Thanks to everyone who came along to Super Stylish Shopping a couple of weeks ago at the E&O Hotel - the surprise hit of the event was new vendor Sangeet with her simple but stylish Mantra bands (modelled by one happy shopper - left) so hope to see her back at Super Stylish Shopping soon.

Thanks also to everyone who came to our first Secret Antique & Collectibles Fair in KL last weekend - and lovely to see some familiar faces who had travelled down from Penang to visit us! Thanks once again to Allied Pickfords - The Careful Movers for their support - if you are moving this year, there's still time to contact them on 03-6253 6553 or enquiries@alliedpickfords.com.my to see whether they can help you too.

We are winding down our programme of activities as we head towards the summer holidays though we still have spaces on our Magical Firefly trip on 12 June 2015. And we have had some requests for another Historic House Tour so we will see if we can fit that in too.

Apart from that, we have had some enquiries as to whether we will be arranging any children's activities over the summer - and I'm afraid the answer is no! But if you know of activities or are arranging anything, we are happy to share them with our subscribers so do send us details and we will help to spread the word.

PS Here's something arty for the weekend - if you are free this Saturday evening 6 June 2015 from 8pm, then head over to 90A Lorong Macalister for the Grand Opening of the Little Art House, a community project and gallery led by a team of volunteers to promote artistic communication & collaboration between the various communities that live in Penang. 

See exciting new works by selected local & international artists including Ernest Zacharevic, Lusy Decoursey, Esther Geh, Winnie Cheng & Marysol Doege amongst others. 

The LAH team will be collaborating with other businesses in Lorong Macalister to create a street party so drop by to support them and enjoy art, live music and a great atmosphere.

PPS. For those staying in Penang during the summer, one of the highlights is the month-long George Town Festival during August. Featuring art, theatre, dance, music, photography, comedy, local & international culture the festival is going from strength to strength.

Pick up Tanjung Bungah, Gurney Drive and by arrangement

Picking up in Tanjung Bungah, Gurney Drive or by arrangement in our air-conditioned minivan or coach (depending on numbers), we head across the bridge to the mainland before heading south. Stopping on route for seafood dinner (chicken & veg options for non-seafood eaters), we then head to the jetty where we board our boat to see the truly Magical fireflies (life-jackets provided & compulsory).

He would love to film in Malaysia and wants to find expats who have moved here within the last 15 months or have been here for 3-4 years, but recently moved into a new home. The show documents your move to a new country - you could be from the US or elsewhere and it doesn't matter whether you are young or old or have relocated for work, for study or to retire.

저는 코타키나발루에서 해 봤는데 이 곳도 좋다고들 하시더라구요. 탄중붕아와 거니(다른곳도 요청하면 올듯)에서 픽업해서 저녁까지 먹고 다시 데려다 준다니 가격대비 괜찮을 듯 해요. 저는 반딧불 투어 바로 밑에 랑카위 부틱호텔 프로모션이 더 끌리네요.
