<p style="text-align: left;"><b>Summary</b>:<br>Paul appeals to the believers on the basis of encouragement in Christ, comfort of love, fellowship of the Spirit, and affection and compassion, urging them to make his joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, and intent on one purpose. He instructs them to do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility to regard one another as more important than themselves, and to look not only to their own interests, but also to the interests of others.<br> <br><b>Teaching</b>:<br>After receiving salvation in Jesus, we live in Him. Jesus is the Savior, Jesus Christ. To be in Christ is to live by faith. Do not remain outside of Christ while attending church, but be in Christ.<br><br>He saves us from many problems in daily life and provides the heart we need, along with everything else.<br><br>We must be of the same mind, having the same love, united in spirit, and holding to one purpose. Though we are individuals, if we share the same faith, we must live with one mind, one love, and one purpose.
