네 하나님 여호와 경외하기를 항상 배울 것이니라                                                                                        (신14:1~29)  신14:1   너희는 너희 하나님 여호와의 자녀니 죽은 자를 위하여 자기 몸을 베지 말며 눈썹 사이 이마 위의 털을 밀지 말라Deu14:1   Ye are the children of the LORD your God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.신14:2   너는 너의 하나님 여호와의 성민이라 여호와께서 지상 만민 중에서 너를 택하여 자기의 기업의 백성을 삼으셨느니라Deu14:2   For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.신14:3   너는 가증한 물건은 무엇이든지 먹지 말라Deu14:3   Thou shalt not eat any abominable thing.신14:4   너희 먹을 만한 짐승은 이러하니 곧 소와 양과 염소와Deu14:4   These are the beasts which ye shall eat: the ox, the sheep, and the goat,신14:5   사슴과 노루와 불그스럼한 사슴과 산 염소와 볼기 흰 노루와 뿔 긴 사슴과 산양들Deu14:5   The hart, and the roebuck, and the fallow deer, and the wild goat, and the pygarg, and the wild ox, and the chamois.신14:6   무릇 짐승 중에 굽이 갈라져 쪽발도 되고 새김질도 하는 것은 너희가 먹을 것이니라Deu14:6   And every beast that parteth the hoof, and cleaveth the cleft into two claws, and cheweth the cud among the beasts, that ye shall eat.신14:7   다만 새김질을 하거나 굽이 갈라진 짐승 중에도 너희가 먹지 못할 것은 이것이니 곧 약대와 토끼와 사반 그것들은 새김질은 하나 굽이 갈라지지 아니하였으니 너희에게 부정하고Deu14:7   Nevertheless these ye shall not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the cloven hoof; as the camel, and the hare, and the coney: for they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof; therefore they are unclean unto you.신14:8   돼지는 굽은 갈라졌으나 새김질을 못하므로 너희에게 부정하니 너희는 이런 것의 고기를 먹지 말 것이며 그 사체도 만지지 말 것이니라Deu14:8   And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcase.신14;9   물에 있는 어족 중에 이런 것은 너희가 먹을 것이니 무릇 지느러미와 비늘 있는 것은 너희가 먹을 것이요Deu14:9   These ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat:신14:10   무릇 지느러미와 비늘이 없는 것은 너희가 먹지 말찌니 이는 너희에게 부정하니라Deu14:10   And whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto you.신14:11   무릇 정한 새는 너희가 먹으려니와Deu14:11   Of all clean birds ye shall eat.신14:12   이런 것은 먹지 못할찌니 곧 독수리와 솔개와 어응과Deu14:12   But these are they of which ye shall not eat: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,신14:13   매와 새매와 매의 종류와Deu14:13   And the glede, and the kite, and the vulture after his kind,신14:14   까마귀 종류와Deu14:14   And every raven after his kind,신14:15   타조와 다호마스와 갈매기와 새매 종류와Deu14:15   And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk after his kind,신14:16   올빼미와 부엉이와 따오기와Deu14:16   The little owl, and the great owl, and the swan,신14:17   당아와 올응과 노자와Deu14:17   And the pelican, and the gier eagle, and the cormorant.신14:18   학과 황새 종류와 대승과 박쥐며Deu14:18   And the stork, and the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.신14:19   또 무릇 날기도 하고 기어다니기도 하는 것은 너희에게 부정하니 너희는 먹지 말 것이나Deu14:19   and every creeping thing that flieth is unclean unto you: they shall not be eaten.신14:20   무릇 정한 새는 너희가 먹을찌니라Deu14:20 But of all clean fowls ye may eat.신14:21   너희는 너희 하나님 여호와의 성민이라 무릇 스스로 죽은 것은 먹지 말 것이니 그것을 성중에 우거하는 객에게 주어 먹게 하거나 이방인에게 팔아도 가하니라 너는 염소 새끼를 그 어미의 젖에 삶지 말찌니라Deu14:21   Ye shall not eat of any thing that dieth of itself: thou shalt give it unto the stranger that is in thy gates, that he may eat it; or thou mayest sell it unto an alien: for thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.신14:22   너는 마땅히 매년에 토지소산의 십일조를 드릴 것이며Deu14:22   Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.신14:23   네 하나님 여호와 앞 곧 여호와께서 그 이름을 두시려고 택하신 곳에서 네 곡식과 포도주와 기름의 십일조를 먹으며 또 네 우양의 처음 난 것을 먹고 네 하나님 여호와 경외하기를 항상 배울 것이니라Deu14:23   And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always.신14:24   그러나 네 하나님 여호와께서 그 이름을 두시려고 택하신 곳이 네게서 너무 멀고 행로가 어려워서 그 풍부히 주신 것을 가지고 갈 수 없거든Deu14:24   And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it; or if the place be too far from thee, which the LORD thy God shall choose to set his name there, when the LORD thy God hath blessed thee:신14:25   그것을 돈으로 바꾸어 그 돈을 싸서 가지고 네 하나님 여호와의 택하신 곳으로 가서Deu14:25   Then shalt thou turn it into money, and bind up the money in thine hand, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose:신14:26   무릇 네 마음에 좋아하는 것을 그 돈으로 사되 우양이나 포도주나 독주 등 무릇 네 마음에 원하는 것을 구하고 거기 네 하나님 여호와의 앞에서 너와 네 권속이 함께 먹고 즐거워할 것이며Deu14:26   And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the LORD thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household,신14:27   네 성읍에 거하는 레위인은 너의 중에 분깃이나 기업이 없는 자니 또한 저버리지 말찌니라Deu14:27   And the Levite that is within thy gates; thou shalt not forsake him; for he hath no part nor inheritance with thee.신14:28   매 삼년 끝에 그 해 소산의 십분 일을 다 내어 네 성읍에 저축하여Deu14:28   At the end of three years thou shalt bring forth all the tithe of thine increase the same year, and shalt lay it up within thy gates:신14:29   너의 중에 분깃이나 기업이 없는 레위인과 네 성중에 우거하는 객과 고아와 과부들로 와서 먹어 배부르게 하라 그리하면 네 하나님 여호와께서 너의 손으로 하는 범사에 네게 복을 주시리라Deu14:29   And the Levite, (because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee,) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within thy gates, shall come and shall eat and be satisfied; that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hand which thou doest.     여호와께서 지상 만민 중에서 너를 택하여 자기의 기업의 백성을 삼으셨느니라   " The LORD has chosen you out of all the people on the earth to be His treasured posseseion."    하나님께서 우리를 선택하시고 우리의 삶을 어디에 마음의 중심을 두어야 하는 가를 교훈하여 주십니다.    "God teaches us that He has chosen us and shows us where we should place the center of our hearts in our lives."    특별히 우리의 삶이 하나님께 성별이 될 수 있도록 하기 위하여는 세상에서 어떠한 마음가짐을 가지며 살아가야 하는 지를 동물들의 깨끗함과 부정함의 구별을 두시고 비유하여 말씀하심을 우리는 여러 동물들의 특징을 살펴봄으로 그 의미를 알게 하셨습니다.    "In particular, to help our lives be consecrated to God, He uses the distinction between clean and unclean animals as an illustration to teach us what kind of heart and mindset we should have as we live in the world. As we examine the characteristics of these animals, we come to understand the meaning of His message."    하나님께서는 이 땅에서 우리를 하나님의 백성으로써 살아가야 하는 일들 속에 수많은 친구들 사회 속에서 흡수되어 살아갈 수밖에는 없는 우리들의 생활 깊은 곳에서 어떻게 살아가야 하는 지를 동물들의 모습을 통해서도 비유하여 말씀하심을 볼 수 있습니다.    "We can see that God also speake to us through the imagery of animals, illustrating how we should live as God's people on this earth, especially in the depths of our daily lives where we have no choice but to live among many friends and within society."    특히나 세상에 거하고는 살고 있지만 지혜를 가지고 분별하여 세상과 구별된 삶을 살아갈 것을 말씀하시고 또한 하나님의 말씀을 듣고 계속하여 되새기며 그 말씀의 깊은 뜻을 헤아려 살아가야 하는 일과 세상 속에서도 우리의 삶을 뒤돌아보며 회개하여 하나님의 가르침 속안으로 거하여야 하는 일들을 말씀하시고 계십니다.    "In particular, He teaches us that although we live in the world, we must live with wisdom and discernment, leading lives that are distinct from the world. He also instructs us to listen to God's Word, to continually reflect on it, and to live by understanding its deep meaning. Furthermore, He tells us that even while living in the world, we should examine our lives, repent, and remain within the guidance of God's teaching."    또한 우리의 삶의 중심은 하나님을 섬기며 그 분 앞에 함께 모여 주님의 말씀과 사랑의 애찬을 나눔으로 서로 섬기며 사랑하며 하나님 앞에서 즐거워하며 그분의 사랑으로 만족하는 삶을 살아갈 것을 말씀하시고 계십니다.    "He also teaches us that the center of our lives should be serving God-gathering together before Him, sharing the Lord's Word and the meal of love, serving and loving one another, rejoicing in God's presence, and living lives that are satisfied by His love."
