As I mentioned in class yesterday morning, there have been many advances in transportation over the last few decades. Urbanization and the rising demand for more efficient transit methods are causing a shift toward the development of electric vehicles and high-speed trains. Please share your thoughts on the following question : Which is the most important innovation in transportation of the last few decades? Why?

I immediately thought of passenger drones. I read an article the other day about a company that designed a two-passenger drone. This technology will revolutionize how we get around in cities. In the near future, we might be able to call up a drone with our smartphone and then fly to our destination!

I think scooter rental services have made it much more convenient to travel short distances. I used to take the bus to get to the subway station, but sometimes it didn't arrive on time. Now, I can just rent an electric scooter in front of my house and drop it off outside the subway station.
