시118:14

한 해의 마지막 날입니다. 다르지 않은 다른 한 날일 뿐인데 새해, 새 날이라고 부릅니다. 실은 모든 날이 새 날이지요. 어느 한 날도 새롭지 않은 적이 없던 고귀한 생명을 선물로 받은 구별된 날입니다. 거룩하신 생명의 주인이 주신 이날에 무엇을 기억하고 무엇을 기대해야 할까? 구약 학자 슈미트는 하나님의 이름인 야훼는 돕는 자라는 의미를 함축한다고 주장합니다. 이것은 시편의 여러 구절에서 하나님이 존재의 의미보다는 돕는 분의 형태로 자주 등장하는 것을 볼 때 매우 설득력 있는 분석과 해석이라고 생각합니다.

It's the last day of the year. It's just another day, and it's called New Year's Day, New Year's Day. Actually, every day is a new day. It's a distinct day when we received a noble life as a gift that was never new. What should we remember and what should we expect on this day given by the Holy Master of Life? Old Testament scholar Schmidt argues that Yahweh, the name of God, implies the meaning of helping. I think this is a very convincing analysis and interpretation given that in many verses of the Psalm, God often appears in the form of helping rather than the meaning of existence.

하나님은 돕는 분이며, 이 일은 그를 신뢰하는 사람의 현재는 물론이고 미래에도 유효합니다. 하나님은 당신을 신뢰하는 자에게 영원한 도움이 되시는 분입니다. 하나님은 인간과 함께 지내기 위해 또 다른 인간을 만들면서 서로가 서로를 돕는 존재를 염두 해 두신 것입니다. 그리고 이 사실은 예수 그리스도를 통해 분명하게 드러났습니다. 예수님은 우리와 함께 하시는 분으로서 인간의 육체를 입고 오셨고 돕는 자로 사셨습니다.

God is the one who helps, and this work is valid not only in the present but also in the future of those who trust him. God is the one who forever helps those who trust you. God was mindful of the existence of helping each other while creating another human to stay with humans. And this fact was evident through Jesus Christ. Jesus came dressed in the human body as a person who was with us and lived as a helper.

성령을 통해서도 돕는 분이라는 사실을 드러내셨는데 성령의 헬라어 파라클레토스는 위로 자, 돕는 자, 변호자 의 뜻을 가지고 있습니다. 그의 능력의 역사는 시인의 회고 밖으로 튀어나올 것처럼 생생합니다. 여호와께서 오른 손을 드시면 대적은 속수무책이 됩니다. 그들의 많은 군사와 말과  병거는 무용지물이 됩니다. 대적의 장막에는 비탄이 가득했지만, 성도의 장막에는 기쁜 소리, 구원의 소리가 하늘 높이까지 울려 퍼졌습니다.

시인은 고난 속에서도 자신은 죽지 않고 살아서 하나님의 증인이 될 것이라고 합니다. 그는 이 전쟁의 곤경이 하나님의 진노의 표현이 아니라 자신과 이 나라를 향한 연단과 훈련임을 잘 알고 있었습니다. 진멸 시키려고 보내신 대적이 아니라 참된 백성으로 양육하려고 보내셨음을 알고는 하나님의 도성에 들어가 감사의 제사를 드릴 것이라고 고백합니다. 오 주님, 당신만이 아십니다. 죽음의 고비 고비마다 함께하신 여호와 이례의 하나님을 찬양하나이다.

The poet says that he will live without dying and become a witness to God. He was well aware that the plight of this war was not an expression‎ of God's wrath, but a platform and training for himself and this country. I confess that I will enter the capital of God and offer a sacrifice of gratitude, knowing that he sent me to raise me as a true people, not as a great enemy sent to extinguish. O Lord, only you know. Praise Jehovah and the unusual God who were with you at every crisis of death.

나단의 신탁(삼하7:8-16)에서 집이란 하나님 나라를 뜻하며, 그 것을 건설하도록 하나님께서 선택하신 다윗의 가문 예수를 머릿돌로 사용하신 역사가 바로 기이한 바(23b)입니다. 사람의 생각과 예상이 닿을 수 없는 하나님의 놀라운 계획 말입니다. 그 일은 십자가와 부활이 틀림없습니다. 118편 기자는 실제로 죽음에 빠질 뻔 했지만, 예수는 우리를 위하여 역사적인 죽음을 당하셨습니다. 생명의 날에 무엇을 기억하고 무엇을 기대할까?

전세를 역전 시키시는 주님, 하나님의 인자하심과 선하심으로 2024년을 지나왔나이다. 마지막이라고 생각한 그 순간에 하나님은 하루를 보태셨고, 그 적어 보이는 은혜를 날마다 갱신하며 오늘까지 왔습니다. 오 주여!내가 주를 뵈옵나이다. 여호와의 권능과 은혜를 송축하나이다. 무안 제주 항공 유족들을 위로해 주시며 저 북녘 땅에도 주의 얼굴빛을 비춰주옵소서.

The Lord, who turns the tide, has passed 2024 with God's kindness and goodness. At the last moment when I thought it was the last time, God added a day, and I have come to this day, renewing that seemingly small grace every day. O Lord! I see the Lord. Praise the power and grace of the Lord. Please comfort the bereaved families of Muan Jeju Air and shine your face on that northern land.
