behalf!  6 He turned the sea into dry land, they passed through the waters on foot--come, let us rejoice in him.  7 He rules forever by his power, his eyes watch the nations--let not the rebellious rise up against him. Selah  8 Praise our God, O peoples, let the sound of his praise be heard;  9 he has preserved our lives and kept our feet from slipping.  10 For you, O God, tested us; you refined us like silver.  11 You brought us into prison and laid burdens on our backs.  12 You let men ride over our heads; we went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance.  13 I will come to your temple with burnt offerings and fulfill my vows to you--  14 vows my lips promised and my mouth spoke when I was in trouble.  15 I will sacrifice fat animals to you and an offering of rams; I will offer bulls and goats. Selah  16 Come and listen, all you who fear God; let me tell you what he has done for me.  17 I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue.  18 If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened;  19 but God has surely listened and heard my voice in prayer.  20 Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me!  

가끔 대중들을 향하여 오래하는 세속음악인들 중에
특히 락음악을 하는 사람들을 보면
“소리 질러~~~!” 라고 외치고
청중들은 열광(熱狂)하는 모습을 본다

시편에서 ‘shout’라는 단어가 몇 번 나오느냐고
그랬더니 
총 11번 나온다고 답을 한다

시편은 총150편
그러니까 7.3%의 시편이 
소리쳐 하나님을 찬양하라는 것인데...
결코 작은 숫자는 아닐 터

다시 Ai 토비에게 
대중가요에서 “소리질러”라는 표현을 제일 먼저 사용한 사람이 누구냐고 질문하니
조용필이라는 대답과 함께 
‘그대여 변치마오’라는 노래를 하면서 사용한 것이 이후 많은 가수들이 가끔 사용하게 되었다는 답(答)

그의 그 노래는
1980년대 중반에 발표된 곡으로, 특히 1987년 발매된 "조용필 7집" 앨범에 수록 되었다고 하는데...
오늘의 본문의 시편이 등장한 시기는 BC(1040-970)에 해당하니 
아주 작게 잡아도 2950년 후에 조용필의 입에서 그 말이 나온 것으로 보인다

아쉬운 것은 
조용필의 종교를 검색해 보니
저가 불교도(佛敎徒)라는 점
정통 기독교가 빼앗긴 것이 ‘여호와의 증인’ ‘신천지’만이 아니라 ‘소리 질러’라는 용어도 있음을 발견...씁쓸하다는 생각이 든다

최근들어 우리교회에
비록 작지만 자라나는 세대들의 찬양사랑모습을 보고 있다
언젠간는 되찾아야 하는 ‘소리질러’ 외치며 
하나님을 찬양하는 그 날이 올 것을 기대한다

삼하6:20  다윗이 언약궤를 예루살렘으로 모셔 올 때
너무도 기뻐서 춤을 추다가 아마도 속살을 내 보인 것을 
그의 아내 미갈이 흉을 본 사실이 있는데...
삼하6:23 하나님은 미갈에게 벌을 내려 평생 아이를 낳지 못하게 하는 벌을 내린 사실...

다윗과 같은 찬양을 사랑하는 사람
너무 좋을 때 춤을 덩실 덩실 추었던 것처럼
내 목회의 현장에 함께하는 교우들이 
덩실덩실 춤을 추며 소리치며 하나님을 찬양하는 그 날이 빨리 도래했으면 좋겠다
