시118:1

감사할 수 있는 조건이 있을 때만 감사하는 것이 아니라 '항상 감사하라'고 사도 바울은 권면 했습니다. 하나님의 신실 하심을 믿기에 항상 감사할 수 있다는 것입니다. 과거에 행하신 구원에 대한 감사와 도래할 미래에 신실 하게 행하실 것, 곧 시제를 초월한 감사입니다. 악몽을 꾸고 일어났는데 하나님이 내 편이라고 하시니 이렇게 고마울 때가 없네요. 하나님은 당신의 백성들에게 감사와 찬양을 받기에 합당할 만큼 한결 같이 인자한 분이십니다.

Paul, the Apostle, advised me to always be grateful, not only when there are conditions to be grateful. I can always be grateful because I believe in God's faithfulness. Thank you for your salvation in the past and for your faithfulness in the coming future, that is, thank you beyond the tense. I woke up after a nightmare and I'm never more grateful to hear that God is on my side. God is a man of constant kindness enough to be appreciated and praised by your people.

이스라엘의 범죄로 인해 파괴된 성전이 다시 건축 되어 선 것을 지켜 보면서, 시인은 이스라엘 백성들은 늘 반역 하는데도 끝까지 언약을 기억하시고 구원하신 하나님의 변치 않은 사랑이 없었다면 결코 이 영광을 볼 수 없었을 것이라고 고백하고 있습니다. 이스라엘이 숨도 쉴 수 없는 협소한 곳에 내몰릴 때, 자기 백성의 부르지는 소리를 들으시고 건져내서 편히 숨 쉴 수 있는 넓은 곳에 세워주십니다. 창조 주 하나님, 역사의 주권 자이신 하나님께서 내 편에 서서 도우시면 아무도 나를 건드릴 수 없습니다.

Watching the reconstruction of the temple destroyed by Israel's crimes, the poet confesses that the people of Israel would never have been able to see this glory without the unchanging love of God who has saved them and remembered the covenant until the end, even though they are always rebelling. When Israel is driven to a narrow place where it cannot breathe, it hears the calling of its own people and lifts them up and puts them in a wide place where they can breathe peacefully. God, the Creator, the sovereign of history, stands by me and helps me, and no one can touch me.

하나님께서 나를 미워하는 자들에게 대신 갚아주실 것이니 두려울 것이 없습니다. 고난은 불평이 아닌 하나님을 경험하라고 주신 조건입니다. 여호와 이름의 권세만 의지하면, 대적들이 벌들처럼 에워싼다 하더라도 상관없습니다. 그들은 가시덤불이 삽시간에 불에 타 없어지듯이 파멸 될 것입니다. 참된 안전과 피난처는 하나님 한 분 뿐이십니다. 눈에 보이지 않는다고, 당장 효과가 나타나지 않는다고 사람을 의지해서는 안 됩니다.

God will repay those who hate me instead, so there is nothing to be afraid of. Suffering is not a complaint, but a condition given to experience God. It doesn't matter if the enemies surround them like bees, as long as you rely on the power of Jehovah's name. They will be destroyed as if thorns are burned down in an instant. There is only one true safety and refuge in God. You should not rely on people just because you are invisible and that it doesn't work right away.

우리의 진짜 대적은 눈에 보이는 사람이 아니라 하늘의 권세 잡은 악한 영이기 때문입니다. 그를 이길 수 있는 인간적인 자원은 없습니다. 그를 피할 수 있는 안전한 곳도 없습니다. 오직 주의 이름 뿐. 고통 중에 감사할 수 있는 이유는 무엇인가?

Because our real adversary is not a visible man, but an evil spirit who has the power of heaven. There is no human resource to beat him. There is no safe place to avoid him. Only the name of the Lord. Why can we be grateful during the suffering?

보응하시는 것을(7d)

한 결 같이 인자하신 하나님_God, who is always kind_

쉼 쉬게 하시는 하나님_God rest in peace_

안전과 평강을 주시는 하나님_God who gives you security and peace_

내 편이신 주님, 위기는 하나님에 대한 믿음을 시험하는 현장이자 하나님의 사랑을 확인하는 시간입니다. 누가 끝을 보게 될지는 끝까지 가봐야 하나이다. 끝은 힘의 우열로, 수의 많고 적음으로 판 가름 나는 것이 아니라 하나님이 누구 편에 서느냐에 따라 달라진다는 것을 믿고 감사하게 하옵소서.

Lord, who is on my side, the crisis is a field of testing faith in God and a time to confirm‎ God's love. Who will see the end must go to the end. Let us believe and appreciate that the end is not determined by the superiority of power, by the number and the lesser, but by whose side God stands.
