Invitation to all Artists Internationally!

In 2004 artists from around the world exhibited in Detroit, Michigan in

"The Envelope"

"The Envelope Exhibition" (www.ryanestrada.com/envelope) was the brainchild of Ryan Estrada of Detroit Michigan. He challenged artists creativity globally to submit works of art via post...literally create a work of art that could be sent in an envelope and that the envelope would serve as an integral part of the piece giving contact details about the artist. The exhibition was a complete success with huge exposure and media coverage around the world. It is Ryans wish that this exhibition should travel around the globe, changing and growing as it travels.

It is now Canada's turn to host an international exhibition and challenge artists creativity!

Canada encourages Artists to join our

"Trash Exhibition 2005"

All artwork should be created on a piece of recyclable trash. For example,

Ryan himself is currently in Thailand working on clean-up after the tsunami. While working, Ryan found several damaged paintings destined for the trash. He has decided to create a work of art on the old damaged canvas! Should prove interesting! However, you may not be in Thailand so feel free to use any recyclable trash to create your piece! Example: Bags, boxes, bottles, rags ....whatever!

Exhibition Date

July 22nd, 2006. All submissions must be received on or before July 15th and must be accompanied with an artist's statement and contact information. All artwork will be auctioned off to raise money for the new Grand Forks Art Gallery and the Grand Forks World Peace Initiative.

All mediums and styles accepted, but all art must be created on recyclable trash that will legally cross International borders.
