Summary:
Paul calls the believers to rejoice in the Lord and explains that repeating this instruction is a safeguard for them. He warns them to beware of those he describes as dogs, evil workers, and false circumcision. In contrast, he identifies true believers as the circumcision—those who worship in the Spirit of God, glory in Christ Jesus, and place no confidence in the flesh.
Teaching:
If you boast about your own faith or about your works of faith, that faith is already broken. If you are to boast, boast in Jesus.
And when you serve, it is not done by your own expertise or knowledge. Service is done by the Holy Spirit. It is serving in the Spirit and by the Spirit. It is the person of the Spirit who serves—not just anyone can truly serve.
