<p style="text-align: left;"><b>Summary</b>:<br>God’s justice will repay with affliction those who afflict His people and will give relief to those who suffer. This relief will come when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire. He will bring judgment upon those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of the Lord Jesus. They will receive the penalty of eternal destruction, separated from the Lord’s presence and the glory of His power<br><br><b>Teaching</b>:<br>This world now stands against the kingdom of God, and the kingdom of God stands against the world. This is spiritual warfare.<br><br>However, we are not fighting against the people of this world. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Our true battle is against the devil, the evil spirits that belong to him, and the persecution and turmoil caused through people under their control.<br><br>Our way of fighting is to endure suffering according to God’s will.<br><br>Those who do not know God are those who do not belong to the church and remain ignorant of the church, the Bible, and faith. They will be judged, no matter how morally good they may appear.<br><br>Hell is a place without the presence of the Lord and without the glory of His power. Even on this earth, those who turn away from the Lord’s presence and live apart from His glory experience a life resembling hell.
