천성경 (증) - 316. 본연의 나를 찾는 길

22 여러분은 찾아야 할 본연의 나를 놓고 기뻐하지 못하는 자신인 것을 알아야 합니다. 슬픔에 처해 있는 자신인 것을 알아야 합니다. 그런데 어떠한 세계를 보고 슬퍼할 것이 아닙니다. 고통을 느끼더라도 어떠한 상대적인 세계에서 벌어지는 고통을 느껴서는 안 됩니다. 슬픔과 고통을 느낀다고 한다면 참된 나를 찾지 못한 슬픔, 참된 나를 찾지 못한 고통을 느껴야 합니다. 세상에 슬픔과 고통이 많이 있다 할지라도 참된 나를 찾지 못한 슬픔과 고통보다 더한 고통과 슬픔은 없습니다. 그러면 창조주 하나님이 지금까지 누구를 찾아 내려오고 계십니까? 여러분 자체, 즉 나를 찾아오고 계십니다. 그렇기 때문에 참된 내가 완전히 결정되어야 합니다. 그러지 못할 때 완전히 하나의 실체를 중심삼은 참된 가정, 참된 가정을 중심삼은 사회, 국가, 더 나아가 국가를 단위로 한 세계, 세계를 단위로 한 천주와는 인연을 맺을 수 없습니다. 그러므로 완전한 내가 되는 것이 모든 단계의 제일 기준이 됩니다.

23 우리 인간은 하나님의 말씀을 배반한 까닭으로 하나님의 말씀을 잃어버렸고, 하나님의 실체를 잃어버렸고, 하나님의 사랑을 잃어버렸습니다. 하나님이 말씀하실 때의 심정은 어떠했으며, 실체를 지을 때의 심정은 어떠했으며, 그 실체를 통하여 자랑하고자 하던 하나님의 내적 심정은 어떠했겠습니까? 따라서 우리는 하나님의 말씀을 잃어버린 자요, 본연의 실체를 잃어버린 자요, 하나님의 이념 동산을 움직여 낼 수 있는 사랑의 실체를 잃어버린 자입니다. 그러기에 우리는 나를 세워 자랑할 수 없는 죄인인 것을 깨달아야 됩니다. 또한 내 실체를 세워 주도적인 행사를 일으킬 수 없는 존재요, 내 마음을 세워 안식의 터전을 찾을 수 없는 존재인 것을 알아야 합니다.

24 마음은 가는 길을 자꾸 막습니다. ‘돌아서라. 옛것으로 돌아가라. 마음 깊은 데로 돌아가라.’라고 합니다. 그래서 불교에서는 참선을 하라고 하는 것입니다. 본연의 나를, 본연의 마음을 찾아 들어가야 하는 것은 서러운 이 땅 위의 생활이요 오늘날 이 땅 위의 현실이지만, 옛것으로 돌아가서 이것을 청산한 후에는 꿈에라도 과거를 생각한다는 일은 지긋지긋하다는 것입니다. 이것을 없애 버리려는 것이 하나님의 목적입니다. 그러니 새로운 이상세계와 새로운 소망에 취하여 살아야 합니다.

25 세상 사람이 요구하는 것은 좋은 것을 먹으려고 하고, 좋은 것을 입으려고 하는 것입니다. 그렇지만 도의 길을 가는 사람은 나쁜 것을 먹으려고 하는 것이 본질이 되어야 합니다. 반대입니다. 좋은 것을 못 먹고, 좋은 것을 못 입고, 못살더라도 본연의 인연을 찾아 영원히 나를 품어 줄 수 있는 그 사랑을 찾아가는 것이 도인들의 생활목적이요 생활방편입니다. 가는 길이 이렇게 다르다는 것입니다.

26 뜻의 본연의 자리는 하나님이 계시는 곳입니다. 그러기에 뜻의 본연의 자리는 거룩한 것입니다. 그곳은 만유의 모든 단계를 초월해 가지고 사방에서 측정하더라도 자기 위치가 몇 도라는 것이 확실히 나올 수 있습니다. 그렇지만 그것이 틀리게 될 때는, 내가 볼 때 180도인데 그 원점 기준이 다른 데에 가 있으니 돌려서 맞추기 전에는 180도를 찾을 길이 없습니다. 그러한 결과에 부딪히는 것이 역사과정이 타락권 내에 있다고 하는 개념 아래에서는 불가피한 결론입니다. 사방으로 나를 조준해서 영점 자리를 찾아야 합니다. 찾는 데는 본연의 영점 자리를 중심삼고 원기의 모든 것을 확실히 알아야 된다는 것을 알고, 그 이론에 일치시킬 때 나도 그렇게 된다는 것입니다. 그 사실을 찾기 전에는, 우리 자체가 제2의 결과적 존재로서 출발할 수 있는 뜻의 일치점의 자리를 찾을 수 없습니다. 그것은 이론적으로 맞습니다. 이의가 없는것입니다.

27 아담 해와를 지을 때 본래의 인연을 중심삼고 온갖 정성을 다한 것과 같이, 타락한 이 고장 난 물건을 고치기 위해서는 천년 역사에서 창조하던 것의 몇 십배 이상의 힘을 들여서 본연의 자리를 찾아야 합니다. 몇 백번, 몇 백번, 몇 백번 이렇게 해서 자리 잡아 나오려니까 수천년 수만년의 복귀역사가 걸리지 않을 수 없습니다.

28 인간은 악마의 주관권, 사탄의 주관권 내에서 본성의 마음에 반대되는 사탄의 사랑권에 의해 치리 받음으로써 양심과 몸이 투쟁하게 되었습니다. 이 투쟁을 어떻게 정비하느냐 하는 것이 중요한 문제입니다. 이것을 정비하는 데는 나 혼자 개인 사정을 정비하는 것으로 끝나는 것이 아닙니다. 나를 중심삼고 사탄권 세계의 환경을 정비해야 합니다. 그래서 그 환경이 자신과 상충을 일으키는 것이 아니라, 모든 환경이 나에게 순응하고 그 환경 자체가 나를 따라올 수 있게 만들어 놓아야 됩니다. 그러지 않고는 본연의 마음이 지향하는 곳으로 찾아갈 수 없습니다.

29 나는 어떤 존재냐? 이 우주사적인 존재로서, 최후의 인생행로에서 승리의 면류관을 맞아 천지의 만우주를, 만유의 존재물을 상속받을 수 있는 거룩한 왕자입니다. 이러한 존재들이 떨어져 밥 한 덩이에 팔려가고, 어느 무가치한 악당 무리한테 농락을 당해야 되겠습니까? 그것을 용허할 수 없습니다. 이제 우리가 찾아야 됩니다. 우리가 복귀의 사명을 감당하여 인간의 본성을 회복시켜야 합니다. 본연의 나는 어디 있습니까? 나를 찾기 위해 헤매고 있고, 본연의 나 자신을 알아서 거기에 인연맺어 살려는 소망에서 허덕이고 있습니다. 역사적인 기원과 통하여 있고, 역사적인 기원에만 통하는 것으로 그치는 것이 아니라 그 배후에는 천지의 법도와 연결돼 있고, 현실과 연결돼 있고, 앞으로 오는 미래와 연결돼 있는 나를 찾아야 됩니다.

天聖経 (增) - 316. 本然の自分を探す道

22　皆さんは、取り戻すべき本然の自分を置いたまま、喜ぶことのできない自らであることを知らなければなりません。悲しみに置かれている自らであること を知らなければならないのです。しかし、ある世界を見て悲しく思うのではありません。悲しみや苦痛を感じるとしても、ある相対的な世界で起こる悲しみや苦 痛を感じるのではなく、「真の私」を探せない悲しみ、真の私を探せない苦痛を感じなければなりません。世の中に悲しみと苦痛がたくさんあるとしても、真の 私を探せない悲しみと苦痛よりひどい苦痛と悲しみはありません。
それでは、創造主である神様は、今まで誰を求め続けていらっしゃいますか。皆さん自体、すなわち私を訪ねてきていらっしゃいます。ですから、真の私が完全 に決定されなければなりません。そうすることができないとき、完全に一つの実体を中心とした真の家庭、真の家庭を中心とした社会、国家、さらには国家を単 位とした世界、世界を単位とした天宙とは、関係を結ぶことができません。ですから、完全な私になることが、すべての段階の一番の基準になるのです。

23　人間は、神様のみ言に背いたために、神様のみ言を失い、神様の実体を失い、神様の愛を失ってしまいました。神様がみ言を語られるときの心情はどうで あり、実体を造るときの心情はどうであり、その実体を通して誇ろうとしていた神様の内的心情はどうだったのでしょうか。このようなことを考えるとき、私た ちは、神様のみ言を失った者であり、本然の実体を失った者であり、神様の理念の園を動かせる愛の実体を失った者だというのです。
ですから、私たちは、自分を立てて誇ることのできない罪人だと悟らなければなりません。また、自分の実体を立てて主導する行事ができない存在であり、自分 の心を立てて安息の基盤を求められない存在であることを知らなければならないのです。

24　心は、行く道をしきりに止めようとします。「背を向けなさい。昔に帰りなさい。心の深いところに帰りなさい」と言います。ですから、仏教では「座禅 をしなさい」と言うのです。本然の私を、本然の心を求めていかなければならないのは、悲しいこの地上の生活であり、今日、この地上の現実ですが、昔に帰っ てこれを清算したのちには、夢にでも過去を考えたくないというのです。これをなくしてしまおうとするのが神様の目的です。ですから、新しい理想世界と新し い希望に酔いしれて生きなければなりません。

25　世の中の人が求めるのは、良いものを食べようとし、良いものを着ようとするのです。しかし、修行の道を行く人は、悪いものを食べようとするのが本質 にならなければなりません。反対です。良いのを食べられず、良いのを着られず、貧しくとも、本然の関係を求め、永遠に「私」を抱いてくれるその愛を訪ねて いくことが、宗教人たちの生活目的であり、生活の方便です。行く道が、このように違うというのです。

26　み旨の本然の位置は、神様がいらっしゃるところです。ですから、み旨の本然の位置は神聖なのです。そこは、万有のすべての段階を超越し、四方から測 定しても、自分の位置が何度だということがはっきり出てくるのです。しかし、それが合わないときは、自分が見ると一八〇度なのに、その原点基準がほかのと ころにあるので、回して合わせるまでは一八〇度になる道がありません。そのような結果にぶつかるのは、歴史過程が堕落圏内にあるという概念のもとでは、避 けられない結論です。
 「私」を照準として四方から零点の位置を探さなければなりません。探すには、本然の零点の位置を中心として、原器のすべてをはっきりと知るべきことを理解 して、その理論に一致させるとき、私もそのようになるというのです。その事実を見いだすまでは、私たち自体が結果的存在として出発できる、み旨の一致点を 探すことはできません。それは理論的にそうです。異議がないのです。

27　アダムとエバを造るとき、本来の関係を中心として、あらゆる精誠を尽くしたように、この堕落して故障した物を直すためには、千年歴史で創造したもの の何十倍以上の力を注いで本然の位置を取り戻さなければなりません。何百回、何百回、何百回、このようにして定着していこうとするので、数千年、数万年の 復帰歴史がかからざるを得ないのです。

28　人間は、悪魔の主管圏内、サタンの主管圏内で、本性の心と反対のサタンの愛の圏内で統治されることによって、良心と体が闘争するようになりました。 この闘争をいかに整備するか、ということが重要な問題です。
これを整備するには、「私」一人の個人の事情を整備することで終わるのではありません。私を中心としてサタン圏の世界の環境を整備しなければなりません。 ですから、その環境が自らと相いれないようにするのではなく、すべての環境が私に順応し、その環境自体が私についてくることができるようにしておかなけれ ばなりません。そうでなければ、本然の心が指向する所に訪ねていけないのです。

29　「私」とは、どのような存在なのでしょうか。この宇宙史的な存在として、最後の人生行路で勝利の冠を求め、天地の万宇宙、万有の存在物を相続できる 神聖な王子です。このような存在が落ちて、一握りの米で売られていき、どこかの無価値な悪党の群れに籠絡されていいのでしょうか。それを許容することはで きません。今から、私たちが取り戻さなければなりません。私たちが復帰の使命を担って、人間の本性を回復させなければならないのです。
 本然の私は、どこにいますか。私を取り戻すためにさまよっていて、本然の私自身を知って、そこに関係を結んで生きようとする希望の中であえいでいます。歴 史的な起源と通じ、歴史的な起源にだけ通じることで終わるのではなく、その背後には天地の法度と連結され、現実と連結されていて、今後、訪れる未来と連結 されている私を取り戻さなければならないのです。

22 You cannot rejoice in who you are, since you are not your original self. You must recognize that your situation is sorrowful. Your grief, however, should not be directed toward the world. Even when you feel pain, your pain should bear no relationship to the anguish of the secular world. When you feel sadness and pain, your sadness should come from being unable to find your true self. No matter how great the anguish and suffering of the world, they do not exceed the sadness and pain people experience being unable to find their true selves. Given this situation, for whom has God been searching until now? God has been searching for each of you. This is why you need to uncover and strengthen your true selves. Otherwise you have no relationship to a true family of true individuals, a true society built upon true families, a true nation of true societies, a true world made up of such true nations, or to the cosmos that bears this ideal world that perfectly centers on the substance of oneness. The first standard for all these levels of goodness is individual perfection. (5-065, 1958.12.21)
 
23 By disobeying God’s Word, humankind lost God’s Word, lost His substance and lost His love. Can you imagine God’s heart as He spoke the Word, His heart as He created human beings to be His substance, and His internal heart anticipating the pride He would feel through that substance? We are the ones who lost God’s Word, failed to embody Him and failed to embody the love that could create the garden envisioned by God. Hence we must realize that we are all sinners who cannot take pride in ourselves. On the contrary, we are beings who are incapable of establishing initiatives on our own and unable to find any basis to discover the foundation for the Sabbath within our own minds. 24 Our mind constantly redirects us along our way. It tells us, “Turn around. Return to the ancient place. Return to the deepest place in your mind.” This is why Buddhism encourages us to meditate. The reality of our life on earth is that through our original mind’s guidance we sorrowfully seek our original selves. Once we have purified ourselves and returned to the ancient place, it is excruciating to recall our past, even in dreams. God’s goal is to eliminate this kind of sorrow-filled life. We should be living in the new, ideal world, enraptured with renewed hope. (7-279, 1959.09.27)
 
25 In the secular world, people seek good food and wear fashionable clothes. In contrast, the basic attitude of a religious seeker should be to eat simple food by choice. This is opposite to the way of the world. When you look at religious seekers, you see that despite eating humble food, wearing shabby clothes and leading impoverished lives, their way of life and their purpose is to find the original relationship—the love that can embrace them eternally. 26 The original place of the Will is where God dwells. Therefore that original place is sacred. When we transcend all levels of creation and measure our coordinates from all directions, we can determine exactly where we are in relation to the Absolute. However, if we are mistaken in measuring and are not aligned with the original point at 180 degrees, we cannot reach it until we realign and straighten ourselves out. Given the context of our sinful history, this is the inevitable conclusion. We need to realign ourselves with all four directions in order to find the original zero point. And in order to find that zero point, we need to clearly understand the original center. Only when we fully unite with the zero point can we reach that original center. Until we understand this, we cannot recover our position as a second, resultant being, totally united with the Will, through which we can achieve a new beginning. This is logical and no one can object to it. (127-209, 1983.05.08)
 
27 When God created Adam and Eve, He invested Himself wholeheartedly based on that original relationship. In the same fashion, we must transform our fallen selves and strive to return to our original position, by investing several dozen times greater effort than God did, using all His creativity through thousands of years of history. In the history of restoration, the effort to secure a foundation of goodness has run to hundreds of attempts and has taken tens of thousands of years. (475-253, 2004.11.12)
 
28 The human body and conscience began to fight once they were placed under the realm of Satan’s love, within the devil’s dominion, which stands opposed to the original mind. The critical issue is how to resolve this fight between our conscience and our body. Resolving the issue at the personal level, however, is not enough. Each of us must repair the global environment, which has been overtaken by satanic forces. The environment should not contradict us; it should adjust to us. It should even follow us. Unless we accomplish the correct order of dominion, we cannot move in the direction to which our original minds aspire. (143-122, 1986.03.17)
 
29 We must ask ourselves, “What kind of being am I?” We are divine princes and princesses with cosmic value who are meant to find the crown of glory at the end of our lives, inheriting all of creation and the entire universe. Is it acceptable that people with such value be sold for a bowl of rice, or be the puppet of a group of worthless outlaws? Absolutely not! We must find ourselves. We need to bear the responsibility for our own restoration and rebuild our original nature. We have to ask, “Where is my original self?” We are searching, full of hope as we struggle to reunite with our true selves. We must uncover our self, which is connected with the origin of history, with cosmic law, with today’s reality and with the future. (151-079, 1962.10.07)
