Summary:
The lawless one will come in accordance with Satan’s activity, displaying power, false signs, and wonders while using wicked deception against those who are perishing. They perish because they did not accept the love of the truth that would lead to salvation. For this reason, God sends them a deluding influence so that they believe what is false. Consequently, those who refused to believe the truth and instead took pleasure in wickedness will be judged.
Teaching:
When the Antichrist appears, the world will be in deep darkness. In that darkness and confusion, people will become anxious and tremble with fear, causing them to bow before this evil one. When people are afraid, they become intimidated and end up doing whatever he commands.
He will be attractive and successful in everything he does. He will govern effectively and restore the economy. False faith will begin within the church, and apostasy will follow.
Those who perish do so because they neither love nor accept the truth. In other words, they do not read the Bible or listen to the preaching of the Word, and therefore they are not saved.
Believing in Jesus is wisdom and knowledge. Therefore, let us learn, bow before Him, and live according to the Word we have heard.
